Lovely property and location. Spacious and quiet. Kitchen needs a few more things to make it perfect - no dishwasher or dish brush just a used sponge- but the location and comfort of the large bedrooms and home are wonderful. Hostess was very responsive and kind.

Last minute trip
We were pleased to find this property when we had to make a last minute trip into Rhinebeck for a family emergency. This little farmhouse was very clean and the bedroom set up worked for 2 families. There were window AC units in all rooms but the upstairs queen room. The weather was pleasant and no one complained about the temperature of their bedrooms at night.

Upon arriving to the property the house was cooled off. When I went to put away some groceries that I purchased I found things what I assumed were left from previous renter, so I pushed them to the back of the fridge because I was unsure.
This weekend seemed to be unbearably hot and there were 5 of us staying in the home. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning for the upstairs bedrooms where my daughter and I stayed and the temp was 96 degrees outside. When I went to lower the thermostat downstairs to make it cooler I found it to be locked and the house was set to 78.
The home itself was convenient due to location as I was there to celebrate my oldest daughter’s graduation from one of the colleges, so luckily we weren’t really in the house much.
I would recommend this to someone looking for a weekend getaway in the fall when the weather is cooler but not during the late spring and summer months when it is hot out.

The wall of forsythia was absolutely gorgeous. Good stay. Very quiet. Check-in at 4 pm is not good, plus we received no instructions until we reached out.
