We were in town for a graduation. This place was amazing! Everyone who visited us for the graduation party commented on the cleanliness and the outside.!

So glad we choose this home for my recent visit to Mobile. Matt is easy to communicate with and the property is peaceful and better than I expected. The bed is super comfortable and home was clean, neat and organized. I will stay here again for sure. Thank you Matt for sharing your home with me! I look forward to my next visit. Marsha

This property is great for a couple or a family with kids. Convenient location and beautiful view from the back porch. The living area was spacious, and the main bedroom was large with good views, en suite bathroom, and well-lit dressing area. The 2 smaller bedrooms were not impressive, particularly the smallest one that was dark and had no access to outdoor light. The pantry and kitchen were well-equipped. The home could use some small improvements, particularly the kitchen linens and painted areas outside.

My family and I look forward to visiting again.

The setting was beautiful - lots of birds for us to enjoy. The house was comfortable but lacked small touches that might make it more inviting to visitors. It also needs some repair particularly in the master bathroom. Overall we enjoyed “coming home” to the property after a day of exploring in the Mobile area.

This house provides a wonderful retreat. It’s quiet and peaceful with gorgeous vies of the Bay, but only 20 minutes to downtown Mobile. Sun rises and sun sets. We loved our stay.

The location of this house is what attracted me to it. I love that the back deck and back yard have a view of Mobile Bay. I loved the bird watching. Even had an Eagle flying over us while drinking coffee on the deck. I definitely want to come back for longer than 2 days next time.

Loved the view of the bay. Didn’t like the location. Not a lot to do without driving. Dining room table was adequate but the chairs were falling apart. Just needs some updating. Washer and dryer worked great. Dishwasher and air conditioner were extremely Loud.

Beautiful and relaxing place to stay! Matt was a great host and responsive.

Went to Mobile to play the Robert Trent golf trail with two friends. Magnolia Grove is about 30 minutes from the house, Lakewood Club is about 45 minutes. Downtown Mobile is about 20 minutes. The house for our trip was perfect. A lovely view of the bay. The beds were comfy (two bedrooms down with a shared bath and an awesome master suite upstairs). The kitchen was small but had what we needed. Big screen TV with comfy couch in the living room....great for watching the President's Cup. Nice deck with chairs, a table and gas grill outside. Communication with Matt was excellent. When we arrived, his son was mowing the grass. I checked the gas grill and noticed the tank was empty. Knowing I would be doing a lot of grilling, the son ran to the local gas station and got me a new tank. Great service. Very secluded so you have lots of privacy. We did order takeout from Bama Bob's which is less than a mile away. AMAZING!! If you are going to shop for groceries, stop before you get to the house at a Publix (preferred) or Piggy Wiggy. Some places close to the house but expensive and limited. Nothing for kids to do unless you bring your own toys and outside games. Enjoy!!

My husband and I enjoyed the home and the beautiful view of Mobile Bay. It was peaceful and quite our entire stay. My favorite spot was the swing. I really enjoyed watching the tides come in and out daily. If you are in the mobile area I recommend you stop by. We will visit again.

My three daughters and I had a nice 2 night stay here. The backyard is beautiful. We had everything we needed. We’d totally stay here again.

Great house for our friend retreat of 3 couples. We enjoyed the privacy and listening to the waves by the waters edge. We would recommend!

My husband and I came to the area on business, and were looking for something that was private and comfortable so we could also enjoy some moments away from it all. This beautiful home is exactly as described. Whether you're sitting on the swing under the lovely old oaks, barbequing on the back porch or relaxing in the living room, the views to the bay are amazing and the sounds of the waves will calm your soul. All of the furnishings, inside and out, were quite comfortable and we really wanted for nothing while we were there. Even though it is nicely secluded and tucked away from it all, everything you could want is within a short distance. The owner, Matt, made sure we arrived safely, checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and quickly responded when we had a question. If you are looking for a place to relax and recharge your batteries, this is most definitely the place. We look forward to coming back again!

A perfect weekend getaway. Our first trip to Mobile. We planned to do alot of sightseeing but adjusted our plans so that we could spend more time at this wonderful home. The view was spectacular. We were so happy to find kayaks on the property. Sunrise and sunset paddles were so relaxing. We loved sitting on the swing under the oaks and watching the pelicans fish. The house was so comfortable! We would definitely return here for another visit!!

This house is great for enjoying thunderstorms....and sitting listening to the waves....very clean...we met the housekeeper and she gave us tips for local places too....really nice lady. Matt was very easy to work with as well....gave us a long list of ideas of what to do while here and easy to work with our schedule. Places to go see....Ft Morgan...Dauphin Island (awesome sugar sand beach), Ft Gaines...Orange Beach is great....little too touristy.....Bob's Downtown Restaurant (breakfast sandwhich and biscuits n gravy!), Mo' Bay Beignets is a must...Debris for soft shell crab PO boy and the BEST twist on a margarita you will ever have.....and if you can still eat get the bourbon and white chocolate bread pudding. Go to Bienville Souvenirs to chat with Gary about the history of Mobile and get the map of a self guided walking tour. And Maple Street Biscuit Company...the Sticky Maple sandwich is OMG good! I think thats everything.....juat want to add....this was our first trip to Mobile...and we were sooooo taken aback with how NICE the people were everywhere down here...and just how much we loved it. And this house was sooo welcoming with the back deck..the lounge chairs...and the bbq.....you totally cannot miss with this house!!!!
