Great location very nice home

We had a lovely weekend stay at this tasteful house near the beach. It has great access to local on-the-beach dining, Cedar Point, and a local beach park. Its dog friendly and on a very quiet street, which was great for our little family. The owners quickly responded when we had a question about using the TV. We'd love to come back for a longer visit to explore more of what the area has to offer. Thanks for the great stay!

Several of us stayed here for the National Matches. Accommodations were clean, well maintained, and the hosts were extremely communicative. Will look for this place again next year!

Very nice house close to a playground and beach as well as to restaurants and stores. Everything was easily within walking distance or a short drive. The house was great, and you can tell the owners put a lot of love into renovating it. Would definitely stay here again!

We love this house and everything it provides. We bring our dogs and love that we can walk to the beach, we cook in each night and the kitchen is well stocked. The refrigerator was out during our stay but the owners brought in 2 small refrigerators to use as back-up. We did loose some of our frozen foods that we brought (I didn't know the freezer situation until I was packed to leave) but I highly recommend this home for your vacation despite the refrigerator situation!

We stayed here for a week with out 3 kids (15,13,9) and dogs. The place exceeded our expectations. It was clean, and had great amenities. My family enjoyed vacationing here! It was a comfortable place, cute neighborhood, beautifully decorated home, and felt like home away from home. Communication was excellent, they were very responsive and attentive to us. Check in and check out was easy. The home is close to many attractions (Cedar Point, Great Wolf Lodge, african safari, beach area, gorgeous playground). We had a wonderful stay and made wonderful family memories. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!!

The cottage was clean , within walking distance of downtown Port Clinton if you would not mind walking a mile or so. The owner was very nice whenever I had a question he replied right back

This a very cklean charmingly decorated, newly rehabbed one story, three bedroom home on a quiet street. It was quite comfortable for 3 couples to share and provided a nicely equipped kitchen, a great breakfast bar for 4 to play games and eat at, and a smaller table for 4 for other dining. It is located one mile from downtown PC and it can be easily walked. Taxi service was available 24/7 on New New Year's Eve, which was a bonus. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect size home right in the heart of Port Clinton. We loved the layout and the renovations of their forever home. Our family would definitely come back!

I rented this property for an annual “mother and son adventure weekend” that my son (12) and I take every October. This year we had a day adventure at Kelly’s Island ( 20 min away). We were appreciative to find a home that was pet friendly for our family dog to come along. The property was very clean and offered everything we needed. Lovely kitchen and very comfortable living room, with a great smart TV. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and extra amenities provided by the host. The beds were AMAZING, and the sheets felt so soft, like sleeping on a cloud. Nice patio area and safe neighborhood. A lovely park is right down the street. The hosts provided many extra things like spices, cookware, extra towels and bedding. Plenty of pillows and even a closet of “extras” in case you’ve forgotten anything. Many thanks to the hosts for your graciousness and use of your cozy home. I highly recommend this property, I also recommend Kelly’s island! :)

We love Lake Erie in the off-season. The weather is beautiful for being outside and it's so relaxing. This was our first time staying on the Port Clinton side. The home was beautifully redone and clean. When you walked through the door, it just felt cheery. It was walking distance both to the local park and the water in a quiet neighborhood perfect for reading a book on the porch. The property manager was polite and responsive and normally responded within an hour or two to inquiries both before our arrival and while we were in town. This home is the perfect family friendly environment or a great cozy getaway for you and that special someone.

Home was clean and well placed to area activities. Exactly as advertised.

Dennis allowed us to arrive early since no one had been there just before us. That was wonderful to have a bit more time there to unpack and just relax. Comfy bed and couch and clean hm. Loved the bathroom. Kitchen had everything needed and fridge is large and sooo clean. The sound of trains now and then was also relaxing. Close to everything too...stores, lakeside, marblehead. Very nice experience!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It had everything we needed and owner was very responsive to questions. Close to playground, lake, ferry, grocery store, restaurants, etc. House was clean and had a great screened in porch. Neighbors were very nice too!

We had a great time during our first family trip to Port Clinton. We didn't spend tons of time at the property, but when we did, we felt at home. The property was clean and well stocked, which made our stay go extremely smooth. Loved the location (close to everything) and on-site laundry. Definitely was convenient for our family needs! The only two things that we wish were different is that the home had a king size bed, since we were two taller adults that didn't fit very comfortably on a full or queen size bed and that we were able to lower the thermostat at times, since the home got pretty warm and stuffy with the temps in the 90s during our stay. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The house was great for our family of 5. It was close to a lot of things or just a stroll around the neighborhood with our dogs. The amenities offered made this a stress free getaway without having to pack a bunch of extra stuff. We recommend staying here.

This house is very nice and clean. However.... They have a smart thermostat. So being summer obviously, everyone wants to keep their costs down, totally understandable. When we arrived on Sunday evening the thermostat was set to 72 degrees. And they asked to not adjust the thermostat, which we followed. Until it moved the temperature to 75 that night. So we reset to 72 and kept it there. BUT, they either did not change their thermostat schedule or the eco feature kicked on (This also happened on Monday, just not to the same extent) Unfortunately, I was getting things out of the car and not able get a picture of the thermostat, but two other people witnessed it. Now the reason why this is a problem was that my dog was still in the home. We left the house around 10am on Tuesday and got back around 7pm to the home being a toasty 88 degrees. I did not think to take a photo until it had already cooled to 82. (Pictured below) We went to Cedar Point and as it was a 90 degree day outside, and our temperature intolerant dog was in the home, safely kenneled so he could not move somewhere else to cool himself. Thankfully, he did not have a heat stroke. But had we not arrived when we did, it could have been much worse as it once again was a 90 degree day outside. 7/19. No windows were left open to keep the house cool while we were gone. I'm no expert on smart thermostats, but this completely ruined our experience that otherwise would've been a 5 star review. We followed nearly all the requests by the owners that were asked, which we're 100% reasonable. We have had communication with the hosts and they were apologetic about the issue. And I do believe it was sincere. I believe they will right this issue moving forward. Once again, the home was clean and amenities were great. Location was excellent for going to the islands and Cedar Point but our trip was almost ruined by feeling that this could have gone far worse.

Great experience, very clean.

A few snafus, we had to wait about an hour to check in because owner wasn't done with work at the house, then our check out day came, owner sent a message that they wanted us out ASAP so they could get house ready for the next group. Upon further thought, I regretted leaving so soon as they could've had the incoming group wait like they did us. It made me feel less important. Also, I contacted the owner about no trash bags he said they're in bottom of trash can or under the sink, there were NONE.

Clean, updated property, within walking distance of the lake, loved being able to have our pups with us. Would recommend and would stay again. Owners were very friendly, no issues!
