Whitetail Lodge is slope side on Timberline Mountain’s Winterset Trail. Convenient! Ski all morning then stop back by the house for lunch. Incredibly convenient! Hit the trails for the afternoon and ski back to the house for a delicious homemade meal. Super convenient! Spend the evening gathered around the fireplace with friends. Nice and convenient! Stargaze from the outdoor hot tub and prepare for another day on the mountain. Relaxing and convenient! Easy check-in and check-out. The house is big with plenty of room for everyone, was clean and right on Winterset trail which is nice. The fireplace and hot tub were a huge plus after a day of skiing. Having some steps built into the small hill or a walkway directly from the nice deck to the trail would've made access much easier, but overall the location and house are great.

The house is in a great location for skiing. The house layout works for our group size. Things that needs improvement. The kitchen flooring and into the mudroom needs to be replaced. However, it didn't affect our stay. The sliding glass door that goes to the deck doesn't slide smoothly. You need both hands to open/close it. Again, these are nothing that affected the stay but they should be addressed soon.

We stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our time there. The property was as listed and was well stocked. It was quiet and the area beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great Thanksgiving week at Whitetail Lodge. It was very comfortable for 9 people and the kitchen was great for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. We loved being slope side and watching the skiers and snowboarders ride by. We would love to stay there again.

Whitetail Lodge was a very comfortable, clean and nice home to spend our long weekend. The home has three floors to accommodate a large family. All of the conveniences are accounted for and the location couldn’t be better. Right on the Timberline slopes, this is a true ski in and out home. The home is very clean and kitchen well supplied. We had a great experience with the Beat of Canaan in planning our vacation. Thank you!

Overall, this property had everything we needed for our annual family reunion. There is some wear and tear, but overall did not impact our stay. It was great for kids, pets, and adults. We had a great time in this location. It was walking distance to the ski lift, and we were able to jump on the scenic tour.

We dreamed about having a great ski weekend experience. The rental house was a big concern. Once we arrived our concerns dissolved and our dream fantasy vacation became reality. The house exceeded expectations against every anticipated concern. Everyone in our party was pleased.
