The Kona Islander Inn's central location puts you within walking distance to all of the restaurants, shopping and more. The inn opens up directly onto Alii Drive, the heart of downtown Kona. The unit has a pleasant island theme with fun décor to remind you of your tropical setting. The bedroom area is equipped with a comfortable, queen-sized bed, 42" flat screen smart TV, AC unit and ceiling fan. Please note: pictures were taken before the new TV was installed. There is also a pull-out couch to provide additional sleeping space. The private lanai has a cozy outdoor seating area to enjoy the gently blowing trade winds while you sip on a cocktail. The kitchen comes equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, cooking utensils, dishes and more. As a guest at the Kona Islander Inn, you will have access to the complex amenities including the pool, hot tub and BBQ grills. There are coin-operated laundry machines on-site with a vending machine to get quarters. The inn is also located less than 10 miles from Kona International Airport and Kona Community Hospital. Free parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Valid ID required for check-in at Front Desk upon arrival. We provide complimentary starter essentials including paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, and trash bags. We also have air mattress, pack and play, and high chair available for rent. The condo appeared as advertised. It was clean and cozy, perfectly located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the ocean. The host, First Island Realty, responded quickly to any questions. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Perfect little spot for our first two nights on the island. Close grocery for some food, and a kitchenette w all you need. Community grills are nice (and easy to use) Pool and hot tub hit the spot, and a nice little walkway takes you right down to the road with bars and shops. Will keep this in mind for our next visit.

Great location, clean n well staffed with friendly people who make everyone welcome. I have stayed 3 times here n 2 times in same condo which I love! I feel safe on my own and enjoyed the fact I could have my family with young children visit and enjoy the pool. Easy location to resturants n Farmers Market! Kona Trolley has stop close by for free transportion. Wonderful place to stay! Love, love, love, it!!!

The room was a small room but nicely put together. Ac unit was quite loud and no complimentary coffee or anything. Overall stay was nice, great location

Host not very available on weekends, check in is weird as it is all privately owned rooms. They will not hold your bags at the front.

This property is right in the middle of town. Each night we had a quick little walk through the property to get to where we wanted to go. The grounds are well taken care of and pool looked nice - we didn’t have time to partake, but it looked good. My only complaint (very minor) is that there isn’t much of a cutting board or sharp knife. Whenever I’m in Hawaii I like to enjoy the local fruit. It was a bit challenging cutting through the pineapple and mango with the provided knife. Otherwise, it was a great little place for the 2 of us. We’d book this property again.

Right next to downtown Kona, clean place, all of the amenities you need. Balcony was beautiful and the pool was great. Address in email sent us to the wrong place initially but googling the name got us there. The parking situation wasn’t great - had to park down the street every night but with downtown in walking distance it wasn’t too bad

Last day. The Front desk Member allowed me to Park My suitcase and My bag close to the Lobby and „kept an eye on My stuff. I came back, the suitcase was there But My bag gone. So take care when you leave your belongings in this accomodation. Not recommendable.

The unit was well cared for and had a great view of the pool/courtyard from the lanai. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants on Ali’i Drive. Beach chairs and a cooler bag available for use, but would have been nice to have an umbrella and/or beach towels as well. Very easy to check in and out and the front desk staff were very nice. Overall we had a great stay and would come back again.

Great location and quiet property

This is a fantastic location if you are looking to be within walking to 5 mins of everything in Kailua Kona. We enjoyed the access to Coconut Grove and all the other spots in and around. Within 20-30 mins drive to most Kona spots. The studio itself is compact (it's a studio!), but the beds were comfortable and the place was quiet even though it was close to all the restaurants. We did see some small cockroaches the first day but it didn't bother us and we took care not to leave open foods around. All in all, great value and fitting for a small family or couple.

Beautifully updated condo with all the extra’s. Perfect location in the complex with view of the pool and all the lush tropical trees. We enjoyed walking to eats and sightseeing. Loved hearing the ocean from our lanai.

We loved our visit to Kona. The studio was cute and charming. Right off the front enterance with a view of the pool. It was an excellent location right off the main road. Easy walk to all the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend staying here.
