This condo was very basic, but it served its purpose. The finishes are chipped laminate countertops, but the floors were new, which was nice. The beds were comfortable unless you don’t like sleeping on a soft mattress. The TV was pretty small compared to other places I have rented. It was not much bigger than my large computer monitor at home. The two futons were not very comfortable for sitting for long periods of time. The back deck is right next to the woods, so there is not much light coming in through the windows. You can also hear the road noise upstairs in the morning, since the condo is right next to a very busy road. We had a noise machine so that helped. There are ceiling fans in the room and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, plates, cups, pots/pans. We used paper plates most of the time, but we did have some cups and plates I wanted to wash in the dishwasher, but that wasn’t even attached to the countertop so I couldn’t even use it. I gave this four-star since I have stayed in a condo on a marina that was fully stocked and had top-of-the-line furnishings.

My husband and I, along with my two adult sons and a daughter in-law stayed in the condo for a family wedding in the area. Michael, the condo owner was very responsive to all communications during both the booking process and during our stay. We had a difficult situation occur when we had returned from lunch to get ready for the wedding and the door keypad would not open! Michael worked with us and did all he could to get us access and to the wedding on time. Things can go wrong anywhere, but it’s how the owners handle something like this this that make it a 5 star property or not. Thank you Michael for all your help! The condo is a comfy place to sleep in a great location but if you’re looking for cute homey decor type of place this is not that. As we were getting ready for a wedding, I would recommend the addition of an iron and ironing board and a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms. Highly recommend the property if you are in the area.

This property and location was perfect for our busy family of 4, just a skip and hop away from Harbor Springs and Petosky. Kids had their own bathroom and my husband and I had our own. We were able to enjoy the bike trails and visit Kilwins in the evening. Grocery stores were close by and so was a Starbucks! We will definitely be back!

The place is lacked hospitality. Sure we had beds, bathrooms and a kitchen but that's about it. No dressers to put our clothes in and only 4 hangers in the closet. The back patio looked as if it hadn't had any attention since the weather got warm. Cobwebs everywhere. My mistake was also to assume they would have some of the basic necessities, such as coffee. Nope. Overall, the place is very conveniently located but it did lack character and warmth.

The condo was extremely clean and well appointed for a short weekend or a week long trip! The cleanliness of the condo is something to be noted as I feel not every place takes the care and concern that they do here! Very close to the state park, downtown and other areas of interest! Will definitely stay here again if the need arises!

Spent the weekend at this property with my husband and brother and sis in law! Went to Highlands bike park and walked to Petoskey brewery. Perfect location and rental was clean with all the necessary amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect central/private location right next to the Petoskey State Park entrance. All the amenities you need to settle in and set up your home-away-from-home. Full kitchen made it super convenient to make late dinners and all the stores you need are within minutes. The king bed was very comfortable (so important)! Tons of hiking, biking and shoreline walks. All around great place. Would definitely stay again. Thank You!

Great value! Wonderful stay. The location was fantastic for our trip. Local skiing and quality food sites were nearby; ~10-15min drive. The home was clean and roomy for our needs. Our group enjoyed the comforts of this site. The host made our check-in and check-out easy. A courtesy mid-stay check-up during our stay was well appreciated. We would prioritize staying here for upcoming Harbor Springs trips.

Great place with a fantastic owner. Love the location, very quiet. Was able to accommodate all of my last minute adjustments. Be aware that all the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, it wasn’t an issue for us but if my elderly parents was traveling with us it would have been a problem. The photos are of a 2 story so I should’ve realized. I will gladly rent again when in the area!

Great accommodations for our family of four. Condo was clean, spacious and stocked with all the essentials. Very close to Nubs, restaurants, a market for groceries and shopping. Enjoyed a great week of skiing...would stay again!

We had a lovely time. Skied at Nubs Nob, which is about 10-15 minutes away. The only issue was that the listing said the condo has a fireplace, but it doesn't (the "fireplace" is a space heater gizmo with a fireplace display).

My family had a great stay in Emmet county during the pre Christmas “blizzard. “ The condo was very clean and comfortable for my family of 4. The beds and linens were new and comfortable. There were extra towels and supplies, which is always appreciated. The heating system kept us toasty warm. The parking lot was cleared each day. It is true that the condo doesn’t have any decor but it is nicely painted and has what appeared to be new carpet. There were plenty of cups, bowls and dishes for us. There are some cooking supplies but if you plan to do a lot of cooking you may want to bring some of your own supplies, spices and oils. Michael, the owner, communicated well and even checked on us to make sure we were ok in the “blizzard.” We chose this condo because of it’s proximity to The Highlands ski resort. It is also an easy drive to Petoskey.

In town visiting family for Thanksgiving. Nice for a quick weekend getaway at a reasonable price. This is a no frills condo. It would be nice to have TVs in the bedrooms. The master bed mattress needs to be replaced. Did not use kitchen or appliances, but looked well stocked. Would stay again if matress replaced.

Very close to everything we wanted to do. Everything was very clean. It worked well with our family. Stocked with some basics.

The colors were absolutely beautiful on the trees, but it rained every day we were there. I guess we can’t blame the host for that.

Very clean and easy check in!

Although this is a nice condo, it has nothing but bare essentials. Beds, TV, dishes & cooking essentials. That’s it. Even motels have pictures on the walls! No chairs. Nothing to put a suitcase on. There is nothing welcoming or cozy here. Problems were dealt with quickly & efficiently & the area is beautiful. But the place didn’t even have basic tourist info left for visitors

This property is clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to the Lake Michigan beach. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very clean! Walking distance to the Petoskey state park. Best part, two full baths up and a half bath down. It’s rear to find a place that has a full bathroom connect to each bedroom.

We were in town for a 2 day golf event. This condo was perfect for our group. Location was great. We were very pleased with everything.

A girlfriend and I needed a “get outta town” vacation and this was perfect. Super clean and well appointed. It’s adjacent to the state park and beach, so we had fun with our bikes - going to the beach, and reading books on the back patio. Michael is a great host- answered all my questions prior to our stay and really friendly. We’ll be back, definitely. Thanks Michael!

The property was great as far as everything we were looking for as we were at ball games most days. The location was convenient to come back to and have lunch/dinner. Kitchen was very comfortable to cook in and it was very spacious for three adults and 2 kids. The side yard allowed the kids to play and they also were very happy with their stay. Thank you so much for the use of your home..we hope to rent here again when back in the area.

The home was clean and plenty spacious. Having 3 bathrooms was very helpful for us! All the basic necessities were there for us, and there were games to play in the TV stand. The location was our favorite feature of all, with a short bike ride or reasonable walk to the beach and the campground. Finally, the owner was friendly and responsive. Overall, a great stay!
