Beautiful quiet village location in Imlil. Picturesque walks direct from the hotel. The outdoor terraces with Mountain views are especially nice. Breakfast was served on the lower one and was delicious, We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t warm enough when we were there as the location is already quite high in the mountains, but it looked lovely - perfect for summer. Rooms were comfortable, and the owner is very helpful. We would stay again.
Be aware you can’t drive direct to the hotel. Parking is next to the river and then approx 300-400m to walk on a rough path. We loved it but might not suit everyone, The owner is really helpful and helped carry our luggage.

The Riad is located just a few minutes of the main road and is very authentic. The staff was helpful and really friendly. View from the rooftop terrace was just terrific. Breakfast was simple, tasty and was served with care.
We expected double bed, but instead we got two bed attached together.

We absolutely loved this riad. It has a great view of the Imlil area and the valleys and the hosts were very attentive. Be sure to have dinner there as well.
You have to leave your car and then walk a bit to the property, but they can help you take your luggage. The short walk is well worth it to have the views and setting of the place.

Great service. Was not feeling well enough to hike seriously and Nisha and Mohammed looked after me very well.
Little remote but adds to the charm.

Little remote from village but does get the afternoon sun and it's a walking holiday!

The gorgeous small riad is located on the mountain slope with a beautiful view of the village below and the High Atlas mountains. Mohammad is a wonderful host: he is very communicative and goes out of his way to take care of his guests. The breakfast served is one of the better ones we had in Morocco, and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner on two nights at Jnane Karma. I definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Imlil.

We stayed 5 nights and were sorry to leave. The highlights were:
- the friendly authentic Berber hospitality provided by the manager Mohammed. He (and sometimes his wife) prepared the meals, gave advice, and arranged treks for us.
- the views, which are absolutely stunning.
- the large bedroom which had a balcony facing the mountains.
- the roof terrace which was a marvellous place to hang out and take in the views.
- the home cooked tagine dinners on the lower terrace were wonderful.
- the pool for cooling off after a trek.
There was nothing we didn’t like but these are things to be aware of:
- the riad is close to the village of Ait Souka on the far side of Imlil. When going up the road out of Imlil look out for 2 signs to the riad on the left. There is a left turn by the second one. If the road starts to bend back on itself and turns into a track you have gone too far! You park the car by a bridge and there is a footpath about 200m long to the riad along an irrigation channel. Mohammed or someone he knows can help with luggage.
- the wifi is adequate considering the location.

The manager of the hotel, Muhammad, was extremely attentive and hard working. He was very welcoming and cooked lovely food for us each morning and evening. The rooms and the pool were kept very clean. Overall, an excellent 3star hotel.

It's a small beautifull riad, you'll have to walk to it from the mainroad, but once you are there, you will have a stunning view over the mountains.
We have enjoyed our stay. Also the food in the evening was delicious.
Mohammed thank you for everything.

fantastic view from the breakfast terrace. room ceilings were amazing.
very desorganized. First night no hot shower. 2nd and 3rd day no toilet paper. Shower box weird, dark during day and night. Staff did as much as possible to help, but some of the basic things a hotel is expected to have were missing.

Even better than the pictures. The food was amazing and the host was so nice and helpful. Very clean too. You do have to walk a bit to get to it but it’s so worth it for the views!
Nothing it was amazing.

After a little walk up the mountain (they help you with the luggage) you come to this wonderful small hotel with unobstructed views of the Atlas Mountains. The host is very friendly and the diner that was a real treat.

The view is unbeatable! I loved the feeling of being in the countryside. The swimming pool is so nice. The bed is comfortable and the AC works! Mohammed was very kind an helpful. Although it's a bit hard to get to , and inaccessible by car, Mohammed carried my suitcase for me, which I appreciate. Otherwise it would have been impractical for me as a single woman with health issues. The food was delicious (including the coffee!) and I was given a packed breakfast when I left early.
I wish I could have been prepared for the long walk up the hill. As directed, I contacted Riad Oussagou on arrival and they helped me with everything, which was great. But it would have been better if I could just have called them or messaged them from the centre of Imilil and they could come and get me and my case. Anyway, this was not a bit problem.

It was a beautiful place to stay! Mohammed was the nicest owner you could wish for. The pool is a nice place to cool down after a long hike in the atlas mountains.

A beautiful guesthouse with incredible views. The room was super comfortable and had lovely views from the balcony. The hosts here were some of the most helpful people in the whole of Morocco. They came and collected us after our walk from Toubkal which was much appreciated. They cooked the most delicious food for both dinner and breakfast.
We unfortunately left some clothes at the guest house and the owner was so kind as to return them to us in Marrakesh - Thank you!!
The pool is a really special addition to the guesthouse - unique for imlil and is definitely appreciated after a long day of hiking.
Would highly recommend staying at

We stayed here for a week and Mohammed was the most wonderful host. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable without being overbearing at all. He was really helpful trustworthy and had loads of local knowledge that was really useful. The pool and pool area were amazing - the views unbeatable. The breakfast selection was also some of the best we have had in Morocco, and the dinners we had were delicious. It is located just outside of Imlil, in a quiet and peaceful spot that feels really authentic, and relaxing, yet only a 15 minute walk from the town centre. It's really a perfect location for starting hikes straight from the property, and Mohammed suggested loads of amazing ones we could do without a guide. We have recommended to family and friends and will definitely be coming back!
The shower took quite a while to heat up (understandable) and a long time to drain, but really it was fine.

Little piece of heaven. We had a very relaxed time in a place that felt like home. There are plenty of cosy corners to sit and enjoy the breathtaking views.
A small warning for those who arrive by car: do not follow Google maps since you cannot reach this place by car. There's a sign on the road but if you miss it you might get stuck on one of the small dirt ways. Better call the accommodation if your nearby they'll be happy to guide you.

The property was wonderful - Mohammed was super helpful and like all other reviews was very balanced in terms of being around and letting us enjoy our privacy. the pool was excellent and a very relaxing space. breakfast was delicious and dinner was a nice homemade meal
it’s a beautiful location, very quiet, only thing to note is it’s about a 10 min walk from the car park and 20 mins from town

Gorgeously situated, overlooking a cherry grove, a green valley, and the High Atlas Mountains. Very quiet, except for the most beautiful birdsong in the morning.
Excellent breakfast served on the patio.

Jnane Karma is a lovely guesthouse, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay in this area. It is both clean and comfortable, and has wonderful views from its roof terrace. It is a short walk from the centre of Imlil, in a beautiful location that is calm and peaceful. The staff looked after us very well and the food was delicious - both breakfast and dinner. We’d love to be able to return when the weather is warmer, to be able to make use of the swimming pool.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Location of property was perfect. room was nice and spacious, with the most amazing views. Breakfast included was very tasty. we stayed in both nights for dinner which was super delicious, traditional Moroccan food. Mohammed sorted us with a guide who took us on an amazing trail lasting about 5/6 hours. The property was on this trail. would recommend to anyone to stay here.
only managed to get one warm shower between the two of us and nights. As it was cold at night and we were walking in the day would have been nice to have a warm shower. I don’t think this can be helped due to the nature of the location and if you’re used to hiking in remote locations this won’t be a problem

Super nice view to the mountains with friendly and helpful service, clean rooms and a big terrace!
Wifi was a bit slow and sometimes not working. But fast mobile connection is available if you have a Moroccan Sim card :)

This hotel has the perfect view out of all the hotels in imlil. The room had a balcony with a beautiful breathtaking view and so did both of the terraces. We enjoyed our breakfast in the rooftop terrace. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and he provided us with everything we needed. When we first arrived he gave us tea and a snack for free to enjoy in our balcony as a welcoming gesture. And he prepared for us dinner at night. The breakfast was excellent and filling. This hotel became our favorite place to stay in imlil. You shouldn't think twice before reserving a room a here.

they give us the room until 14H and unfortunately, the air conditioner didn't work.

I've travelled a lot in my life, and this was hands down the BEST place I have ever stayed. Beautiful room, fabulous views from the terrace and pool, lovely, friendly and helpful staff who also cooked the most divine food for us. And amazing value to boot...we will absolutely be back! 🙂
Nothing....everything was fabulous!

The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, they have clean rooms with facinating views. The breakfast is rich, delicious and flexible if you don't want to wake up early :D. Well equipped patio/pool, great for family and group of friends gathering.
The only "bad" thing about the stay was the bed. It would have been better if they propose a normal double bed for couples instead of assembling two single beds. It was really uncomfortable.

The view is a piece of heaven and Mohamed was very friendly.
