Very good

The hotel is situated in a very quiet bay of Pollonia with sea views on both sides. It's about 5-10 minutes walk to the main part of the town where you'll find cafes and restaurants. The room was very cosy and spotlessly clean with a small balcony. Anastasia the host was able to help with any needs (although you need to make sure you coordinate arrival and departure times in advance as the reception closes between 3pm-6pm) and arranged me taxi to the port. For the price I thought it was very good value for money. If you visit Pollonia, I highly recommend making the day trip to Kimolos to visit one of the most laid back Greek islands, just 30 minutes ferry ride away.

Some of the installations were dated and rusty. A new bikini I left drying on the clothes dryer got rust stains. Bathroom was a bit dated and cramped.

Exceeded all expectations

Stayed early May. My stay at Heliotropio was UNREAL. My ferry was delayed as was my car collection but Anastacia stayed on to be able to let me into the apartment. She is one special lady not only did she make me a coffee but she wrote out A WHOLE LIST of best places for food/drink/ beach and attached it to a map for me and gave me loads of tips for what times of day to visit these places. Amazing personal touch and was so helpful to me as a solo female traveller. The room was cleaned daily and was STUNNING. Bed was comfy with lots of pillows and wifi never let me down. I had an uninterrupted view of the whole port and beach. Accom is a bit further away from the main town but a good walk after lots of food :) again make sure to ask for her recommendations and everyone seems to know her :) im so glad i stayed here i felt so safe and looked after

There was a loud cat that seemed to want to be in my room every night but thats not exactly a complaint :)

Quiet and charming

Pollonia is a quiet town and this accommodation is at the end of the road. You only hear fishing boats going out and the waves- early June! We enjoyed an extensive breakfast that was on offer for an extra €10 … pre order but we’ll worth it!

The owner suggested car hire, with infrequent buses this is a good option.

Quiet, well-maintained apartment just outside Pollonia

The room and balcony were very clean, neat, and well-maintained. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening watching the harbor. The location near Pollonia worked well for us although we had a rental car to explore the island and go to/from restaurants (highly recommend this). Anastasia was very friendly and provided helpful recommendations for beaches and places to eat. Excellent views of the area were a short walk away.

Anastasia's English was a bit limited, but the travel agent in Pollonia was able to help us book the 1/2 day boat cruise that we needed.

Partial view on the sea, the room was at the back of the building , you could see the sea only from the balcony. Choose the rooms upfront instead.

Great value for money, very nice and comfortable rooms!

Very comfortable bed, silence and quiet yet I could listen to the sea from the room, a very nice touch from the host who leaves a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge for you, friendly staff and very good value for money. It’s located a 10’ walk away from Pollonia center and the views are very nice.

Just a minor detail about check in. I arrived during rest time and was not aware that reception is closed from 2 to 6, so I had to call the owner for her to come check me in. this should have been stated in the reservation details.

Great location with great water view apartment for 2 - great helpful owner and host! Anastasia bet helpful with many things- suggestions, car rentals, sights to see, cooking lesson etc

Good location and comfortable bed!

Good location - close to town and main beach but quiet. Kept exceptionally clean every day. Bed was very large and comfortable.

We should maybe have chosen a sea view rather than garden as it was a little enclosed.

Fantastic location

On shoreline of beautiful Pollonia bay. Well equipped apartment e.g. good filter coffee machine, plenty of kitchen utensils, large fridge etc. Good aircon. Comfy beds. Felt very private.

It is fairly small but this didn’t really matter as it is well designed with enough storage space and lovely terrace by the sea. Perfect for 2 adults and 1 child.

Exceptional

The location of the apartment is very good as it is quiet and has a small beach just below it. 10' walk to the village (Pollonia) which has restaurants, bars and a shop but not massively touristic. The apartment was spot on. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and bedroom. The best part of the apartment is the double patio/terrace overlooking the sea and the village. Everything was very clean with daily cleaning provided and Anastasia, the owner, was very attentive and helpful.

Great staff and location in a great town.

This property has a great location and the staff is very gracious and helpful. The room was great and our small view of the harbor was exceptional. The staff arranged for our taxi from the ferry and to the airport. They gave us great restaurant recommendations all over Milos. We would be happy to return.

Friendly guesthouse, beautiful room, good location

Really great place in Pollonia. We had a room with a patio with shower and jacuzzi. Room was spacious, bright, well furnished (very big bed however slightly too hard for my liking) and nicely decorated. The host is very nice and helpful. Breakfast fresh and rich. Location is very convenient - 5 minutes walking from restaurants and shops but in a quiet area.

The location shown on the map in booking.com is not precise (check google maps for it) - however for us it was even better.

Perfecf hotel on the bay in Pollonia

The hotel is in a great location, right on the water in the bay of Pollonia. The suite was very clean, and it had everything you needed. Housekeeping came in everyday to change the sheets which was amazing, even though it wasn’t even needed! You can swim right in front of the property or walk 3 mins down the road and swim at the sandy public beach. It was perfect, I’ll be back!

Charming beach apartment

Friendly beach apartment with a nice maritime vibe. We liked the location overlooking the bay, just 5 minutes on foot from restaurants and swimming beaches. And we were delighted with the cold white wine in the fridge.

Exceptional

My boyfriend and I stayed at Heliotropio for 3 nights, 4 days. Where should I start? The apartment was just perfect: good size bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. We had fresh sheets and towels daily as well as a clean apartment. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, peaceful and private. Heliotropio is located 5-7 minutes walk from Pollonia center, where there are a few restaurants, coffee shops and mini markets. Anastasia and her daughter Androniki were the most welcoming hosts and suggested the best places to visit during our stay. Both my partner and I HIGHLY recommend Heliotropio for your stay in Milos and we will definitely stay there again!

I had a lovely private balcony looking onto beautiful flowers and the sea. The home cooked food was delicious. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. I wish I had stayed longer!

The bed was a bit firm, but everything else was great.

Great location to explore the beautiful island of Milos but the room needs renovation!

Great location right at the sea and very close to the beautiful and picturesque city of Pollonia, perfect location to explore the highlights of Milos, friendly staff who gave us a lot of tips about the island and its activities, great rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean, free parking.

Unfortunately the room offered less comfort than we have at home, while we expect the opposite on holiday. The shower was broken so we had to hold the shower ourselves (really difficult if you want to wash your hair) and the beds are not comfortable (we both woke up with a stiff back and neck) and it takes some time in order to get warm water in the shower. Th breakfast was disappointing. We were asked to put on gloves and a mask for the breakfast. This unfortunately was not a holiday feeling for us. For the extra cost we expected fresh orange juice as well. The room was overall outdated (moisture at the walls, wires coming out of the ground that you can fall over), however this was less important for us.
