About this house rental
Situated in Natchitoches, this attractive house for $918 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Directly across the river from Front Street and the Natchitoches Riverfront. This newly remodeled home has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests to spread out comfortably throughout an impressive 2700 square feet of living space, making it an ideal choice for a family or a group of close friends looking for the ultimate Natchitoches experience. This amazing home has everything you'll need to assure a comfortable stay, including wireless internet, cable, and 5 flat screen TV's Located within the Natchitoches Historic District, this relaxing retreat has been updated with rustic style and features an expansive entry/ kitchen area with plenty of seating at the island, dining table, and chairs. There are beautiful wide plank floors and rugs throughout the common areas and carpeting in the bedrooms. A beautiful spiral staircase winds it way to the downstairs floor where you will find a spacious den with a queen sleeper sofa, bar area with mini-fridge, big screen TV, bedroom and bath. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need to cook and create a magnificent meal. There is a five burner gas range top, 2 built in electric ovens, microwave, large refrigerator, dishwasher and plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils. The 3 bedrooms are large at 200-225 sq ft each and the master and downstairs bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a king size bed and feature Casper mattresses, luxurious linens and flat screen televisions. All the bedrooms have french doors that open out onto rear porches and the river. All three bathrooms have large walk in tile showers with bench seats. The bathrooms have plenty of storage space and are stocked with plush bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. The master bath also features a generous soaking tub. There are double vanities in each bathroom so everyone has plenty of room. A commercial sized tank-less water heater ensures that you will never run out of hot water. Outside, the rear porches both upstairs and down, run the width of the house at 60'. there are plenty of seating options, and it is a very relaxing spot for morning coffee. Behind the carport is a gorgeous new 16X27 deck with a patio table and chairs, charcoal grill. There is a private pier/boat dock at the river, and it is a great spot to get in a little fishing. There is parking for up to 6 vehicles in the circular driveway.

Every year we go to the Christmas light's festival and we have always wanted to stay at this property. The pictures are accurate and the location is perfect. We had an excellent experience and the view from the porches are spectacular. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the huge 3 bathrooms with double sinks and a large shower in each. The kitchen is huge and we enjoyed the ample counter place.

We were in town for a Thanksgiving Family Reunion and to celebrate my Grandmother’s life. I have spent so much time in Natchitoches over the years, and believe that outside of being in a boat this is the best location to see the Christmas fireworks show. You are literally in the Christmas lights. We have already reserved Thanksgiving 2024!

Three couples with 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, extremely functional kitchen, upstairs balcony running length of house + downstairs patio also running length of house = perfect. Walking distance to downtown. Dock would have been great if it hadn't been chilly & rainy. Loved being on the Cane River. The almond pound cake greeting us was yummy!

Best place to view the boat parade, Christmas lights along the waterway and fireworks!! Our group gathered on the back patio each night to take it all in. Easy walk to restaurants, museums and shopping. Host left a delicious cake as well. Would definitely stay here again

We truly enjoyed our stay at city view on the cane everyone was comfortable we walked to downtown , ate , shopped & it snowed down town. The fireworks were spectacular from the upstairs patio they seemed to last forever . We plan to make this a new holiday tradition, booking again for next year!

We could not have done better than booking this lovely property for my nephew’s graduation!
The house is stunning and very up to date with a large backyard that gently slopes down to the river. It’s a short walk across the bridge to the historic downtown area with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The host was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and really went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely incredible! THIS is the place to stay if you’re going to be in Natchitoches. I’ll definitely return again and again!!!

We enjoyed brunch on the deck and spent all morning watching boats pass from the Adirondack chairs on the dock. Check in and communication with the host was simple, they even left us a surprise treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to visiting again.

There are plenty of sitting areas outside (porches, decks, dock) so that you can enjoy the beautiful Cane River. My favorite place to relax was on the oversized swing looking across the river at the lights along Front St and the people walking along the riverfront. Restaurants & shopping only a short walk away. We always felt safe in the city. We watched the exciting New Year’s Eve firework display from the private dock & felt like we were royalty.
All the beds & pillows were comfortable. There were plenty of linens, so I never had to wash! The house was very clean. The home owners were extremely helpful & responsive. This Natchitoches experience was such a blessing. You won’t regret booking this home.

Wonderful stay
I rented this house so that my mom and her first great grandchild could visit for the first time. It was absolutely wonderful. The house is situated right on the Cane river with a beautiful view of the Christmas lights from the balcony and the downstairs patio (which has a full sized bed swing).
Because my mother is not in the best of health and my grandson is only one (too young to be vaccinated), we were very concerned for the cleanliness and condition of the house. The house was immaculate. The tiniest details were clean. The beds were extremely comfortable with quality linens. The house is high end and the quality of kitchen appliances, bathroom organization, bedroom furniture(carpet draperies, closet, etc) was impeccable.
The house is within walking distance (not for my wheelchair bound mom) to visit the boutiques and stores across the river. Maybe within a mile or 2 there are all the regular stores (Walmart) available. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from meatpies, to spaghetti,
cajun, and pizza. There is even a little coffee shop with a dragon. Yet, the house is nestled quietly on the bank of the river.
The pictures of the house are true to form. In fact, the pictures do not justify the beauty of the house.
The Louisiana charm is just oozing.
You won't be disappointed.
