This cottage is Comfortable, clean and fully stocked on a private street with a beautiful short walk to the beach. We were only 2 but house could easily sleep up to 8 guests. Large backyard with tranquil outdoor setting firepit and Barbeque. Host is very responsive welcoming and helpful. The nearby Main street has many restaurants and shops as well as Wine vineyards. Will definitely be booking again in future. We found a new love and that is Jamesport. Thank you Kelly!

Nice home good amenities. Location was perfect as it was about 1 mile from where my family was having a wedding. Walking distance to the beach was a plus although we did have weather for beach going. Comments made to the host were all well received. Would recommend.

It was reasonably clean but had an odor like someone had smoked in it. The 3rd bedroom was in the basement. It was clean but the stairs were steep and it should not have been considered a bedroom. I think that it was false advertising.

We had a wonderful two week stay! The house is very comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could need, lots of space to spread out, a lovely backyard, and the street it's on is beautiful. We spent a lot of time at the beach at the end of the road. It's almost completely private and is very peaceful. A great base for exploring the North Fork. Hope to come again.

This cute cottage just off the beautiful Peconic Bay in Jamesport was perfect for or family of 4. We could walk to the water to paddle board, enjoy the quaint restaurants and vineyards of the North Fork or relax by the fire in the yard - plus it’s leas than 30 minutes from the ocean or Greenport. Highly recommend this property and Kelly as a host!

The property was in the perfect location close to the main road but quiet. The basement was a perfect place to chill, workout, or just be by yourself. Kelly was extremely responsive, my husband wanted to take an outdoor shower but couldn’t get it to work. I contacted Kelly and she immediately came over to help. We would recommend Kelly’s property

The house was exactly as it was described. It was clean and very roomy and comfortable. Close walk to the beach and many wineries was a plus for this house. Owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. Would definitely rent again. We loved it.

We loved staying at Lockitt Cottage. The home was cozy and beautifully furnished. Truly a home away from home. There was plenty of space for our family a group of 6. The owners have a very helpful book with all the necessary information about their home and with many great suggestions for dining options and local activities. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and it's an easy short walk to a private beach. We would definitely consider staying at Lockitt Cottage again in the furure!

A wonderful house that easily accomodated our family. With three little grandchildren we appreciated the large backyard and spacious family room downstairs. The locataion near the water but also easy access to all the wedding events we had to attend made the house ideal. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions prior to arrival. I only gave 3 stars to the communication with the property manager because we NEVER needed to communicate. Everything was just as expected. Very grateful for a lovely place to stay.

This cottage is surprisingly spacious and very well located. Close to town, wineries, breweries, and walking distance to the bay. While the private beach is pretty small, you can walk a few minutes to the larger beach. The house is well-stocked and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming home in Jamesport. The house is in a beautiful community with access to the bay at the end of the street. The cottage is decorated nicely - very cozy. The basement is just awesome as it provides a whole other level of living space. Overall, our stay was really nice. Some small things to mention would be that the bed in the first bedroom squeaks a lot. We had to move to the other bedroom. We would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed the clean & comfortable cottage—just steps from Peconic Bay! Perfect for families—well-stocked and includes a family space with tv, lots of games, laundry room, and more sleeping spots. The cottage includes roomy bedrooms, two bathrooms, outdoor shower, large yard w bbq grill, covered patio, fire pit and corn hole game. It was thoughtfully decorated and furnished! The hosts were accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

This house is just so charming. Perfect space for 8 of us ! Super clean. Great backyard for a fire at night and perfectly located near all the wineries ! This is our second stay and it will not be our last !

This vacation rental was perfect for our 3 generation family. We loved that it was close to wineries and restaurants. The tiny beach down the block was fun. The house was spotless. The furnishings are new. Everything is fresh and comfortable. The beds are firm. The bed linens are soft and towels are plush. It is a wonderful place to relax and rewind. The appliances are new. The showers has plenty of pressure and lots of hot water. The backyard is huge and we enjoyed sitting around the wood burning firepit. Sad that the living room fireplace isn't functional but there's a gas fireplace downstairs . The only problem we had was with the TV. The property manager came immediately to help. We are older and together we couldn't figure out how use the streaming. I definitely would love to return one day.

In all the years I’ve been renting spaces on the north fork of Long Island I’ve never rented a house that was so well stocked and prepared for guests everything from baggies to a clean working barbecue and garbage bags a step ladder Bbq tools you name it just about every house I’ve ever rented we had to run out and buy those things at the last minute also we had a chance to meet the owner and she and her husband they were very very nice and very welcoming

House was very cute. Well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The kids enjoyed the basement withfoose ball and games, as well as the backyard and outdoor shower was a plus with the little ones. Beach was located about a half mile away, far walk but a short drive. 20-25 min to the hamptons and greenport. Close to farms, breweries, wineries and restaurants.

Lockitt Cottage was a very comfortable and cozy place to spend a week with our family. With our adult kids, we visited wineries and neighboring North Fork towns. We had dinner or lunch out a few times and cooked breakfast and sometimes dinner at the cottage. Loved having bay access at the end of the block to relax on the beach chairs and read. The cottage is close to Main Street so everything is easily accessible. Everything is in good working order and the cottage is perfectly well stocked. It was a lovely place to stay.
