Gorgeous location, well-appointed rooms, lovely breakfast.

The room was spacious and beautiful, and the continental breakfast was of exceptional quality (lots of fresh fruit, berries, yogurt, high quality baked goods); there’s also a barista on staff to make you a real latte or cappuccino which was a welcome touch. The location right on the water was lovely, and the fire pit was a nice touch (watch out when it’s windy).

There’s no sidewalk, so if you want to pop over to the place next door for seafood (which to be fair is meh at best but I arrived quite late after a long drive and was being pragmatic) you have to walk on the side of the road in an area where this seems to cause suspicion. It would be nice to extend the boardwalk area a bit so travelers could stretch their legs and enjoy the view without taking their lives into their hands.

I felt like I was away and was able to relax in style!

First of all, Taylor was so welcoming and proud of the New Shoals establishment. The place had such a wonderful, nautical luxurious vibe. The room was expertly appointed and the amenities were excellent. The view and the rustic feel in/near a marina was a plus. I can't wait to go back in the summer for the food truck and Oyster Happy Hour!

To someone coming off a days journey by boat this place would look like Shangri-La

the exceptionally appointed suites were reflected by a beautiful marina and grass covered lawn.

An enjoyable stay, high end and pricey for a Mon. to Wed. part of the week.

The breakfast was delicious; muffins, granola, yoghurt, bagels, fruit, was healthy and generous. Coffee and tea of course. I did not, however, see that they had decaf. And cream cheese would have been good for the bagels. Perhaps I just didn’t see it. Beautiful landscaping, great views.

The room tv was mounted too high, so if you were sitting, and were of average height you had to keep your neck craned to watch. The bed was ultra comfortable, but the bedroom dimensions were tight.

Loved the area, and the hotel was very centrally located

The hotel was clean and in a great location!

We loved all of the extra detail like the Adirondack chairs looking over the water and Most rooms had a nice outdoor seating area. They had a nice coffee and breakfast set up in the morning and the hotel was overall well designed and a very nice stay. For those who like yoga they even do a morning yoga class by the water!

Love the quick little breakfast. everyone was so accommodating and the staff was incredible.

Walls are thin, people were playing loud music early and had to call and ask for shower amenties and towels.

Beautifully renovated hotel located on the water. The service was great. Cute gift shop in the boutique. Continental breakfast was small but satisfying. We will definitely be returning! Cannot wait!

Great stay, wish we could have stayed longer

It was great. Typical continental breakfast with croissants, muffins, fruits, coffee, tea, juice, and yogurt.

Our card key didn't work an hour before checkout and delayed us. The front desk reset our card but it didn't work and we had to go back and redo it again. The second time they gave us a new card and came with us. That resolved the issue.

nice but probably won’t return

New beautiful immaculate new rooms.

When booking it said no dogs allowed so we actually had to get someone to watch our very well behaved fur baby and then actually woke up all night from the two dogs that were in the room next door. upon checking in we were not told that the next morning there would be continental breakfast so we went to get breakfast somewhere and at checkout the staff asked if we had breakfast we knew nothing about. we said no we didn’t know. also when I booked and on checkin we stated it was our 35th wedding anniversary and nothing. note: a little bottle would have been nice placed in our room. with the amount we spent on the room it’s just something nice welcoming your guests. not a friendly kind of vibe there. also lots of empty rooms and we were placed upstairs no one to help with our bags and don’t forget next door to two dogs. note to staff: spread out your guests. also our room was off the Highway heard cars all night. not water view as stated on booking. you are actually in a marina not near one

place was empty on weekday before memorial day but yet would not consider giving us a room closer to water,

Shoals was the perfect get-a-way weekend!

Greenport is a quaint and charming town. The Inn was in a great location, as it sits on the Marina, next to a great restaurant, and just 5 mins from the heart of Greenport and about 5 mins from the heart of Southold, both of which offer lots of cool shops, breweries, wineries, farms and restaurants (more so in Greenport than Southold) We've gone to this Inn for years when it was called Heron Harbor Inn & Suites. It's ALWAYS been a great and consistently enjoyable stay. But now, as Shoals, after having been completely remodeled, it's FABULOUS!!! We will definitely go back. Hopefully, after spreading the word & leaving a great review, we will actually still be able to get a room. LOL

Wonderful!

There was no breakfast, but was given vouchers to use elsewhere. The rooms were brand new, very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The manager was very helpful and friendly.

No complaints.
