A cheap place to stay close to activates.

The Inn (Motel) was conveniently located to Busch Gardens and Williamsburg VA. The bed was very good and firm. There's a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Nice shower.

The Inn was not refurbished lately and could use some modernization. The parking was right outside our door, which did not have any seal, so any noise from vehicles was heard inside the room. One evening one car kept blowing its horn for the car alarm. We were woke up at 3:30 in the morning by a diesel truck starting up right outside our door. On our last night when we returned to our room the door cards wouldn't work and we had to call a number to get the owner to come to the Inn and let us in. Apparently the cards were only programmed for 2 nights instead of 3.

NIGHTMARE INN

NOTHING

This place was disgusting. The sheets were filthy, with hair and what looked like mice or large bug droppings. I'm pretty sure it was mice because of the tiny grey hairs around the droppings.The outlets downstairs in the bedrooms did not work. It was so dark down there. The furniture was EXTREMELY soiled. The room smelled horrible. The mirror upstairs appeared to have body fluids on it and the shape of a large dildo smeared in the middle . The floors were dirty, the window would not lock, there was mold and hair in the tub. I can't share the video I made but I did snap two pics of the hair and droppings on the sheets. I had to leave and find another hotel at midnight. I was only in the room for an hour. I was so exhausted, suffering from a migraine. I cannot see well to drive at night, but I had no choice. I had to get the hell out of there!

If they cleaned up the mildew stuff, I’d come back.

Beds were comfortable, close to Water Country and other things, no bed bugs or bugs of any kind, because the A/C is so loud, you can’t hear anything outside of the room.

A/C is loud, hurt my foot going into the bathroom (there a small step up), room was musty (wet) until A/C kicked in, mildew-like substance around door and along ceiling of shower, bedding, A/C, and rugs could use an update, hairdryer was missing the back piece which I didn’t see until it sucked in and damaged my hair.

Overall this place was just horribly disgusting and dirty. It's like everything has a film on it.

The staff was super nice but that barely makes up for how disgusting the rooms are.

All the bedding had a sticky feeling and left residue on your skin that felt horrible. The towels were dirty one even had pubic hair on it. The pillows could not be used at all the horrible smell coming from them so we looked inside the pillow case to find the most nasty stained and filthy pillow ever so we checked the rest two of them had what appeared to be blood stains. The fridge temperature caused all of our food to spoil and the coffee pot had mild in the inside where the water goes. My 13 year old woke up with bites all over her legs , we didn't see any bugs but they definitely are there her legs looked so bad she had sooo many bites. I wish we would have known before we extended our stay a second night we didn't sleep there the first night the second well ..wish we hadn't .

My family didn’t sleep well we just felt uncomfortable and the rm just felt dirty we were glad to leave and won’t be bac

The first rm had a smell of mildew and dark the second one was a little better but won’t stay again. It wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be.

The beds are very uncomfortable it wasn’t clean and just made you feel dirty being in there .

The location and staff

There was only two towels and washcloths for a suite we had to ask for linens for the pullout that was uncomfortable the tvs in the bedroom didn’t have remotes the the bedroom ac units couldn’t be adjusted the carpets were discussing (dirty) the bedrooms and the bathroom smelt like a basement.

Hot mildew hell

Staff were friendly enough.

Horrific mildew smell!! We got in late and foolishly tried to stay despite the strong mildew odor and hot room. The AC units were set to 76 or so when we arrived (we did turn them down). The basement window unit did not cool the second bedroom, which did not have a window or any cooling feature. We only lasted two hours before literally leaving in the middle of the night with our four cranky, exhausted children. My nostrils were burning, my husband had trouble breathing, and neither of us could sleep with the mildew. We did not feel that the air was safe for our kids to breathe at all. This place should be condemned. Oh, and we clearly booked for six people, but there were only two bath towels. For real? How cheap can you get? We weren’t expecting luxury accommodations, but a towel for everyone on the booking seems pretty basic.

We arrived very late and the employee was still very friendly and pleasant, hotel was easy to find, clean room/bathroom Something I always look for in a review NO BUGS, NO BUGS, NO BUGS

The water didn't get HOT.. it was like a luke warm :(

Probably OK for those on a budget otherwise look elsewhere for newer more comfortable lodging.

Price. 2 bedrooms , full size fridge

Old carpet. Heating for basement where 2 bedrooms are located was in the hallway between the rooms. No vent fan for the bathroom.

Superb

The owners are very friendly and the prices are phenomenal. Location is nice since its right off the highway so every trip to Williamsburg or Norfolk was easy.

Rooms were clean but overall it's an older establishment with some small issues so it wasn't perfect.

the place was like turning the clock back to simpler, quiet times. the owners were wonderful! helpful and super friendly, extremely responsive. the place was super clean and comfortable. we stayed for a work trip and it was so nice to spend each evening away from noise and confusion, in such a clean comfortable refuge! we will be back!!!

Great out of the way place

Very surprised to see an apartment like setting. A little dated but very clean, comfy and convenient.

overall was a great stay for the price.

The location was close to everything, was clean, quiet, and everything worked fine (water pressure, heat/ac, tv etc.)

A bit dated and the bed was not that comfortable, very hard, not enough pillows.
