A perfect stay for a perfect leixure experience.

The property serves the best mountain view. It’s clean, homely and comfortable. The food here feels like home, coffee being the best. Also, the Owner of the property, Hanumant Bhai is a go to man for all stay needs. You demand, he will deliver.

I love it, nothing which I didn’t like.

Cozy guesthouse with nice food and great people!

We came to Sari village because we wanted to hike up to Deoria Tal lake and Chandrashilla, in Chopta (both stunning and well worth it). The location of Moon hotel is excellent as “base camp” for these treks. We had booked only one night but came back for a second night after Chopta because we felt very welcome by everyone. The food is good and warms you up after a day outside. The room is basic, clean and you can just ask the staff if anything is missing and they will help you. There is hot water, but no heating (which is normal in the village). Everyone at Moon is incredibly nice and kind, they really make this place. Thank you so much!

I think for the price we payed there isn’t much not to like. Don’t expect a hotel and make sure you have warm clothes, it is at around 2500m altitude.

Satisfied with our choice

Saari is a perfect spot for trekking to Tungnath and Deoriatal and Moon Hotel was exactly what we needed: basic accomodations, simple tasty meals, helpful staff.

A menu at the cafe would be helpful but staff prepared everything we asked for anyway.

Nice cozy stay in Sari near Deorital

Stay is located on Sari main road. Walkable distance to Deorital trek starting point. Host Hanumanth is very good. Takes care of your preference. He also suggests viable routes and transports.

Room size was good. But it had extra bed which makes very less space for walking. Charges for bonefire, that too in December should be discouraged.

A memorable and enjoyable experience.

The host, food, and our guide were exceptional. They attended to our needs and ensured our comfort. Our guide led us on the Deori Tal trek and kept us safe throughout the journey.

The location is amazing with a clear view of the Chandrashila peak. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The food that you get is simple but delicious and homely. Rooms are clean and there is plenty of greenery around which makes the stay really pleasant

The only minor inconvenience i would say is the Indian style toilet.

Serene location for a nice holiday

It's a very modest accommodation, not for people who want fancy stays..the location is awesome. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Dahrmendra and hanumant ji went out of their way to share their knowledge about the area and places to see. The home food was also superb. Overall, highly recommend for its location. If you have some mode of transport all the better as it's a little remote.

Affordable and enjoyable.

You can enjoy both sunset and sunrise from this property. Connectivity is not a problem because of the availability of shared jeeps/vans. And the people here are so helpful! They will help you with anything and everything. I spent two nights here and I enjoyed my stay. Value for money? Yes of course! Note: I saw someone write a review saying there is no geyser. You get geysers in every single room.

This not a high end hotel, expect minimal amenities. But you get everything you need anyway.

property is far from main road could not recognise it

nothing they don’t have geysers the bed sheet was not clean there is no balcony on top of that service is not good the property is worth giving just rs 350

mesmerising people with such pure heart Wich is rare to find in todays days and age.

The staff 2 brothers managing it and we’re very helpful. From making us trek the mountain making sure he stays with us throughout the journey and we ain’t lost anywhere just amazing.

Very good

Sunil, the host and his partners were exceptionally giving. The time and effort they contributed by organizing the trek to Tungnath Temple and Chandrashiela exceeded expectations. They sacrificed their sleep to get me and the other guests up at 1.45am so we can hike up to the peak and watch the sunrise. The view from the peak was breathtaking. I would never have explored this on my own. Well done to Sunil, Dharma and Hanuman for everything. The village is very serene with lots of other activities one can do. A must visit DESTINATION.

The mattress can be more comfortable :)
