Location good for ski lift, hikes and walk into village

Beds very narrow, bedroom more like a broom closet but that is French for you. Glad we had an apartment for 6 and stayed with 4 adults but second bedroom with bunkers was more for young children Tiny kitchen. No mugs or teapot available. You need to leave it cleaned but no utilities to clean with. Not even a starter pack with washing up liquid, soap, dishwasher tablets for first day. It’s the little things.

Great trip away with 5 ladies - we will go back to Samoens but need a bit more luxury.

Location is fab - close to lift/ski hire and a couple of bars/boulangerie. Walk into town isn't too far and worth it on at least market day.

Not many restaurants open in Town - need to book in advance. Not a lot of apres ski in the town.

Good apt, would visit again.

Excellent location, very close to bottom of slopes. Samoens is a small town with lots of amenities. Apt had ski lockers which was good. Dishwasher was good to have too. 5 of us stayed in a 3 bed apt, lots of space. Typical ski resort apt, fairly basic but has everything you need. We would stay again.

Convenient location. Very close to the center of town and the ski lift for the Grand Massif.

Kitchen should be refreshed and renovated. We chose to cook our dinners most evenings. The oven did not work properly. The pillows in the bedrooms also should be replaced.

Great stay, great skiing, good to be back on holidays again :)

The owner was extremely helpful, especially on the last day when we needed somewhere to store bags for 3 hours, helped with that and took the bags over for us, which was great. The location is perfect, 5min walk to main lift, 7 minutes to centre of town. Great views too and a massive balcony. Locker room as expected, warm too. Didn't use the games room but looked spacious.

Bit sparse on kitchen utensils, no corkscrew for example, but enough to cook with anyway. The bunk room would not be suitable for a large man. Overall though no actual complaints, very impressed with the place and the owner. Word of warning though, the restaurants are ridiculously booked, ski area wasn't even busy but could not get a table for love nor money even with 4 days notice, book before you go if you want an evening meal.

Basic but comfortable appartment at walking distance from main lift. Great value for money!

Great location, only a few mins walk to the Gd Massif Express Although basic appartment there was more than enough space in the appartment for our family and everything was very clean. Bathroom was renewed recently and strong, hot shower was very enjoyable after a long day ski. Although the site said no Wifi there was Wifi in the appartment. The value for money was superb and service of staff was good. We had to reschedule our arrival by a day due to a funeral in the family and they accomodated without discussion. They also ensured we could arrive late in the evening. We did not use, but there also seems to be a common space in one of the buildings were you can eat together with bigger groups and play some table football etc.

Superb

Perfect location. Wonderful place at the bottom of the mountain. Very well furnished appartment Very nice staff. The swimmingpool with viewon the mountains

Pleasant

Location was good, the village also had activities for after skiing and if the slopes are closed due to the weather, other activities in the town were available, mostly free of charge.

Having to pay extra for bedding/sheets/towels, having to pay more for cleaning items such as bin bags and washing up liquid, having to clean the apartment before leaving and ensuring it was the same standard as when we arrived. (Having to do this early hours of the morning to catch an early flight without making too much noise in respect of the other guests in the building was quite difficult)

hotel overall provides all necessary for your stay and eventual cooking at home quite close to the ski lifts, at a walking distance

the bed linen as well as cleaning service are not included in the price any service on top is being paid, so it makes the price of the apartment and area not attractive anymore
