I walked with the stroller to downtown and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. We had the smokehouse for dinner and breakfast at a delicious nearby diner.

We stayed at this cozy location while staying locale to visit the zoo.
It is exactly as advertised. It is off the Main Street of the older part of town, which is quaint and not too busy. It is also right around the corner from a coffee shop!!!
Will definitely stay here again if when we head back to visit Seagrove or go to the zoo again.

We are moving from MD to SC and needed a place to stay for a few days and needed somewhere to relax. Exactly what this offered. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Family if 5 fit perfect and great for the price.

We stayed one night so we could get an early start to the Zoo the next day. Very pleased with this cute duplex unit. The owner was very nice & helpful. Clean & well stocked with towels, sheets, blankets, dishes coffee. Comfortable beds & a big sofa for all 5 adults to watch tv. Would absolutely stay here again. We really enjoyed it.

Stayed here as the first leg of our NC vacation. It was a perfect spot for crashing after the zoo. Fit our family of 6 comfortably. Appreciated the washer and dryer. Would stay again for the same purpose.

The place was very cozy and welcoming. No problems at all while we were there. Both beds and couch were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Kids enjoyed the TV and wi-fi. I think that housekeeper could do a better job on some areas. Dirty under beds, for example. Food/pet food from previous guests still in cabinets. Other than that, it was great. We had 7 people and there was more than enough room for everyone. Bathroom was nice. We enjoyed the fact that shampoo/conditioner and body wash were provided. Similar costs as nearby motels, but MUCH better. Family in the area, so we will definitely stay again.

The outside was a bit offputting. But the inside was recently redone with lovely flooring my 2 issues are that the kitchen sink was turned off. Possibly a leak as there was a bucket under the u pipe. At first it smelled lovely but soon we were overcome to the point i had to hunt out and unplug the frbreeze plug ins lastly the tub is extremely slippery needs a mat or the traction stickers

The owner/manager was very responsive and very accommodating. We were arriving after dark and I requested that some interior and exterior lights be left on which he happily did. The house is super clean and was perfect for our weekend stay!

Great place to stay while visiting the NC Zoo. I would recommend adding some check out instructions to the VRBO listing.

Communication with owner/manager was spot on, answered all questions and replied quickly. House is clean, cozy with everything you need from morning coffee to wifi! Would definitely stay again and recommend for anyone needing a comfy, clean get away!!!!

Good for the price!
Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was good for the price we paid,
To clarify, its not really a two bedroom, it's more of one bedroom with a large closet
Some of the Tupperware and glasses were not clean
Couch was extremely comfortable, could easily sleep 2 people well.
The overall location and property left us feeling uneasy at times, lots of sirens and cops went by, very close to the road, we heard a lot of loud vehicles drive by
Basic spices were provided, a good amount of pots but for cooking purposes you will need to bring your own oven trays and sheet pans
Very close proximity to the zoo, aviation museum, and motorcycle museum.
Modern tv with YouTube/Netflix etc
Owner maintained great communication
Plenty of towels were provided
Our group overall enjoyed our stay, and had a great time.

Perfect location!
In the center of Asheboro, convenient to the many assets of the center of town. Very clean and quiet w/ all the amenities one would need. The Biscuit Company is the best. Washer/Dryer a plus!

Convenient
We stayed for one night of our family road trip after visiting the NC zoo. It fit our family of 6 well because we don’t mind sharing some bed space. There is a very big TV in the living room which was nice when we were ready to rest in the evening. There was also a nice little restaurant down the road called “Something different”. I loved the location of this place, and it was easy to get back on the main route heading to WV.

It was the perfect landing spot.
Took the grands to the zoo. Came back to this great little crash landing spot We were hot , tired and hungry! The AC was perfect, the furniture comfy and Papa John delivered great pizza! Everything Nana needed to have a wonderful get away with her favorite people. And to say we had a super host, would be an understatement. Thanks, for everything!

The location was great. You’re only 10 minutes from the Zoo. The flea market’s and thrift stores were nice. We did find it kinda strange that there was no grocery store other than Walmart.
As for the duplex it was nice. There’s a couple things that need some attention. Appliances and etc… However, overall it was good. My best friend and I enjoyed our time together. Allen was quick to respond to our questions. I believe he lives in the duplex next door. Thank you Allen!

I own a rental so I really look at everything and try to give a thorough review so you know what to expect. This does not sleep 7 !!!
When we first arrived , pulled in driveway & saw that grass was not cut really?
The property is a stand alone duplex & maybe the owner lives next door?
Coded lock worked great! Enter into the living room which is open to dining room and kitchen. All very clean, floors look new. Very weird tile job but hey it’s just a place to sleep . Great!
I was there with my 2 sisters for 3 nights for a family event. One of my sisters snores so we were happy that her bed would be separate from ours.
Not really…. master king bedroom had connected door we thought was a closet but was a laundry room with a bed in it, so even when we closed the door she was right there and she felt very claustrophobic. My bad, description says 2 beds (but not 2 bedrooms)
To remedy situation we took twin mattress to dining room stuck a few sofa cushions on the floor and that worked. Suggest that bed be put there permanently for privacy.
King bed is a foam mattress with a foam topper comfortable at first but too soft after a few nights for me.
Layout is really good for 2 people and maybe a child you want to keep them close with bedroom door open. There is even a white noise machine if needed to sleep.
***THERE IS NO DRESSER TO PUT YOUR CLOTHES IN!
We had to open our suitcases in the living room in front of the house & walk back & forth to fetch our clothes. There is a closet off the living room to hang things.
Property needs a full length mirror please There was a mirror in pix but none when we got there.
Also bathroom vanity needs work veneer is ripped off on the side.
Plenty of towels! Great!!!
As I said great for 2 people!
David’s Diner is right around the corner, great food & you can walk if weather is good. We also went to Huddle House, great breakfast & in same mall there is Lowes grocery market. Lots of fast food places around too.A little over an hour from RDU. Easy drive!

We were very appreciative of the fact that this place was stylish, cute and very 14 month old friendly, spacious open areas for our grandson to play and very comfortable and relaxing place for the rest of us. Family loved the huge TV and the comfy couch...Cooked our meals there saving us money and enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Location was perfect for our day at the zoo and many shopping options nearby. Thanks for being a great Host and you have got Our seal of approval and recommendation to all our family and friends. Price was fine considering we were not stuck in a hotel room to "relax"
