THE SPACE The main living area is an open space that consists of a dining, living room with 65" TV and kitchen area. There is a full bathroom that has been recently updated and is very clean. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a TV. Upstairs is a spacious loft with two queen beds. This condo is comfy but spacious. KITCHEN: Fully equipped, brand new appliances, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cooking basics, dishware/flatware Please note: Although the condo is in the Mineral Springs Spa Resort community they have completely separate owners. We stayed in this two floor loft condo hosted by Michael. The property is lovely, clean modern and very well stocked. I was here with two kids (age 6 and8) and their grandparents. The kitchen was perfect for us to cook breakfast and dinner after days in the MTN creek ski slopes. The slopes were less than 5 min drive. My kids love the loft which was spacious with two separate beds while my elderly parents stay at the first floor bedroom. The host was amazing because I kept asking questions (had trouble turning on the grill and washing machine). He was responsive, kind and I love how he even stock with a few water bottles. I would def return again to this same house given how spacious it was, clean, and great location. We had 5 people and it's perfect for under 6 people ( 3 real beds , not a couch pull out).

Condo was exactly as advertised. Michaels communication was fantastic. Check in was easy and pleasant. Welcome treats were a very nice touch. Will stay here again. Came to area to visit JW World Headquarters which was a 40 minute drive through beautiful views. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was our second time in this gated community but our first time at Black Bear Chalet. The condo was quiet, clean, well equipped and exactly as shown on the pictures. We were impressed by how new and nice the appliances were. Bedrooms were spacious and well organized (all beds had a bedside table and small lamp, both bedrooms each had a mirror, TV and clean storage). Dining table was large enough for our family of four to sit down comfortably (6 chairs total). There were also 4 bar stools to sit at the counter. We never had to reach out to the host, Michael, during our trip, because all the information we could need was sent to us in advance in a well explained and easy to understand manner (not pages and pages of instructions, just what you really need to know). Though Michael reached out to us during the trip to make sure everything was fine, which we appreciated. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We had a great stay and will most likely come back next year!

It was great stay and the host allowed us for early check in which was the best part of it.
Overall it was clean and neat and loved high ceiling and clean linen.
The only thing that I want any improvement on is kitchen stuff. It would be great if pots and pans can be updated. Also if cooking utensils can be upgraded to silicone or stainless steel instead of plastic, that would be perfect.
That can easily improved. So we loved our stay and would come back :)

Had a family emergency last minute and Michael was great to work with. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. The condo was as advertised. Very pleased. I didn't have an opportunity to take in all the sights and various eateries, but will definitely book again when in the area.

My sister and I had the best time at the Black Bear Chalet. It was in a great location and right by the spa. The house had comfortable beds and complimentary coffee/water. The host was in constant communication and extremely helpful. Hoping to return during the winter time!

We had an excellent stay. The teenagers and tween loved their little loft space upstairs and my husband and I liked having the downstairs for us. The property was equidistant from restaurants on both the left and right of it. The ski lodge was 2mins away by car making it easy to come and go/ grab meals etc. The manager was super responsive and everything was as it was advertised. Will definitely come back!

Had a great experience staying at the Black Bear Chalet! Michael was a great host-he gave many details prior to our stay, & was easy to get a hold of with any questions we had. There was plenty of room for our young family of 5. If we ever have a need to stay in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here :)

The condo was extremely comfortable . Beds were made with high end linens and mattresses allowed for a great night’s sleep. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. The water pressure and head made the shower amazing!!! We enjoyed our weekend immensely and will look forward to returning in the future.

Very nice condo. Clean has everything you need. Beds where comfortable. Had a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods. Michael provided us water bottles and some snacks. Michael was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again

The condo is beautiful! Very clean and has all the amenities you need! Owner was very professional, friendly and informative. We may return in the winter for ski season. Highly recommend!

Amazing Getaway
The property was amazing. Everything was super clean and the host Michael had everything we needed to accommodate us. Michael had very open and clear conversations with me and always responded very quickly. The property made our vacation we will definitely be staying again.

Took my family of 6 for a few days of sbow tubing fun at Mountain Creek. The check in was simple, the condo was neat and clean and fit all of us comfortably. Just a warning for those with small children, there is a narrow spiral staircase leading up to the loft. My 2 year old wqs obsessed with these stairs but they're a little dangerous and we had to block them off. And for anyone traveling with the elderly or those who cannot climb stairs, this unit is on the 2nd floor. You need to walk down a flight of stairs from the parking lot and then up a very long flight of stairs to access the unit. Not a problem for us and doesn't affect our review, but just want to make sure people are aware because we were not. All in all, great unit for the price. Right down the street from Mountain Creek.
