Very comfortable, beautiful and clean room! It is absolutelt a value for money! The location is quite central with a lot of breakfast choices around and just a breathe away from Alsancak where you can find literally everything, restayrants, bars, cafes, nightlife, shopping! The hotel is great but the 5-star review is because of the staff and especially Soner!!! Soner made our stay there way more easy and pleasant. He is by far the most helpful and kind guy we have ever met!! He suggested us places to visit, eat and drink and he even helped us to order pizza at the hotel the first day we arrived there and we were really tired. Imagine yourself walking around the whole day and when you return back to the hotel finding someone who is willing to welcome you , listen to your experiences and ready to suggest things to do the next day. It's like you are staying at a friend's place. Soner thank you for everything! We absolutely recommend this place and we hope we come back one day!

Staff Room clean and spacious

The personel was extraordinary friendly anf kind, their English was absolutely gorgeous. They'd been waiting for us till we arrived, and helped with the parking. The room was clean, comfortable and chilly to stay after a hot road trip. The coffee, tea, and water options were so sweet! Condition was working great, so I fell asleep really easy. The bathroom was nice and clean.

The staff were super helpful and kind! We lost our luggage in the airport, and they help us to contact with the airlines. Also, they recommended good food and prepared tea and coffee for us any time! When we stuck in the road, they help to park the car. We’ll definitely come back if we visit Izmir again!

I cannot begin to describe how amazing the staff is. The guys at reception were extremely helpful, caring and welcoming. Bright, clean lobby and lots of seating out front. The room was very clean, and it looks like it had been renovated recently. Great location, very close to the Culture Park and within walking distance from the center. They offer free tea and coffee at all times. Overall, absolutely unbeatable at the price we paid.

They don't offer breakfast, unfortunately (but there are lots of places to get food nearby). Parking can be difficult during weekdays, as there are hospitals nearby and it's a busy area.

Everything was perfect and great. Staff and the owner were very helpful & friendly. The hotel manager offered and drove us 20 minutes to the spa as there was no taxis available as it was raining. Will definitely book again if in the area.

- Good location, walking distance to the centre and the main spots in 15-20 mins, such as the Kemeralti bazaar, Konak Square, Basmane train station (for trips to Ephesus and Sirince) and the Alsancak district (nice modern district with many restaurants and bar options). - The breakfast was alright for me, albeit I can imagine it can be slightly disappointing for some.

- The hotel is generally poorly maintained/managed. The first room we were offered was very cold, as the aircon heating had not been turned on before our arrival (our trip was in November), but the main problem was that the window could not be completely shut (I assume due to the way it had been mounted) and there was a constant draft coming through. So, we were offered another room. However, with this new room we were struggling to insert the key every time we wanted to lock/unlock the door (it seems the door handle and lock had been recently installed, as the door to our first room could simply be opened with a card). Ironically, one of the windows in our new room could also not be completely shut and you could feel the draft and see water leaking in when it was raining heavily outside. In addition, cleaning was offered only once throughout our 5 days stay (on the day before leaving) and there was no bin in our room except for a small one in the bathroom. When we wanted to dispose of some of our garbage, we asked the receptionist where to put it and were told any bin outside on the street (facepalm). Taking into consideration price-quality, in my opinion it is quite expensive for what you get. - Overall, our stay for a few days was ok but also disappointing at the same time. I would additionally like to point out to readers here that it seems that this issue of hotels that are poorly maintained/managed, while at the same time being quite pricey for the quality that you get, seems to be a problem that plagues this city. This is based on reviews of other hotels I have read before making my mind up and at least our stay at Punta Vista Hotel was passable, I have read some reviews of other hotels around town that were shocking... Finally, I think that any receptionist should at least be able to know the options to get to the airport, never mind the main sights in the region (Ephesus, Sirince, Cesme), without shrugging their shoulders and answering: Taxi?
