The Renwick Mansion Guest house is a 1300 square foot three bedroom house that is part of the 4 acre Renwick Mansion estate. It sits on a beautiful partially wooded lot in central Davenport. The house has been part of the same parcel as Renwick since they were all part of the St. Katherine's historic district. Now, the Renwick Mansion is a wedding and event venue with this guest house on the property, and is also rentable on VRBO. If you plan your stay while Renwick is hosting a public event you can catch a concert or comedy show right next door! (Check the Renwick Mansion FB/Instagram page for details) On the first floor, the house has a comfortable living/TV room, dining room, kitchen and a family room with a sectional couch and projection screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics to make sure you can cook on the gas stove/oven during your stay. On the second floor there are three bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a TV, bedroom 2 has a full/Double size bed and bedroom 3 has a queen bed and twin sized bunk beds. There is a fenced in backyard with a brick patio/firepit, back stoop and grill. The lot is shared with The Renwick Mansion, and has plenty of space on the four acres that is near the guest house to explore and play yard games. There is on street parking and off street parking at the end of the lot shared with Renwick as well. The house is just a few blocks from the river and bike path, and a mile from downtown Davenport and The Historic East Village- both of them are great places to shop, eat or bar hop!

Nive property greet communication with property owner. Was relaxing watching the squirrels running theou the trees. One thing that wpuld make the property better is a washer and dryer

Overall the house fit our needs. We had a group in town for state bowling. I wish the only bathroom was advertised as upstairs if we had someone that was disabled they would not have been able to use the restroom. The one bedroom up stairs does not have heat so winter stayers beware. The floors are not level and very soft in some spots so we had to watch where we were walking. Parking in the back was ok but out front of the house you couldn’t part as we were told, due to the street being so narrow. Otherwise not to bad

Great location, close to everything. Loved the two living rooms. The only critique was the bathroom (the door doesn’t shut all the way and the shower curtains weirdly invade the bath space). Otherwise, we loved our stay!

My extended family of 8 (infant to 70s) stayed in the Renwick Guest House right before July 4th for 4 days. Our experience was very positive, hosts were the best in terms of communication and special favors. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. The grounds surrounding the cottage and neighboring properties are like a big park, very pleasant for strolling and being outdoors. Parking is very convenient (we parked in the Mansion lot, not on the street other than for loading and unloading). It should be noted that the property is not for those in wheelchairs or for those who have difficulty with walking on uneven ground. The narrow and twisty stairway is perhaps not for everyone. However, these features added to our experience—did not detract from it. My family experienced a wonderful and memorable stay.

The house was super clean and adorable, great space for 8 people and close to downtown. We had a business trip at Adler Theater and it was only 4 minutes away from this property. We will definitely use again

This house was just what we needed. It was very cute and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the projector tv and the cabinet of books and games. The beds we comfortable. The only bad thing was the shower was a little small.

My 4 daughters and daughter I law have an annual trading of a weekend together every year. The house we stayed in was very nice. It was kept up nicely and everything we needed was there. Restaurants and shops close by. It would be nice to have a night light in the upstairs hallway to help guide us back from the bathroom. Great property with history I’m sure!

We had a friendsgiving in QC but many of us were coming from out of town, so we needed some overflow sleeping quarters. The guest house at Renwick was exactly what we needed! We unfortunately didn't get to take advantage of the projector room setup, but will definitely remember this spot for next time. Thank you!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. There were 5 adults in our group. Our favorite things were morning coffee on the balcony off the kitchen and watching movies in the projection room. We stayed over a Friday/Saturday and went to the Farmers Market Saturday morning.

My wife and I just finished a 2 night stay this morning. Location was exactly what we hoped for. Communication with host was excellent. We parked in the back driveway area overnight as we weren't sure of the overnight street parking regulations. Air conditioning worked great. If you have an infirmity the shower/tub combo in upstairs bathroom could present difficulties but my wife and I are both 69 years old and it was fine. Enjoy Davenport.

Parking in front of the house felt cramped and unsafe, the street is not wide enough for street parking and cars fly up and down the street. Parking around back was unclear and required walking through the side yard up and down a hill difficult for my smaller children. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was nonexistent, and the shower curtain didn’t fully encircle the tub. The house very clearly has rodents. You can hear them running in the walls at night. Would have left if we weren’t told we would receive no refund for our stay. Would not recommend this space.

We were in Davenport for the first time to attend a family wedding. Three of us were coming for Missouri and two others were traveling from Michigan. This house fit our needs perfectly! It not only allowed us to spend time together as a family but provided excellent access to the sights of the town. The family room with the projection TV was ideal for watching movies and visiting, and the younger adults enjoyed playing the games the hosts provided. Thank you for a weekend full of charm!

We were 3 adult friends visiting Davenport for 4 days for the High A baseball games at Modern Woodman Park. The hosts are quick and detailed with responses and the property was just as depicted in the pictures. Very comfortable furniture - lots of space. We parked on the street directly outside the front door - very convenient. Quiet street. Beds are comfortable. Good bedding. One full bath with a claw foot tub and shower head. Projector room is very fun and the TV equipment is easy to use - instructions provided are easy to follow. Air conditioning worked very well and it was high 90’s during our stay. Towels and amenities were great. Two comments to consider - the staircase is old, steep and narrow. Not a problem for us but it could be. The claw foot tub requires a step up to get in - if you’re unstable on your feet, that may be a problem. Don’t hesitate to book this property.

We loved staying here. There is plenty of room to spread out. Our son was married the weekend following our stay and we had baking to do for the wedding. It worked out perfectly! Close to the river and the east village. We would most certainly stay again!!

This was a perfect space for us as we needed 3 bedrooms & some space to hang while we were at a conference in Davenport. My daughter enjoyed the projector to watch movies and we all enjoyed it for the Celtics / Warriors game. The hosts’ instruction for parking were easy to follow. The hosts were great to work with. Neighborhood was a little older than anticipated but it was fine. Would stay here again when in town!

Place was recently refurbished and they did a great job. Movie room was a hit, kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. My family of 7 stayed there and we had plenty of space. Dane and Sarah were outstanding hosts and responded very quickly when we had questions. Highly recommended!
