non pleasant check in, staff was not able/willing to spek another language than German, let us wait too long and even argued that we don't have the reservation even when we showed them their hotel confirmation...

The entire hotel was super clean and the room was bright and modern. The breakfast was delicious and there is a restaurant on site.
Breakfast is served beginning at 8, which could be too late for travellers looking to get an early start.

The hotel is beautifully located on the river bank, close to the old town. The surroundings are very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
The design of the room is a bit outdated. There was no complimentary water for the guests.

Very good position. It is easy to come to the old city center. There is a playground not far away. Parking was very great. Breakfast was also very ok. The room itself was of good size and it was enough space for 2 adults +2 kids. Clean and comfortable. We can advice this place and we will choose to stay there again if we visiting the town.

Room cleaned every day. Two wardrobes so loads of storage. Apartment with sitting area. Excellent view of river and towers of Bautzen. Very easy parking. Beer garden. Excellent breakfast with both hot and cold food including smoked salmon, fruit and cold cuts. Within easy walking distance to the town. Some staff spoke good English.

This hidden gem is close to the old town, nestled on the bank of a river and is easy to find. Only two minutes from the Esso and easy parking, even in a big vehicle. Restaurant was too cute and their house biers were delightful. Rooms were spacious, clean and warm on a snowy night.
No elevators and many stairs between rooms, breakfast nook and restaurant. Not a good fit if traveling with disabled persons. Walls between room 14 and 15 allowed conversational voices to be heard from the other room.

Hotel is located in very beautiful place - on the river coast, with the amazing view of old town with castle and the old stone bridge. This hotel is run by the family, so I felt very welcomed and cared for.

The view from the hotel of the old town of Bautzen was outstanding. The hotel has a lot of character.
The location was great but the walk up to the old town was taxing on these old 70 year old legs. Not a fault of the hotel I just should have paid more attention. C

Perfectly located on the Spree bike trail, short but steep way to downtown Bautzen, beautiful beer garden plus brewery in the house was just perfect. The friendly staff and abundant breakfast added to the experience.

This old age charm next to the Spree river was enjoyable. The view of the old town with its stone walls was exciting. Food dishes to compliment the beer that they brew was also and enjoyable experience. Just the place to visit if you want to enjoy warmth and comfort during a cold winters night.
