Auberge de jeunesse bien pour un passage court, et si besoin de prendre des bus !

- Personnel très très sympathique et accueillant, à l'écoute et donne des renseignements - Petit déjeuné typique Costa Rica offert le matin - Ménage fait tous les jours dans le logement - Beaucoup de douches et toilettes - 4 petits chats vivent dans l'auberge (c'est bon à savoir peur ceux qui sont allergiques ou n'aiment pas les chats) - Petit espace extérieur - Proche de certaines station de bus

- Le quartier n'est pas très intéressant, voire même rassurant, c'est éloigné de l'avenue centrale, à pied comptez minimum 20 minutes aller. - Les matelas seraient à changer, pas très confortables...

Perfect verblijf voor een nachtje San Jose

Zeer behulpzame host, hielp meteen met het uitzoeken van de bus die we de volgende dag moesten nemen. Wij boekten een privekamer, deze was ruim en proper. De gemeenschappelijke keuken was goed onderhouden en uitgerust.

It was okay for 1 night

24 hour reception, friendly service and many clean bathrooms.

For what they offer for a private room, I felt the price was high. It would be nice if they provided towels for private rooms. Our room was right next to a busy street, which made it hard to fall a sleep.

Decent place

This place is good if you stay one night in San Jose before taking the bus to another location. Close to the bus stop. There are many showers and toilets so you never have to wait.

There are no fans in the rooms. The bedrooms was a bit shady.

Wunderschönes Hostel, super nette Bewirtung, ich war zwar nur sehr kurz da aber hab mich direkt sehr wohl gefühlt, die G

Die Zimmer waren wirklich gut, das Konzept mit den Katzen ist wirklich schön und süß und das Personal ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett. Zum beispiel ging mein Bus bei der weiterreise um 3 Uhr morgens, und die Gastmutter hat mir trotzdem von sich aus noch ein Frühstück für mich mitten in der Nacht vorbereitet

Recomendable !

La ubicación estaba genial ya que estaba muy cerca de la terminal de Grupo Blando y a 15’ de los autobuses que van al aeropuerto. El chico de recepción le atendió perfectamente desde el principio ayudándome en todo lo que necesitaba saber y muy simpático! Muchos gatitos pequeños, zona de fumadores y muy bien respetado el horario de sueño. El desayuno incluido muy rico! La cocina muy equipada y el wifi iba genial . Supermercados cerca así como cajeros y tiendas

La cama era algo incómoda por qué el colchón estaba algo antiguo creo ya que era muy finito y se hundía en el centro

Muy buen hostal en zona mala

El hostel tiene muy buena vibra por los gatitos que tienen. El muchacho de la recepción es muy amable y ayuda con absolutamente todo! Tienen café todo el día y muy buen desayuno 5-9am. Es muy cerca de casi todos los terminales que ustedes podrían utilizar para sus viajes en Costa Rica o buses internacionales.

Fue mi segunda vez en este hostal y esta vez me pareció un poco sucio - las duchas y los baños. También había mucho ruido durante la noche por algunos huéspedes hablando y riéndose en las áreas comunes. Sería bueno tener horas de silencio porque la mayoría de gente madruga temprano para coger los buses en la madrugada. También toca tener cuidado en el barrio porque es peligroso y no importa si es en el día o la noche.. no parece que pasan cosas graves pero si vienen con sus pertenencias mejor tomar un taxi hasta la puerta.

Die Gegend ist nicht sehr schön, scheint nicht die schönste und sicherste für San José, es gibt keinen Aufenthaltsbereich draußen

Great backpacker hostel

A great hostel to spend a night or two in San José. Close to most bus terminals, woth a nice social and big common area, several dorms and bathrooms. Breakfast is simple but good, there is free coffee in the morning. The staff is wonderful and helps wherever they can. And their cats are absolutely adorable.

Muy Justo para su precio

Baños limpios, hay lockers pequeños para las cosas de valor y hay gatitos.

La cama me resultó incómoda y no había cortinas o algo para aislarse de los compañeros de habitación, tampoco lockers en el mismo cuarto por lo que la gente tiraba sus cosas por el suelo. Los locales me comentaron que la zona era mala y peligrosa y que no debía caminar mucho por allí.

Excelente hostel

Tudo perfeito desde o início, recepção e o Michael(voluntário) sempre atencioso e o hostel fica a 5 minutos do termonal Ticabus. Agradeço a equipe pelo atendimento e é realmente um excelente hostel.

Best place to stay

Very good location when you are traveling by bus. I arrived at night at Transnica station and walk to the hostel (5minutes). I felt safe. The hostel is very cute und there are some cats. ;) The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the breakfast good.

Perfect for a quick night in San Jose before continuing on to the better parts of the country

The location was great as it was close to terminal 7-10 which provides easy access to La Fortuna and other places you can get to by bus. The breakfast was a traditional Costa Rican breakfast of Gallo Pinto and eggs. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A problem I have with most hostels is there’s no where good to keep your bags in the dorm rooms, especially for the top bunks.

- A lot of cockroaches in the kitchen - Bed was extremely saggy. Although I am not a very heavy girl, it was quite uncomfortable.

Pay $5 more and stay somewhere that you can sleep and feel comfortable

Location, it’s in walking distance from the bus terminals. Staff are very helpful and friendly

Beds are really bad, pillows and mattresses are very old and almost washed out, the upper beds are hard to access since the ladders are in 90 degrees, rooms don’t have AC or proper ventilation, so very stuffed. Extremely noisy, our room was sandwiched between two bathrooms so all I was hearing was toilet flushes and farts to the morning, people kept talking outside the room until about 12:00 am that made it impossible to fall sleep.

close to the bus station, feels safe in a not so safe area, quite basic but good vibes bc of the nice stuff

Superb

It was super clean and we felt very welcomed. It was easy to find and the bus terminals were in a walkable distance.

Spanish skills could be usefull. for arrival at nighttime I'd recommend a cab, since the area doesn't seem as welcoming as this hostel.
