Steps past the 9th Street beach access, enter the extended private driveway to the cheerful hideaway. Delight in the baby blue porch ceilings; a southern tradition that gained popularity in the 1850's for being a harbinger of good luck. Pass through the oversized entrance doors, step into the main living room and feel at home, surrounded by beachy greens and blues as you overlook the private pool and water features. Peer into the open concept featuring a dining area, chefs kitchen and breakfast nook; also make note of the three bedrooms on this floor. One bedroom features a king bed and ADA compliant bathroom, complete with a roll in shower. Another bedroom provides a king with en suite bathroom, while the final bedroom on this floor features a queen and a bathroom shared with the living room. The gourmet kitchen offers professional appliances including double oven, double sinks and ample preparation space. Enjoy your culinary masterpiece inside or dine alfresco on the deck overlooking the pool or at the table in the screened in patio. This home features a stunning backyard oasis. A built in rock slide spills into a crystal blue lagoon just past a wooden foot bridge which accents the center of the pool. Relax in a shaded lounge chair with a perfect view of the zero entry pool. Although the pool and the spa are available for guest use, the spa jets are not able to be turned on nor is the heat. Ascend a large circular stair case, marvel at the two story foyer; dotted with handmade sconces commissioned by a local artist. Enter a second, oversized living area complete with butler's pantry and perfect for relaxing with the entire family after a long day in the sun. The second story also offers three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, the first featuring two twins, the second a double and the third featuring a king; as well as an attached private sitting area with balcony, which is often used as a nursery. From the second floor balcony, drift off on a chaise or get a group together for a game of go fish at the outdoor dining table. Climb the final spiral staircase to the third floor featuring five twin beds, spanning one bedroom and sitting area. From the third floor balcony take in the salt air as the Atlantic Ocean peaks through the tree tops. Though this home is ideal for entertaining, gatherings of more than 17 are prohibited. Please enjoy the grand porches, large living areas, and fabulous pool area with your family only. During the summer season, this residence may require a 7-night minimum and may require a specific check in day of the week. **Although the pool and the spa are available for guest use, the spa jets are not able to be turned on nor is the heat. The house is huge with plenty of room for our group of various ages to be able to spread out and enjoy time apart and time together. The two living rooms were great for the movie watchers in one and the socialites in the other. The outdoor areas were furnished comfortably with plenty of seating. The lagoon-look pool was perfect for kids and adults. The only drawback was noise from construction next door a couple of days, but not something that could be avoided. The one issue we had with the elevator not working after a power outage was resolved with a quick phone call to the property manager. The repair service was there on time and had it back in working order quickly. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. The supply of bathroom linens was generous. The ADA shower would benefit from grab bars. I loved especially the whimsical custom decor. The bicycles, board games, and books for entertainment were a wonderful touch. Thank you management and hosts for helping us make memories with our family and friends that will last forever!

We had a great time . The house was very clean and plenty of room for 8 adults and 9 grandchildren . the pool was a hit for all age groups. Walking through the dunes to the beach was a challenge at times with tents and beach toys, but overall a great vacation stay.

House was great for our group. Having separate living spaces worked great and plenty of room for our party of 10. Pool was a plus as it was still very hot. We used public beach at Lifeguard Station as it was just easier to bring all items to the beach than walking through the dunes behind the house. House also had plenty of bikes for us who wished to bike to enjoy, though we brought 2 with us. Beds/Lines were sufficient for our party. Kitchen items such as silverware, coffee cups and similar utensils need to be added for large parties. Only real issue was with a couple of the tv's in a couple of the bedrooms (evidently there was a bad storm the week prior which took out tv's), but Management addressed the best they could. We had an excellent stay and would recommend this property for large parties.

The Best part about the house was the pool area, it had a cute slide and looks like a mini lagoon. It was very well-maintained. There was an issue with the fridge and they came right away to remedy, so that was very helpful. There were two living rooms which was really nice. Lots of patio space and a little areas where you could relax. The cons are that the place needed a little bit sprucing up, the kitchenware was tired and missing several items. The grill was so dirty that it caused a grease fire and we couldn't use it. The unit really needed a deep clean. Also it was initially difficult to get on and off the beach because there were not any marked paths that lead you back to the beach, when you got used to the trail it was fine but it could use some sort of markers. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach so even though it says it's on the beach it really takes a little bit of time to get there. All in all it was a lovely home it just needs a little bit of TLC and better marked paths.

Lots of fun

We had a family reunion at this beautiful home for the weekend. Plenty of room inside and out. Beach was just a short walk from the house. Loved walking in the woods then you see the dunes and when u get to the top of the dunes. The view of the beach was breathtaking! One of the prettiest beaches I've seen. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this home on this beautiful island! We will be back.

Darling house in East Beach with easy walking to the beach, bike riding to town and great privacy. We were a group of 10 women and able to spread out comfortably. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful feature that we enjoyed immensely. Visitors should know the 3rd floor has spiral staircase and no bathroom so sleeping more than 10 means being on the top floor.
