My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village.

This place has been completely modernized, and is very nicely decorated. Suggest updating the check in instructions to explain how to unlock the annex, unlock the shed, the process for operating the furnace and how to lock the exterior doors. Provide house management instructions at least a week in advance so guests can know what to expect when arriving.

Lovely property tastefully renovated and decorated.. All very modern including appliances. The annex proved a great bedroom addition and well thought out. A great place to stay in a very convenient position in a quiet area and just steps away from the Main Street..

Had a lovely 3 night stay over Easter. The cottage was lovely and perfectly situated. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Beautiful property. Had a bit of trouble locating it, but once there in a great location. I have mobility problems, so thought the idea of a ground floor annexe would be a good idea, however during our stay it was quite icey marking the crossing of the yard quite lethal. No one's fault, but did tarnish our stay as when it wasn't icey it was pouring down. Would like to visit again in the summer.

Had a thoroughly nice stay in this cottage. The bed was comfortable and the garden was really useful. It's very useful for the centre of Pateley Bridge but we didn't find the stone archway into the high street until the morning we left. Walks along the river Nidd were lovely and a quick way of getting out into the open countryside. The cottage was well fitted out too.

The cottage is located just yards off of Pateley High Street so very convenient for all local amenities. Very well appointed cottage - this place wants for nothing. Very nicely decorated with good quality fixtures and fittings. The small enclosed garden is a perfect place for a cheeky little evening drink. The garden was perfect (and safe) for our border collies. We will definitely be returning to this little gem. Highly recommended.

in the heart of the village with easy access to things

We have just had a wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful cottage and wished we had stayed longer. 5 star accommodation, exceptionally clean with "state of the art! fittings We had our dog with us and were spoilt for choice for walks on our doorstep. The weather was very kind to us which made sitting on the private .patio - daytime and evening - especially enjoyable. Can,t wait to return.

Absolutely gorgeous little cottage, right off the Main Street. It was a beautifully set up and had everything we needed. Something to note is one of the bedrooms is in annex outside the main property, which I loved but if you have children staying in separate bedroom it might not be suitable. We were able to walk into the little town, which had some great restaurants and a little park nearby. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and location it was brilliant!

This property is perfect for families needing some privacy as the second bedroom is in a self contained annexe with shower. The whole property was really good for dogs as no carpets and there's a hose to wash down the patio, which is beautifully laid out with flowers in tubs and planters. Everything inside was surprisingly modern and in pristine condition. Beds were very comfortable and it was in a perfect location to explore the area but lovely walks also right from the doorstep. I would definitely go back, thoroughly recommend it.

Perfect for us. I stayed here with my sister in law.i stayed in the main bedroom. My sister in law stayed in the annexe. It worked perfectly for our needs. The only slight downside was the lack of a window in the annexe. My sister had to leave the annexe door open all night to get adequate ventilation. Other than that ...fantastic

Pristine, spacious and very comfortable beds. All mod cons, although not being technically savvy, struggled with the kitchen tap. Wifi not great, had taken some work to do but couldn't get good enough signal. Otherwise, a very pleasant place to say and would recommend it highly.

Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Well equipped. The enclosed sunny courtyard was great for our evenings.

We were very happy with our Pateley Bridge home away from home! The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen with dining was top notch. The patio area was lovely in the sun and parking was always available. Julie was great at responding to our queries very quickly and checked in with us to ensure all was well. We would love to return here again some day. Thank you!

nice stay

Situated in a quiet courtyard just off the High Street, the cottage had the perfect location. There are many lovely walks right on your doorstep (and the best butcher in the world!) The cottage itself has been modernised to a high standard with everything you could possibly need. It is very clean and comfortable and the quirky layout adds to it's charm. There is a pretty outdoor area which would be lovely to sit out in. (It was a bit rainy when we were there) It is also secure so great if you have a dog. Jill and Julie were perfect hosts, communication was excellent (sorry I didn't answer my phone!). All in all, we would thoroughly recommend the accommodation and the hosts. 5 stars

This is a fabulous cottage in the centre of Pateley Bridge which is great for nipping out to the Pancake House for breakfast (don't stay without trying it you won't be disappointed. The gate on the property making the courtyard fully enclosed is great, if like us, you have pets that you want to be able to wander about without wandering off. The house is fully equipped with the washing machine and tumble dryer out in the shed, just remember to take your own washing powder. Together with hand soap, these were the only two things missing. Our daughter and fiance loved the separate building containing the second bedroom and en-suite. There is a public car park at the rear of the house that is accessible via a gate but it was very busy when we stayed and you may find that you have to park away from the cottage. As we were visiting friends nearby, it was far more than we needed but a very cozy place to come back to at night. Together with very reasonable costs and prompt responses from the owners, we will certainly be looking at this property for future visits.
