You'll want to spend all of your "Happy Daze" right here in Kure Beach just around the corner from the Pier. This two-bedroom and two-bathroom cottage is perfect for couples or families and the furriest members in your group. The dogs will love the large, fenced in backyard, where you will find the primary entrance, and the people will love the modern kitchen and comfortable amenities. There is a cart to haul your stuff to the beach, and boogie boards, beach chairs and toys to take along for a fantastic day of fun. Please note that to gain entry to the property, you will need to utilize the entrance on the backside of the cottage.

This was our second stay at this house, unfortunately not as good as the first! It was nasty, the smell of urine was evident, it was like the place got a once over and done! Nasty underneath the furniture like it was never moved, ever! You shouldn't have to come on vacation and spend money on Febreeze and candles and cleaning supplies to get it bearable.....did i mention the dog hair? ugh!

We had a great time at this sweet little house. The location is perfect 4 min walk to the beach or pier. The fenced in yard is a great bonus when brining along your pets. The house was clean, updated and very welcoming.

The cottage was as promised: clean, well-stocked, tasteful decor without being too kitschy. The walk to the beach was easy although I chose to drive and park at a beach access a bit farther from the pier. The backyard was safe/secure and I was able to let my pup to have outdoor time. As a note there is one gap in the back of the shed that allows a smaller dog to crawl under. The main bathroom is pretty tight, however the 2nd bath/shower in the closed sunroom was larger. Maybe a bit of attention to the shower heads in both are in order. I brought a ton of stuff for a 6night stay and I could have left it at home. Linens were good quality and the kitchen has everything!! I have to say the neighbors and folks at the pier, coffee shop, hardware store, etc. were super friendly. I really enjoyed the house and Kure beach for the 5th annual beach vacation.

This home provided everything that was listed and more. The house was very clean and had all the little extras that you sometimes forget. It was within a very short walking distance to the pier and restaurant's. Had a great time with my family and highly recommended!

Initially had a problem gaining entrance. There was a rotary dial to a key box beside the front Sliding door. Checked one back door but no key pad. A nice lady named Deanna helped me by suggesting I try a back door and the other back door had a keypad to use to get in. The instructions should alert the guest to the rear entrance door!

The Happy Daze rental was just that, a good location for us with our dog. The back yard being fenced was a plus for us and the out building with nice beach chairs was an added plus for not to have to try to pack them and bring from home. Kitchen was very well stocked IF you want to cook on vacation. Quiet area and we truly enjoyed our stay.

This property was PERFECT for us. It had everything we needed and more from cookware to the little things that you wouldn't even think about bringing. The shed in the back has a beach wagon, a kiddie pool that my kids loved to play in with a bunch of beach toys that we took to the beach. Nice setting area outside. The owners even left us dryer sheets and pods to do our laundry. The inside was very cozy and extremely nice and clean. It felt like home to us. It's within walking distance of the pier and the oceanfront park, so we didn't even have to drive anywhere. It has an outside shower, so when you come back from the beach you can rinse off before you go into the house. We will definitely be renting this again the next time we vacation at the beach.

Grass needs to be cut WEEKLY. Difficult to clean up after dogs when the grass is high. Dirt Devil needs to be replaced. I vacuum bc i have dogs atleast once or twice a week. If the cleaning crew is using that vacuum cleaner they likely aren’t doing a good job. The mattresses are painful. I won’t stay there again. It is a shame bc it is a lovely home, lovely neighbors and so close to the beach. And your maintenance guy is rude. Office staff were awesome. A/C on carport area needs to be serviced yearly per the weekend A/C visit we had to have.

Although the home was small, it was well appointed and the decor was charming. The backyard was a great feature for our dog.
There were a few issues-- very minor. The dishwasher needs to be serviced, as sometimes dishes come out of it looking worse than they went in. The washing machine has a foul smell. The refrigerator had a little water leak and needed to have the air filter changed.
The advertising claims that the house sleeps 7. While there may be room for 7 to lie down, a group of 7 would be greatly overcrowded and would probably not enjoy themselves.

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The house is comfortably and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The dogs had plenty of room to play chase in the fenced backyard. We loved it so much we booked it for two weeks in the spring.

Perfection!
This impeccable home was the perfect choice for us and our fur baby! The location was excellent! Walking distance to the beach, dog parks and several restaurants, as well as great bicycle riding area with trails . Amanda and Craig have paid a great deal of attention to details with their beachy decor and amenities. They also messaged us when we left one of our belongings behind and mailed it back to us! Only thing we would change is we would have stayed longer if our time would have allowed us! You will not be disappointed if you choose this place. Thank you Amanda and Craig for providing us with one of our most relaxing vacations ever at your place.

Fall getaway
The house is beautiful...but there were a few things that should be addressed. It was close to the beach to allow for a nice walk each day. Close restaurants to walk to. It was very quiet.

Amazing Place
This is an amazing house in an amazing location. Everything was so clean and nice and the location was within walking distance to awesome restaurants and to the beach. Amanda and Craig literally thought of everything when stocking this house for their guests! I could have left a lot of the extras at home as they were available for use at this awesome property (towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, and even cute little dog bowls out for my little ❤). If you are looking for an awesome place to stay, look no further this house is perfect. 😊

Best Beach Stay
Our first trip to a NC beach. Choosing this home in Kure Beach was a perfect choice. The home had everything and more needed for a wonderful beach experience. The neighborhood was quiet, close to everything from the beach to restaurants and more. The owners did an amazing job furnishing the home plus provided everything one would need for an extended stay. We will be visiting again in the future.

Simply excellent
The first impression was how clean it was. The host supplied far and away from the list of amenities listed on the property page. there were even dog bowls laid out. (I think ours preferred theirs.) A nice little 5 minute walk to the beach and within striking distance of very nice eateries. The house is cozy... it was perfect for us. And the best part? Amanda was consistently communicating with us making sure all our needs were met.
