+ unglaublich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. + sehr schönes Zimmer mitten im Urwald :-) +++ bei uns ist aufgrund eines Stromausfalles die AC kaputt gegangen, worauf wir direkt in einen anderes Zimmer hätten wechseln dürfen. Als "Wiedergutmachung", obwohl niemand etwas dafür konnte, wurden wir vom Hotel auf ein Nachtessen eingeladen und die AC direkt am Folgetag ersetzt. Ausserordentlich zuvorkommender Service

- die Lage befindet sich 10 Autominuten ausserhalb vom Zentrum von Ubud. Mit einem GRAB-Taxi für umgerechnet ca 3.50 Euro jedoch problemlos und zu jeder Zeit machbar.

Die Zimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet und sauber. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal! :) Zum Frühstück können wir das Nasi Goreng empfehlen - das Beste was wir auf unserer 3-wöchigen Reise hatten! Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb Ubuds, was uns aber vorher bewusst war. Die Straße ist recht schmal, weshalb einige Taxifahrer etwas verunsichert sind - unsere Grabfahrer sind aber immer bis zum Hotel gefahren. Das Grab ins Zentrum kostet circa 60k. Aktuell (10/2023) wird dort viel gebaut, was uns aber angekündigt wurde und uns nicht gestört hat, da wir eh den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren.

Der Pool ist recht klein und neben die Rezeption gequetscht, aber für eine kurze Abkühlung reicht es vollkommen aus.

Personeel is super vriendelijk en de kamers zijn zeer proper en mooi. Het verblijf is op 5-10 minuten (met scooter) gelegen van Ubud centrum. Het verblijf is afgelegen en het is er heel rustig. Als je iets wilt boeken kan je dat altijd via hen doen voor een voordelige prijs en ze staan altijd klaar om je te helpen. Het is een aanraden, zeker het geld waard!

Rien à dire ! Le personnel est juste incroyable et d’une extrême gentillesse. Nous avons même assisté aux deux ans d’anniversaire de l’hôtel et nous ont offert un apéritif et repas alors que cela devait rester pour les employés. Si nous avons la chance de revenir à Ubud, nous reviendrons à cette hôtel

The moisture in the room was too high, and it smelled like mold. It would have been a lot better if the room was fitted with a dehumidifier. We've seen those present in other hotel rooms on the island and the problem was solved.

It was AMAZING and I really loved every moment of it. The villa is very pretty and comfortable, and everything is approachable from a bike. Coming to the best part, I have travelled across the world but never came across a staff as amazing as the one here. My wife and I literally loved their hospitality and how they went out of their way to help us so many times. Ratih especially is just so so delightful and so is Komang and all other people too. I would recommend it to everyone.

Just the approach road is tricky in the first visit but it's nothing to sweat about.

If you are looking for a peaceful stay, away from the hustle bustle. Compass Rose Is the place to be in Ubud. It's a lovely boutique resort with a cozy atmosphere. The staff will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The room ambience makes you feel that you stay for long duration. The facilities are exactly the one showed in pictures.

The staff were exceptional! There was 24hrs of torrential rain and flooding so we couldn’t book a taxi to get us to a wedding. The manager drove us himself, which took an hour and a half each way! The rooms were clean and great value.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming, they truly make effort to look after their guests so well. Due to a flight delay we didn't arrive until 3am but we let them know beforehand and it was no problem for someone to meet us and check us in. Beautiful forest location, view from the balcony is green trees. We got a free upgrade! Lovely breakfast, delicious dinners as well. This hotel is just outside of the busy Ubud town centre but we used the app Grab for booking transportation to and from town. The pool was great. It was very quiet apart from a few local roosters haha. Not a problem though. Would definitely stay again.

there is a small and narrow road on the way to the hotel, a big challenging for drivers, just have to let them know beforehand. the bathtub plug wasn’t working at the beginning but got fixed in a day after we went out, appreciate the efficiency.

Very friendly and attentive service. Fast communication. All needed information was also sent via whatsapp, which was very convenient. Prepared ginger-lemongrass tea for my ill husband. Breakfast was good and delivered to the room. Things to know before: Massage will take place in your room in your bed. We would not have booked massage this way, if we had known in advance, as the relaxation part was missing (no music, no comfortable place to hold your head). Although the massage therapists were good. I personally would suggest to dine out, as there are so many great places around with fantastic food. Restaurant Garlic Butter chicken satay was served quite cold and with not much flavor. My husband had babi kecap and he liked it. It is possible to do your laundry there and is it very convenient. In general we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice and clean accommodation with friendly staff and a fair price. Especially the restaurant upstairs was beautifully set up for it to be enjoyable to sit there for long times and relax.

There's not a lot nearby that would be reachable by foot and car's can't really drive directly to the hotel as well.

The staff were the most attentive and polite I have ever encountered in a hotel - 5 stars! Good breakfast in a lovely setting. Located slightly outside of Ubud, which for us was a bonus as it was very quiet and peaceful.

We were there as a couple. Everything was perfect. Sadly, I can't give more as 10, but they definitely earned more better reviews. The staff was incredibly nice, kind, and helpful. We never got this hospitality before. The area was very peaceful and quiet. They organised us a flower bath, which my wife was really happy about. We also had floating breakfast, which was an unforgettable experience .The hotel absolutely gave the maximum, or even more, what we wanted. The facility and the rooms are beautiful and sparkling clean. We stayed in the junior suite, which gave us perfect privacy. This place definitely exceeded the expectations based on the description. It was definitely unforgettable!
