It greatly benefits from the adjacent Ooera hotel. The red hôtel as such is not worth.

Fantastic location we were upgraded to new rooms on 5th floor which were very good.
Location brilliant near to everything.
Manager was very good always asking how our stay was and if any problems he could solve. Definitely would come back again and very good pool and breakfast.
Older rooms are as not as good as what we had

The location was good as it was near to the city centre.
The rooms weren’t cleaned regularly and we had to go out of our way to get new towels. The staff would often talk down to us and weren’t helpful. The facilities were not the best either. The bathroom door locks did not work in any of the rooms.

The staff was friendly and they have an elaborate breakfast buffet so there’s something to like for everyone.
The receptionist demanded we leave a 350 euro deposit for our room (which was almost the room pricr itself), even though the terms and conditions mentioned a deposit of 50 euros. We even overheard her ask 400 euro deposit from another guest, so we felt that we were being scammed pretty badly. We got the deposit back in the end but requesting a deposit that is almost the same price as the room and asking different deposits from other guests seems very suspicious.

Very friendly staff and very helpful
Accommodation right near the train station and not far from city centre.
Breakfast was excellent and room and beds very nice
Suggestion to to add in their brochures for excursion they provide ( but I think every hotel should do that) is that a lot of these guides are not being paid by the company. They ( guides) therefore in advance tell you on theatric to pay you for example 30 or 70 Dh. Personally I would tip a guide anyway but I noticed that a lot of guests felt a bit overwhelmed forbade huide to ask them for money as they thought they get paid by the company and therefore it’s included in the price of the trip. They are not, this little money isvactuslly their salary for the tour. You’ll seevtyat a loting times they live in the area. Hotels should be more vigilant with tijdvakken explain the clients they need to pay an ‘extra’ small amount there to the tour guide. I understood but I could tell some of the guests did not andbits embarrassing for the tour guide to ask for that small amount when the tour is finished although he / she explained at forehand that this is the case.
Another suggestion:
Also the tour arbutus Berber village at the big waterfalls was great but the place where they serve the lunch in my opinion, should be changed. Down by the water boats the food is excellent but the place in this tour that is chosen to have lunch with is a bit commercial and the food is awful. Was not impressed.with that when I saw it. Sill ate it but my daughter and I still are still running to the loo after a day.
They can do much better

I have been coming here for many years so i do see positive changes:
The staff is very professional, always with a smile and ready to help.
The new manager Mohamed is also a very proactive managar towards the guests, this is really a plus !
And offcourse the location is the best.
Nothing, i am planning my next visit again.

Most of the staff is great. The hotel is a dual price facility. The Red Hotel is the lower end, Opera Plaza Hotel is the better end. The two are different wings of the same building, sharing amenities. Opera serves large groups. Smaller groups are in Red. They serve a generous breakfast that is included.
I stayed in the Red Hotel, the lower end. They cater to one night stays. I had to be there 3 nights as I was waiting for delayed luggage. They don't tell you that water (you can't drink tap water) is only included on the first night. And, there is no provision for water within the hotel - no store and no one tells you anything about policies.
I booked the hotel because it is across the street from the bus and train station. It is a 20 minute taxi ride to anywhere else, and there is little around the hotel.

The Red Hotel staff is superb. The breakfast was excellent, with omelettes and Moroccan crepes and pancakes made to order. The only negative thing was that the room air conditioning is set to work on a seasonal schedule, so it could not be turned on until May 1. This is a problem in Marrakesh, where the temperature can be very high well before May 1. The room was borderline uncomfortable, but I was exhausted enough that I managed to sleep. Opening the window is not an option, as the street noise is very, very loud.
Possibility of using the air conditioning in the room. Also, the pool was out of service.
3.0
The room was relatively clean, besides small blood stains on the sheet.
The staff members were very rude. I was in kind of a hurry and trying to get orange juice at the breakfast, and a guy (about 5'9/175cm, 50 y/o, wearing a blue suite) who works for the hotel, putting glasses in front of the orange juice jar, asks me aggressively (first in French): "do you not know how to wait?" When he saw that I stood my ground he tried to laugh it off with "are you angry?" To which I said "are you?" As a piece of context, I'm east Asian. There's little reason to get so aggressive in such a situation for a server at a hotel breakfast buffet, when he only had to pause a couple seconds for a customer to get some orange juice, I think, beside the possibility that the server was racially bigoted and hateful. He saw an Asian looking customer, and thought he could bully him around.
Furthermore, the hotel doorman participates in the taxi's price scam. I rode the taxi many times not only in Marrakech but all around Morocco. The doorman, however, after helping me get a taxi, told me that a ride to the airport cost 100 mad. I was surprised that he was in with the scam, and tried to confirm with him that the price wasn't actually cheaper. And he looked me right in the eye and acted surprised: "what do you mean? 100 is the right price to go to the airport." I didnt try to argue further--it's only ten bucks anyways--but laughed while thinking that such was an utter ridiculous way of treating a customer.
So at Red Hotel we have dishonesty, unprovoked aggression, potential racism--and I was only there for one night, and encountered these things within the span of one hour, who knows what more they've got to offer. I therefore do not recommend this place.

The room was clean . The breakfast was good . The reception staff were quite efficient . A decent stay overall.
They didn't mention before I booked that the swimming pool is undergoing maintenance . I booked a room with an open balcony view as shown on the pictures but I got a room with a window view which was pretty upsetting. Besides , the entrance to the hotel is through another hotel around the corner which wasn't so pleasant.

The location of the hotel was very good because it was in the city centre near a lot of attractions and the room was very clean. It was cleaned every day. The staff did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. They even helped book some of our tours.
It was quite noisy at times because there were works going on above our room.
