Richard the owner, was very polite and the hostel was quite private... I'd argue that it's a hotel at an amazing price!

Mattress was covered by plastic, that was pretty uncomfortable. People had to wait at the reception without knowing when the owner is going to be back.

Very nice hostel for its price. Cute and clean. The guy there was very friendly and helped with our luggage. The location is very good, close to the station and close to Hondae, where you can visit coffee shops and do shopping.

The laundry is open from 1 pm (there are reasons for it), which was a bit annoying since we wanted to leave earlier to do things in the city. So, make sure to do laundry in the evening. Bedsheets didn’t feel like cotton.

The mattress is hard but that's normal in Korea I think. The shower doesn't have a separate space so you have to aim well not getting anything else wet.

The bunkbed made a lot of noise whenever you move which was quite annoying. The placement of the mirror was also very awkward and badly positioned. The fridge did not seem to work at some point so the food got spoiled

The host was incredibly nice and caring, he even helped us get a taxi in the freezing weather and helped with all the luggage! The location is right in Sinchon which is an amazing area with lots of fun things to do. I definitely recommend staying in this hostel!

The hostel is on a pretty steep hill so it's difficult to bring big suitcases there. However, the host was very kind and helped us out!

everything at Oppa Hostel exceeded my expectations. This hostel is perhaps one of the best hostels in Seoul. It is located in a very central area, just near Sinchon station. you can find plenty of restaurants, shopping places and lots of other entertainment venues near the hostel. The room is very clean, spacious and very cozy. Mr Richard, who speaks an excellent English, is always willing to help for anything. He suggested us many places whenever we asked. He answers messages very fast and he is very attentive to details. will for sure return here next time as well.
