I'm a daily walker. At home, I have access to an indoor track. I wasn't relishing walking outdoors, in Houston, in July. But the location of this townhome/duplex was across the street from a shaded and paved trail that went for miles. Location was terrific.

My sister was the first to arrive; I joined her two days later. My sister arrived at check-in time and found the housekeeper still there. The housekeeper left soon after and (I'm guessing) she did not have time to finish with the cleaning. I say this because our bath towels were still in the dryer, the downstairs toilet had not been cleaned, the kitchen towels were dirty (they had signs of a spaghetti meal), and the kitchen floor needed to be mopped. My sister texted the number provided and sent pictures. Someone dropped clean kitchen towels to her and a container of Clorox wipes. This was not a good start. We could not totally relax as the cleanliness of the home was questionable. My sister asked that the cleaning fee be reimbursed to me (I paid for the stay) and the gentleman who responded to her text assured her that he would reach out to me the following day. It is now five days later and I have not heard from anyone to discuss the matter.

Breakfast N/A, quiet neighborhood, vert clea. I would suggest a pest control service because we saw some roaches, and. bugs, in the garage there were ants probably due to the garbage can.
