Lovely spot with a peaceful stream just outside the bedroom window. Only a short 13 minute drive to Okemo. Perfect for a couple on a retreat or ski trip.

Stayed here one night, on a not snowy day. The place was clean and cozy, larger than I'd expected (definitely still small though). The brook behind and the general surroundings made it feel like I could really detach from civilization here, but it's got a great proximity to Okemo. Overall it was a nice and memorable stay, and I'll look at this place again as a first option when skiing Okemo.

This is a great couples escape! The property is nestled on the West River. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck for happy hour and listening to the tranquil waters...extremely relaxing. In addition, the home is located close to quaint Vermont towns as well as scenic hiking trails. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that is looking to relax/decompress and take in the Vermont experience.

this was such a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and cozy. The balcony off the bedroom that overlooked the babbling brook was perfect. The sounds of nature surround this little retreat. Perfect time away from the everyday rush. thank you

I was seriously disappointed when we were hit with a snow storm and reached out for assistance in plowing. The manager of the property was very unhelpful and this stay did not meet our standards. A mouse was found upon arrival as well and nothing was done about that.

This home is in a lovely setting, even though it is on a moderately busy road, it is surrounded by trees and backs onto a lovely little river. It is pretty much as shown in the photos, the kitchen is well-equipped. It is small, and could not accommodate more than two people, however that was fine for us. The bathroom is tiny. We arrived after dark, and it was very hard to find, as the number is not visible from the road and the driveway is on quite a downward incline.

Cosy, clean alternative to staying in an inn, but comparably priced to an inn. You’re only told the check-in/check-out times after booking, which I find unethical. We were given 4pm/10am vs the fair standard of 3pm/11am.

The location is near quaint towns with lots of hiking, skiing, and waterfall viewings. Nearby priory for prayer and meditation. The house has complete kitchen, The very comfortable bedroom has a beautiful view of the river and has access to the deck overlooking it.

What a lovely little house overlooking the West River. Well-stocked kitchen and charming dining table, and the view of the river couldn't have been more peaceful or beautiful. I felt very at home here.

The perfect size for my partner and I. The back deck is a beautiful place to hang out and look at the river. The internet is very fast as well. Opening the screen windows in the bedroom in the morning to listen to the sound of the river was an amazing peaceful respite from city life.

Really cute house, perfect for a couple for a quick get away. This was probably one of the cleanest VRBO homes I've ever stayed in. Kudos to the cleaning person! I like a firm bed, but this bed, was like sleeping on a rock. We did not sleep well at all. Other issues with the stay- the washer and dryer are not hooked up as advertised in the listing. The listing alludes that the home is a retreat, but it is actually right off of a very busy highway and is very noisy with little to no privacy. We did not have hot water the first night and no water in the morning. Vacasa was not prompt with their response and through the VRBO app actually took 2 days to respond! A very clean house, well stocked and easy access to nearby ski resorts, but I would not stay again given the hard bed and difficult communications with the "host" aka Vacasa.

This adorable space if a perfect stay if you want to explore the area and ski. The only issue was the washer was not fully hooked up to use. The water to be discharged from the washer wasn’t connected to a well or sink to drain; the pipe was hanging over a pipe. Other than that, the place was great and it couldn’t have been easier to check in. Recommended!

The house was perfect! I was expecting a pool table and spa tub as listed under amenities. It was still perfect though. Wished we could have stayed more than one night. The land is breathtaking! We’ll be back when we can stay longer.
