Situated in Foley, this attractive house for $660 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This beautiful spacious 5-bedroom, 4.5 bath home is centrally located. Not far from anything you may want to do during your vacation. Want to go to the beach, hop on Foley Beach Express Way, you're there in 15 minutes, to enjoy the white sands and Gulf waters. Shopping? The Tanger Outlet Mall is just a quick drive away from shop till you drop. The team has games at the Sportsplex? It's only 10 minutes away. Restaurants, the choices are limitless. Take your pick. If you want to relax after all these adventures, the private pool/spa setting at The Big Kahuna, is top notch. On the main level one of the home is a Living Area with comfortable seating, one of the two fully equipped kitchens, has a breakfast nook that looks over the pool, and a dining area. The master bedroom features a king bed, private bathroom, with a jetted tub and separate walk-in shower. The first guest bedroom on this level has queen size set of bunk beds. The second guest bedroom on this level features a king bed. These two guest bedrooms share a full bath. There is a half bath and a laundry room on this floor for your convenience. The second level of The Big Kahuna features an awesome space: A media room with eight theater chairs. Play video games (must bring your own console), watch football or a movie on the 86-inch flat screen tv. You can play hoops on the electric basketball game. Outside of the media room is a sitting area with a queen sleeper sofa. If you don't feel like going to the main level, use the fully equipped kitchen on this level of the home. There are two bedrooms on this level. Each one features a king bed and futon, for extra sleeping. There are two full bathrooms on this level of the home, accessible from the hallway. *This home is pet (dog) friendly. Fees and management approval apply. * After the close of the day and the family is all together they can enjoy grilling, playing outside, or just relaxing in the screened pool/spa area. You can also bring the fur babies along so they do not miss any of the fun. Pets will be approved by management. This home was designed for family, friends, and all the comforts of home, plus! Small weddings, family reunions, Ball Teams? No problem! The Big Kahuna can accommodate up to 21 guests! You can bring your trailered boat, or trailered motorcycles, this properties driveway will allow for multiple vehicles. ***Garage is not available to guest. ***Must be 25 plus to rent. *grass was overgrown but we didnt spend much time in the yard.
BUT we went to visit family we hadnt seen in a few years and everyone had plenty of space. Loved this house.
Internet was slow but we played cards and were in the pool or at the beach.
Thermostat for us felt warm but everyone else was freezing and we stayed up late and were up relatively early, so we slept hard enough we didnt notice it was warmer then we like it.
Most definitely would stay here again.

Garbage from previous renter was never picked up even after several calls. Had to leave garbage in garage. Grass was not cut until day before we left. Master bath needs update…shower floor has holes and mold in shower head. Internet service is weak. Furniture in 1st floor old. Beds were average at best. The price we paid was for a 4 star rental and we got a 2 star rental.

We got there early and was not able to get in because they were still cleaning the unit. Overall we loved the property but because of all the rain the lawn was over grown but when I call Patti she had her man come and cut the grass. If it wasn't for all the rain we had while we were in Foley, our vacation would have been amazing. Could leave more TP and other supplies but we just went and purchased them. We did love the house though!

For the price we paid and our previous vrbo experiences this was the most expensive with the least offerings.

I rented this location because the accommodations sounded wonderful. It has a media room, enough sleeping area - beds for all 10 adults and a heated pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub were outside and the weather the week before was below freezing. We ended up with frigid water so those two items could not be used. Jayne was very helpful. She sent over a maintenance man, then the pool service and neither could fix the problem. The pool fees were immediately removed. We had a great time and would definitely use this place again.

We had 14 people with our group and it was perfect! We had several teenagers and everyone of all ages had a great time and loved the pool area. There were plenty of towels, dishes, beds, you name it! The beds were very comfortable. I honestly did not find anything wrong with this place!

PERFECT HOUSE FOR ANY GROUP!
We had 5 small families combined for a framily vacation. We wanted something not on the water due to humidity, sand, bugs etc. This was an amazing house. The pictures are accurate. The beds are comfortable. The furniture nice. The salt water, heated pool and hot tub were amazing. There is room for everyone, without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen is adequately equipped and everything in the home was in working condition....we did have an issue with the thermostat reverting back to 78 degrees even after we cancelled the pre-programmed temps and the master bedroom does not cool well. I called the property manager and after giving a little bit of attitude, they sent someone out that day. The thermostat was fixed but the master was always hot. I asked for a window unit but they were not able to provide that. Bring a fan if you are planning to be in the master. I will say the check in process was weird. The cleaners didn't arrive until after 3pm. With a 4000 sf home, 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms to clean, you can imagine that it took a while. The owner happened to arrive to drop some things off and she invited us to swim while we waited, but they were not done until well after 5pm. At least we were able to cool off and get the vacay started after a long 12 hour drive.

Big Home Away
Most things were ok,but the place needs a good cleaning.We showed up at 4 like we were supposed to.Told the cleaning service to take their time but they left right away and evidently wasn't threw with the job..Some of the blankets were dirty also sheets.I had a weird feeling when the instructions were to leave sheets on beds.Also,in sweeping kitchen floor found two chunks of glass.Cloth seats at table were dirty with food.Around the pool there was cigarette butts and when they came to clean the pool they were still there .From Saturday till Tuesday we never had a garbage can all 5 were full.Location was good for the places we wanted to go and plenty of room for our family just disappointed with the cleanliness of the place!

This house was perfect for our family of 16! Each individual family had their own space and privacy. The pool and spa and the media room were the favorite parts of the Big Kahuna!

The house was nice and accommodated our large group well. The payment/checkin process was painless. The only problem we had that we mentioned to the rental company was the insane amount of bugs on the property, namely millipedes/centipedes - literally thousands.

The property was great for our family vacation and the location was so close to everything! The house had plenty of room and was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were perfect and we enjoyed the yard games as well. We would definitely book again!!

The week we were to arrive, we were notified that there was a pool heater problem and were given a very small refund. Its Mid-March and that makes the pool useless due to water temperature. Without the pool we would not have rented this home, especially for the price we paid. I cannot describe the disappointment our kids felt not being able to enjoy this advertised amenity and unfortunately the "credit" we received doesnt seem equal to the value vacationers with kids place on it and would probably be overlooked by anyone with children. After reading more reviews it appears there was an issue with the pool heater previously as well.

Great house
The house was great, it was unfortunate that the pool heater was not working and they couldn't get a replacement part during out stay. However, the communication was top notch and they refunded us some money for the inconvenience. If we returned to the area we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This is a large, well-kept property that proved to be a wonderful haven for my son's college soccer team who were playing in a tournament in Foley. They did not all stay overnight (we had people staying in all 5 bedrooms but not sleeping on couches and pull outs) but spent most of their time before, between, and after games eating, swimming, playing games and watching movies. We had a caterer deliver food each day and it worked out beautifully! Way better than any hotel room and close to all the local sports complexes

There were a few minor things we didn't like but nothing impacted our enjoyment and we loved our time here and would come again. Lots of space for all of us and we didn't feel like we were crowded at all despite being at max capacity for the listing.

The house offered all the luxuries of a resort but was better due to the privacy and HUGE YARD! Our families enjoyed kickball & whiffle ball as well as the pool and spa. The house manager was very helpful even when we requested the pool heat be turned on Easter Sunday thinking someone may respond the next day. She immediately replied and had the heater going for us within the hour.
