If you’re looking to stay in Walla Walla and you have a large family, being all together is the best! The accommodations are lovely from time-period furnishings to the gourmet kitchen and a lovely private back yard with lounging area and pool. In town location is perfect to walk to fine dining, shopping and wine tasting. Thanks to the host for also being great with communication prior to and during our stay!

The Mansion was nice for our family, but it was distressing that we could not all gather for one meal at the mansion, as the owner was insistent that NO more than 16 people be at the Mansion for ANY reason.
If you don't mind NOT being able to have more than 16 to gather for a meal, then the Mansion would work for you. It did have 8 Bedrooms, so that did accommodate our family.

House and grounds are beautiful. Felt like it could’ve been stocked better with paper towels, toilet paper, dish towels and the ice maker wasn’t working so they did bring some bags of ice. The pool needs work. It looks dirty on the pool bottom because the surface is in need of work.They came to service the pool on the hottest day we were there in the middle of the afternoon so that finished our pool time and it was cold and windy the remainder of our stay so that was disappointing. I would hope the pool could be serviced and ready to use sometime the day or two before we arrived I agreed to a day we were there because it was supposed to be done at 10 am rather than 3pm as it happened.
The beds were very comfortable, furnishings great and it’s an easy walk to downtown to get a Starbucks.

This home is absolutely gorgeous, and we were all very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to and from Main Street for food, drinks and shopping plus it’s a beautiful walk! We enjoyed time in the pool and tub after wine tasting as well. Absolutely perfect spot for a large group and the hosts are super responsive and helpful! Highly recommend if you’re coming to the area!

Eleven friends, one weekend, no kids! We booked this house for a wine tasting weekend, and we are now old enough that we can’t handle weekends on fold-out couches. The property was a dream, it really is just as beautiful as it looks in the listing, there’s no exaggeration. Even with three bedrooms on one floor, you can’t hear anyone else, the AC kept things wonderfully cool, and we had enough spaces for small or large group hangouts. The pool was the perfect temperature and we spent hours every day in it, and the yard and gardens are wonderfully established and beautiful. We felt secluded but we were half a mile from downtown, and it was easy to get to the highway to go out to wineries. Shannon, the property manager, was so helpful and responsive when we had questions, and even offered to bake our lasagna at her place when the oven wasn’t working! She was very responsive and we were so grateful for

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Grand Tudor home! It is beautiful, well-appointed and both Barbara and Shannon were available if needed, making sure our visit was wonderful. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Eight of us enjoyed our visit immensely. We played golf, (love Wine Valley), ate, wine tasted, and celebrated a very special mans career. The house was selected to reflect this career, in excellent condition, all of the necessities and of course, like the individual, old and stately. We had a wonderful time.

The property was as beautiful as advertised. Incredible space for a large group with great walkability. When our group originally booked the listing had included laundry availability as well as access to a Tiki Bar lounge; neither of these amenities were available upon our arrival. The listing has been updated and accurately reflects the conveniences the house provides.

Great Place for a Big Group
This is the 2nd year that my extended family has stayed at this house. We love that the house has enough bedrooms for all of us and has plenty of places to hang out. The pool/hot tub is the great. Love that they supply pool toys and plenty of places to lounge. We can't wait to come back again next year.

Thanks so much for the use of the space. The pool was great on those 90 and 100 degree days! It was close to all that we wanted to venture to. Mgmt company was great and super quick with all my questions. 10 of us were able to spread out comfortably! Loved the ensuite primary bedroom as well. Thanks again!!!!

Spent Mother’s Day weekend with seven moms. The house was lovely and provided tons of space to spread out. We enjoyed walking the lovely neighborhood, nearby campus and downtown for meals/wine tasting. We even enjoyed the pool and hot tub despite the rain. Would love to come back!

The space was perfect, as each couple had their own bedroom, and the kitchen and tv room were a great gathering place in the mornings and evenings. It was beautiful inside and out and a great place to get ready for our wedding ceremony. The location was also wonderful as it was close to everything.

Large beautiful house in great location with lots of options for activities!
Prior to our arrival, Barbara was outstanding in answering my questions. Once there, the property manager was very kind and helpful to come out on a holiday to accommodate our minor request for a broom.
This lovely historic home has picturesque landscaping. We (7 adults and 5 kids) spent our Thanksgiving holiday here for three nights enjoying its charm, various bedrooms, dens, and eating areas. The kids loved exploring its multiple floors over and over again. The master suite was exceptionally lovely with a calming atmosphere.
We came with stroller/bicycles and utilized Pioneer Park, the Walla Walla pump track, as well as the maintained trails around beautiful, pastoral Bennington Lake! Our short walks downtown were quiet, convenient, lovely in the fall, and we felt safe.
The YWCA a couple of blocks down the street may be another accessible option for active people. As it was a nice holiday weekend, we opted for togetherness outdoors. That is, until the Apple Cup.
The large den off the kitchen, as well as the smaller tobacco-colored den, were great for watching football, and the Great British Baking Show! The larger den was perfect for celebrating the Cougs with the WSU Fight Song!
I'm certain this is a great venue for wine tasting guests who come to the area, but I must boast there are many options for families and other activities based out of this unique, historic home.
We found the online listing pretty accurate. I would recommend anyone staying three nights or longer to pack extra clothes, as no laundry is available.
We could not have hoped for a nicer family home to spend our time together. Thank you, Barbara, and staff.

Perfect gathering place
Looking for a place to celebrate my 50th birthday with my dearest friends, we were thrilled to have found this property last minute on a holiday weekend. With a few little housekeeping issues, we had the best of time staying here. There was plenty of room for our group of 16 with many rooms to gather in and enjoy our time together.

This is a fine property with exceptional original construction as well as high quality improvements in all the important areas. The master suite is sensational as are the common areas and grounds. You cannot miss by booking here.

Great ladies golf stay
the pool had some issues that were being worked on to resolve and the oven and grill needed some attention, but other than that we loved everything else this old beautiful house had to offer. We loved the pool area and the upgraded kitchen was a gathering place for all. Easy walking to downtown for wine tasting and short drive to golf course.
