About this house rental
This home is modern and very relaxing with an open floor plan. The living room has a large flat screen smart tv, electric fireplace and a large window to bring in tons of sunlight. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets, a lot of granite counter space with stainless appliances that include refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, electric stovetop with overhead exhaust and microwave. The dining room has a oval table that seats six with a large window providing plenty of sunlight. The top floor also has two bedrooms. One bedroom is large with a queen bed, deep walk-in closet and a large window overlooking the back deck and wooded scenery. Another bedroom is slightly smaller with two closets and a large window looking out to the front of the house. The lower level has a large master bedroom with three closets and an attached custom bathroom with a very large walk-in shower. The family room has a large flat screen smart TV with two sofas and ottoman, a dry bar and patio doors that walk out to the large deck. This home also has a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Wow, I can’t even come close to articulate the right words on this wonderful property. If it wasn’t for the property, or the location, it was for the neighborhood. The kindest neighbors with amazing four legged furry friendlies I’ve ever been blessed to meet. Make sure you meet Gary and his beautiful lab buddy. Rodger is the greatest host, and is also ex military (Thank you for your service).

This house was the perfect house for my family to stay in. We are a large family with children of all ages from babies to teens, the rooms were perfect the deck was amazing for hanging out, the property even had a grill so we of course cooked out. This house offered all the amenities EVEN EXTRA AIR MATRESSES!!!!! Everything was spotless and anything you could need was provided. A couple of neighbors stopped by when we were outside and we’re so so sweet. Staying here made us all never want to go back home to Missouri. From the fresh coffee in the morning and foggy Mountain View, to the deer sleeping in the backyard while we hung out. This place is amazing and in an amazing area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Beautiful home that we've stayed in yet on all of our ventures out. The host was very hospitable. Everything was clean and in order and it just text away I could reach the owner and he was awesome. I can't wait till our next stay. Thank you Mr Roger for all you've done for us.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house worked very well for my sister with her 3 kids and myself with my 2 kids. We were all very comfortable with plenty of room to spare. It is a nice clean property that is close to shopping and restaurants. The host was excellent as well and very responsive when we had questions. Make sure you look for an email from the host with the door code. I missed it but he was very helpful.

Great for our family which included 2 teenagers and elderly grandparents. Clean! Close to downtown and easy quick access to major roads. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the double decks, house was clean! The backyard isn’t really usable but lots of wildlife to see from the deck chairs! At a dead end so not much traffic. Would definitely stay again!

Cousins weekend. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely place! It was quite beautiful and plenty of room for us to spread out. We played games on the deck and at the dining room table. We went kayaking on the Elk River which was very clean. Thank you for all the extra amenities made available like coffee (which I forgot) and sugar and cream, filters. We used the washer and dryer which was wonderful to have. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Flawless. The best fitting adjective to describe our stay. Rodger was attentive and quick to respond and keep us informed in regards to the availability of the property for early check in. The property itself was spotless. You can most definitely tell that there is not a single detail overlooked and both Rodger and the housekeeping crew make every effort to keep the property in impeccable condition for their guests. The two levels of the house worked perfectly for both my sister's family in town from Florida as well as myself and 4 nieces in town from Texas and the UP of MI, respectively. It gave everyone plenty of space to spread out. The fenced yard was just big enough to allow the kids,(6) ranging from ages 6- 15, room to run around. The air mattresses and couches made it easy for everyone to have their own beds and not have to double up. I would have no hesitation in booking Rodger's property again.

My mom and I absolutely loved staying at this property! Rodger is a wonderful host, he’s very communicative and responded promptly to any questions. While we only stayed one night, this is a place I could have easily stayed at for a week. I hope one day I have a chance to go back and stay longer. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Charleston.

This house was in the perfect location for us to venture into southern Ohio and sightseeing at New River Bridge Gorge. We enjoyed downtown Charleston as well. Rodger, the property manager, was easily accessible and made sure all our needs were met. The house was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the beauty of the lower deck overlooking surrounding woods filled with deer.

Great house and perfect location.
We absolutely loved our stay. It was spacious, updated with my favorite lighting ever and easy access to downtown. Even better because we were able to bring our dog along. Must also check out the restaurant at the bottom of the neighborhood called Barkadas, The Blended Table… AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

Surprisingly Nice
I say surprisingly nice only because of the location. The property is located in the South Hills area and is surrounded by much smaller appearing properties. We were surprised - even though we had reviewed all of the pictures on-line before booking, how spacious the interior layout actually was. Perfect kitchen area and two family rooms. Very enjoyable.

My husband bought raid & was able to kill most. Beyond that the house is beautiful and fully stacked with any supply, towel you can think of!

Great stay in Charleston
Rodger was a great host. Very communicative and worked to resolve a misunderstanding (on my end) immediately. We appreciated his friendliness and desire to make our stay the best it could be! The house was spotless and spacious. We had a group of 10 people and the listing on the app didn’t state that two of the beds would be air mattresses, so just be aware that if you have a large group, you won’t all have regular beds. It does say this on the website though, so if you look there you will be fully informed! Rodger also immediately contacted VRBO to resolve the inconsistency, so I’m sure that it’s probably fixed on the app at this point!

Great Stay!
Several of us rolled in from Indy, Charlotte, and Michigan to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. That house was perfect for our group (6 adults) to sleep and host in; we’ll be back!

Doing the Charleston
We loved our stay at this property. Plenty of room to move around. Beds were very comfortable. The house smells amazing and is as neat as a pin. It is beautifully decorated. Whether you pick up, eat out, or get delivery all types of food are only minutes away. The only thing I cooked was popcorn in the microwave.
We would definitely stay here again!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Roger’s VRBO. We all came from different states. It was accessible, clean, and a refreshing place to stay. We also felt very safe! We especially loved the comfortable beds and the comforters. We all slept so well! Roger’s place provided everything we needed and it was the solidifier for our perfect weekend. The only thing we had to do is where there were so many of us we left a car at the bottom of the hill at the park n ride to make parking easier. Easy fix. I knew roger was a phone call away if I needed anything and that was a nice feeling to have. He even left us water and coffee. Thank you Roger!
