great location and spacious

very run down for the price we paid! needs some attention

Kitchen utensils and furniture is bit worn out

Close to beach but renovations blocked access

Aircon broken. Unbearably hot in Qld summer. No one could sleep. Unable to contact “service” people. Not answering phone or txt. Moved out after 1st night of 6 night stay. Refusing to refund booking.

Company was a disgrace to deal with. Had to go on what seemed like a treasure hunt to find the keys. $7500 accomodation and the apartment was filthy, was not set up for kids as the down stairs door did not lock properly and if pushed on it opened so kids had to sleep in my bed. When i contacted the property managers they suggested i use the key!!! Obviously i had tried this. Most doors and windows were eroded from salt and locked so bedrooms were like an oven. Split system and spas did not work. Power points etc hanging out of walls. Oven and range hood did not work. And some sort of loud motor (air conidtioner) noise was very very loud and went all night. Wall missing in cupboard giving kids access to pipes etc in the wall. The private pool that came with the property was not private at all so we were looking at strangers outside the door. I will never stay at this property again or go through the company.

the location was wonderful and the ease of collecting and retuning the keys was fab.

- the couch collapsed when I sat on it one of the main reasons for choosing this property was for the kitchen / cooking facilities as we were travelling as a family … - the bbq on offer didn’t have a gas bottle - the kitchen wasn’t fully equipped for cooking a full meal, the toaster was broken and blew the fuse - I understand we had to take our own amenities but we’ve always had at least a small starter pack for leaning for example, a dishwasher tablet etc to help with the cleaning process… had to purchase bulk lots of cleaning products for a four night stay - apartment doesn’t look like the photos

The location of this apartment and the number of bedrooms stood out with this property. The kitchen and the bathrooms were fabulous.

Having to walk another 40 minutes (there and back)to get the key was not funny when you have 2 small children and 1 grandma (me) tired from travelling. The lock up should have been at the property if the agents in charge couldn't meet us. Other than the kitchen and bathroom, this apartment is tired. It needs a good quality renovation. There was holes in the wall and a lot of marks, laminate missing from inside the cupboards, tiger head missing from the pool wall and sitting on the steps.

It was not equipped or "premiere' for the cost we paid. Very substandard facilities, the lift broke down every day mainly between 8.00am and 2.00pm, the facilities were tired old/broken cupboards/handles/doors/walls/curtains/ shower rails/some power points didnt work etc, there were very few china/cutlery to use for 5 people for meals, there were no plates/trays etc for nibbles, there was no BBQ for the pool area, the spa at the pool didn't work. we had broken glass on the carpet and on the pool stairs (fortunately the new managers came to clean the carpet).

The views were great. Unit was clean and spacious.

The unit is run down, fair amount of mould, some of the furniture was broken so for a family of 6 and 1 lounge due to other not being stable wasn’t pleasant to be able to relax.

The proximity to Cavil Ave

Was dirty. Zero response or engagement from property managers when complaints were raised. There was food in the fridge so clearly the property had not been cleaned.

location in surfers and proximity to the beach and the view are the only good things about this place.

this apartment is very old. feels like you’ve stepped back into the 90s. we couldn’t even use the toaster since it would short circuit the whole apartment. you won’t even find salt and pepper in this apartment just the bare minimum. found two giant months and a cockroach though. water pipe would sound like someone was beating a drum outside your window. had to get up through the night to try tighten the tap or do something to help with the noise. there are holes and the whole apartment has unfinished elements to the walls etc. no curtains only Venetian blinds if you like getting up at the crack of dawn. was still a ten minute walk into the hub of surfers paradise.

the views were amazing and how open the lounge area is.

The apartment is in a great location, very spacious with amazing views of the beach. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment was nice and clean.

TV is too small for the room. There was very limited cleaning supplies. Only a small sachet of detergent and no dishwashing tablets. No broom, would have been good to have something to sweep up sand from the beach. Windows in the lounge area need to be cleaned.

Location

Presentation of the apartment was fair at best. Several "deficiencies" need to be rectified, interior/exterior condition dated, pre-booking photos not fair representation of what we were renting. (Several current photos will be uploaded for others to view prior to booking).

Location is great. Good size apartment. View are great.

I didn’t want to complain but we were so disappointed in the apartment for several reasons that we raised on arrival and were not resolved. I’m being honest so others aren’t as disappointed as we were. We picked up the keys, cleaners were still in the apartment. It stunk of bleach but most surfaces were still dirty. Only seating for two on the balcony. Lots of mould, chipped walls, broken things. TV needed tuning. There was no heating at all and when we contacted management, they delivered two blankets the next day that we shared between the six of us. Pool was ok, but spa not working. Rusty furniture. Overall, it was ok, but just no where near the standard we expected based on the photos, cost and information.

the view and lounge room was very nice. access to the beach and facilities.

- the lifts didn’t work upon arrival, which is fine as these things happen but the communication with the agency was terrible. all through text message. - July is still winter. we had sheets and thin blankets. felt like we were in a youth hostel with a great view. we were freezing. no warmth at all in the apartment. no heater and no additional blankets. very basic offerings and certainly not worth the price we paid. - the TV set up did not work. we managed to connect to internet thanks to the IT help that did answer the phone (unlike the reception). but we had to connect through the apartment above. - the apartment glass doors were still not quality and did not completely shut out the outside noise.
