We were all quite pleased with this lovely home. The kitchen was well stocked, including a variety of spices. The backyard has grass, a large shade tree, and two patio tables with chairs. We had several dinners for visiting family members at the dining room table which seats 8 (or 10 with folding chairs). The house is well stocked with essential paper goods, soaps, linens & blankets. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice VRBO. Hosts were very communicative and were on TOP OF IT for sure. Within walking distance to several restaurants and had a great setup with a very nice backyard. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property was as described by the host; it shares the building with a physical therapy office. But don’t let that dissuade you from booking this property. Once we entered the home, we were immediately comfortable. The kitchen/living area is a nice size, coffee and tea complimentary, plenty of seating at the table and the bar. The couch is comfortable, and there is a half bath downstairs. If you want to relax outside, the tables and chairs are available with a nice lawn, a little haven away. The bedrooms were upstairs, nicely decorated, and comfortable beds. One larger bathroom in the master, and a smaller one near the two other bedrooms. There were nine of us, and the house accommodated us well. We were there just one night on our trip west but would have stayed longer if our plans were to do more in the area. I certainly recommend it.

This property is perfect in so many ways…plenty of room for a large family group…very clean, comfortable and the most wonderful, welcoming hosts. The location was great for walking to restaurants, and convenient to the area attractions. Thank you, Sarah and Mark

We were there for our nieces graduation celebration in Pueblo. It was the perfect distance and many other things to do on down time. Met Sara and she was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This house was amazing! 3 bedrooms, all upstairs, gave us enough room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools you could need - potato masher, cheese grater, cookie sheets, BBQ tools, etc. We were able to walk to shops up and down the road, and the grocery store was just a few blocks away. We went a few miles down the road to the Royal Gorge bridge, as well as around the corner to ride the Royal Gorge train. We took another day to go to Salida and Buena Vista, both cute little towns!

Our vacation was for a family Christmas getaway the owners had a tree up for us and amenities that went above and beyond. For a vacation that was meant to be relaxing this home made that so easy. All around great experience.

A really nice little home right in Cañon City. Great set up, kitchen, living room with bedrooms upstairs with soft beds and pillows. Nice backyard, easy parking. 100%. Hosts were super easy to work with and just plain good people.

This rental is perfect for a family! Lots of room to gather including nice outdoor space, but also plenty of room to spread out. The owners were easy to get ahold of and even gave great ideas for excursions. Had everything we needed but was close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend!

The place was not what was expected but still very good. Let me explain. The location was a bit odd with another business there at the front of the house. The other was the lack of a true A/C. I was a little concerned with the swamp cooler but was pleasantly surprise on how comfortable to was during the day and night. We will definitely try staying here again when we come back.

Overall the property was great! We had lots of room for my family, easy access and the property manager was always very promp with any questions I had and very friendly! The only disappointment was the cleanliness. The counters were dirty with dried on food and crumbs. The appliances as well had crusty food on handles and dials. And the bathrooms as well had dirt, debri, hair on the toilets and in the sink. So we wiped alot of those things down with our own cleaner. And the floors were left with smeary residue from whatever kind of cleaner was used on the flooring. As I said the place was really nice except for those basic things that need a little work. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Base Camp so much. It was perfect for our group. We were able to walk to most places in town and it was an easy drive to the Gorge and rafting. The scenery is beautiful. The kitchen it fully stocked and communication was fantastic. I would recommend this place for anyone.
