We loved this property. It was exactly as described and very clean. The area that it was located in was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely stay again.

It is clear the owners take pride in hosting. Their apartment is well appointed and well kept. It looked just like the picture and was so fresh and clean when we came in after a long day of driving. We just had a happy, long ‘ahhhh’ upon arriving😊 My daughter and I wanted an apartment over the shops on the street, European style. We miss Europe. Living over the ice cream shop on the Main Street of St Charles fit that bill on our budget…we were delighted.

The apartment was perfect for the 5 of us, we really loved that it had 2 bathrooms and individual beds upstairs. This allowed for all of us to have our own bed to sleep in and was very comfy! We attended a concert at Hollywood and it was the perfect spot to stay for the night, easy to access and the host was super easy to communicate with.

This is a fantastic little place located right on Main St of historic St Charles. Great location that is walking distance from shops, bars, and restaurants. Very clean and the owners were great!

Really cute place. We stayed for a girls' night and really enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very responsive and prompt with check-in. The only thing that I would not give five stars for is the comfort of the beds, but overall, I recommend it. Also note: lots of stairs.

This was a quick overnight trip but location in the historic downtown was a lot of fun.

Very nice and just as it was described. The downstairs ice cream parlor noise began around 6:30am, but we knew to expect that from previous reviews. There was alot of noise until around 1:30am due to a party in one of the venues. St. Charles is a great location for a weekend getaway.

I book all my VRBO's from reviews. So, I like to be 100% honest. This is a great apartment! Nice to be on historic main street with a lot of places to visit. Nice walking path near by. Great communication with owner. There is a lot of street noise (which we expected), there is a lot of early morning noise (like tables and chairs scooting on the floor), below the apartment and I assumed it was from the Ice Cream shop below. Understandably, the historic building did not cool down very well even using the ceiling fans (I think it reached 84 one of the days). This was a great, fun place to stay.

We loved this location, right on Main Street and walking distance to many great shops and restaurants. Not to mention the proximity to ice cream, which is always a bonus! Wonderful accommodations, and a great place to stay for a girls trip or weekend getaway. I would highly recommend!

This is a charming loft conveniently located right on historic Main Street in St. Charles. You can see the river from the upstairs room and it is very easy walking distance to Katy Trail and shops and restaurants. Very clean. It's right above the Baked Bear, so the loft gets wafts of freshly baked cookies throughout the afternoon and evening which smell delicious! I would stay here again.

Great location and super quick to respond and help us with our short comings on the wifi (smile)! Looking forward to staying here again!

We spent the evening in St Charles with family/friends and this was the perfect location to hit the bars and restaurants. There is one dedicated parking space but lots of nearby street parking for other vehicles. The loft sleeping options were perfect for our group. One thing to note is the stairs. If you have someone in your group who has difficulty with stairs, this may not be the place for you. There are 2 flights of stairs to get into the unit. It did not deter us, but is worth mentioning. We had a wonderful stay!

This loft was the perfect place for my friends to meet and relax. The checkin process was easy with great communication from the host. The place was clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed for the 4 of us. There were lots of options for shops and restaurants within walking distance. We were thankful for the nice, warm place to stay along Main Street because it turned suprisingly cold when we were there for our visit. We would recommend this place to others, but it is only accessible by a flight of stairs, so make sure everyone in your group is able to manage that safely.

It wasn’t as clean as advertised. Mold on the shower curtain, mouse droppings in silverware drawer under the clear lining. Safety was a concern. No lock on the door for the condo.

This beautiful apartment is right in the heart of the St. Charles action. Just step out the front door onto historic Main Street. Hosts were great to work with and very responsive to any need.

We enjoyed our time at this property. It is truly in the heart of downtown with many attractions/restaurants within walking distance. Check in with door code was easy and hassle-free. The historic setting and interior was lovely. We were there on three very hot days (even for July) in Missouri. It was warm in the apartment the entire time. Obviously, in a historic building and on top floor, this would be expected, but there was not a way to cool things down to a very comfortable level. Also, the parking place provided was close by, but a tight squeeze in a small lot if others are parked on either side. Both the parking lot/walk up stairs are significantly steep/narrow. Again, this is to be expected, but good to keep in mind. Excellent water pressure and kitchen features especially in an older building. Exposed brick is beautiful. Overall, our experience with check-in was easy, the apartment was well-located, and the decor/amenities functional. This was a good experience overall, but the decor/accessibility/comfort could be improved. The location is the best feature by far- especially if you plan to walk the historic district or need easy access to main highways to the greater STL area.

The location was just about perfect for us. Close to main street shopping. There was some street noise but everything was neat and clean!

Place was as described, clean and easy to access. Great location right in downtown St. Charles and a block away from the river. Had an issue with the lock but was remedied quickly.
