I rented this property July of 2022. We got to the rental house with a packed full trunk with belongings, frozen food , refrigerator items & were "completely locked out"! The new access code system was locking us out! Supposedly the home owner had sent us a message of an alternate access into the home. We never received this message. The manager was helpful!

Prineville was a great base to visit central Oregon sights, including the John Day fossil beds, Ochocos, Smith Rock, and more. The house is well-appointed and comfortable, located in a quiet neighborhood not far from parks and amenities. Kai was super easy to communicate with and helpful both before and during our stay. Look forward to visiting again!

Our group of 6 cyclists biking cross-country on the TransAmerica Trail found Barnes Butte Bungalow absolutely charming and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Loved the farmhouse / eclectic decor and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The host was most accommodating in allowing us to check in early when we arrived in town much earlier than initially planned. We enjoyed dining and hanging out in the spacious backyard. The home was very clean and the beds super comfy. Would definitely recommend this property to others who plan to visit Prineville, OR.

We were in Prineville for a Family Reunion, this home worked perfectly for the 5 of us. Exceptionally clean and beautifully arranged. I wish I could give this location 6 Stars!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is nestled in a quite neighborhood with a lovely little walking path with views a block away. The property was clean, comfortable and well stocked to meet all our needs. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. Would definitely return again!
