Nestled in East Point, this charming house for $220 per night is a great option for your next break. Beautiful home, on a quiet street. Property is great for a families, couples trip or even singles looking for a quiet, cozy place to relax. If you want to spend less time in Atlanta traffic and more time discovering what ATL has to offer this is the house for you. All within 0.5 miles Tyler Perry Studios, the Belt line, popular Atlanta breweries, 7 mins from Mercedes Benz Stadium, College Football HoF, 10 mins from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Golf fans, practice your golf in the backyard green! Minutes away from the Atlanta University Center (AUC), and about 15 minutes away from Lenox Mall. Easily accessible by Marta Transportation and FREE parking on the property. Give us a call if you need anything!! This is a revitalized neighborhood just a stone throw from Tyler Perry Studios. Please don't be alarmed by a few vacant properties in the area, as they have been purchased by local developers and as in the process of getting renovated. Also the city of East Point is building a beautiful park directly across the street from our property. Our home is surrounded by nature, natural sunlight and lots of love. This newly renovated 3bd/2.5 bth modern home beautifully designed with luxurious home decor and backyard lounge. It is in the ideal location for your next stay! The home is equipped with outside security cameras and smart deadbolts for your safety and security that should put your mind at ease for a goodnights rest after a long eventful day. The ADT security system command center located on the wall inside the home, does not have any audio or video recording devices on it. NOTE: There absolutely NO audio or video recording devices on the inside of our home. Come check us out! With permission-we occasionally allows some small INTIMATE parties and events MAX 16 people. There is a $150 event fee for all pets, parties, events or gatherings. Please manage the noise as we do have neighbors, and if there are ANY COMPLAINTS OR VIOLATIONS, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!! I was disappointed with my stay. Upon arriving at the property, I tried to enter the code to open the door. However, the lock did not work because the door was unlocked. I was greeted by the smell of marijuana upon walking into the house. Finally, although the property appeared to be nicely renovated and very clean, none of the doors in the house would remain closed and I noticed a few bugs in the property. On a positive note, I will say the owner of the property was very responsive to attempts to reach him.

This was not my first stay at this property, which speaks to my level of contentment with the property and Kantroy, as a host. This experience was just as nice and pleasant as my previous. I booked this property for a "staycation" for my birthday weekend. I had a few friends over (with consent from the owner) for an intimate celebration. Not only were there a myriad of things to do that were offered (e.g, putting range, board games, streaming services, etc.), Kantroy was also super attentive and very considerate. I HIGHLY recommend booking this property or booking with this host, hands down!!!

The home is nice and you can tell that they put work into it but it definitely needs some work. When we arrived, the a/c-heat and tv in the living room were not working. My husband was able to determine that the breaker had been turned off. We also found some illegal recreational items left on the back porch which was definitely a concern to us having children. Our communication with Kantroy was amazing and he was very responsive to the issues inside the home.
Things that need to be upgraded are the kitchen sink is coming off the kitchen counter, there are many lights throughout the inside and outside house that are burnt out or just not working, the garbage disposal worked when it wanted to, the outside railing was super loose and ready to fall over, the outside items were broken or missing, the outside area was not maintained to match the listing picture and that’s just to name a few. The kitchen table needs to be replaced as someone cleaned it and it removed the coating and it’s super sticky and the motion sensor in the house tells you every time the front or back door opens and be ready to listen to the back neighbor’s dog bark for hours.
The park across the street and bring close to Atlanta were great pluses. With a little extra care, this home would be a 5 star stay.

The house was amazing. Everything that you could ever ask for was at the house. Never had any issues what so ever. The only thing to be cautious with is the wood stairs. When it is wet, they are slippery.

Check in process was great, landlord was awesome at communicating and very pleasant! This was home away from home. Clean, breath of fresh air, and super cute and cozy!

This property was inviting, clean and very comfortable. All the necessary amenities were in place. It satisfied all of our needs, the grandkids loved it! Our host Kantroy was very responsive when contacted. What we truly enjoyed was the location of the property's location to our places of interest. We will definitely visit this place again.

In summary, the owners are very eager to accommodate in a positive way. However, couple of suggestions to owners for future stays. We spent a lot of meeting time at the dining table. Please change the sticky table top and improve the ikea type chairs. One collapsed while I was sitting in it. The twin Ben mattress upstairs was unsuitable. The other beds were fine. The electronics were great but only a few remotes had working batteries. They published 22 house rules once we were booked. I didn’t understand why to leave house as we found it if we paid a cleaning fee. Again, they were kind and eager to please once we arrived and we very much appreciated it.

Beautiful home; exceptional face-lift to an older home. Rooms are spacious, 3 bathrooms to accommodate up to 6/7 guests. Great response time from owner. Convenient location(especially to and from airport). Did experience seeing a few pests in the kitchen/dining area. Overall, very satisfying stay...will recommend for others visiting "The A".

The property was nice very similar to the pictures. There were 7 of us and only 4 beds. The air mattress helped in that situation. The area was quite and close to attractions.

We stayed here for a convention at the Omni. It's located perfectly between the airport and downtown Atlanta. Though we didn't use the Marta, it's is exceptionally close to the property. I personally was happy that there were several vegan restaurants nearby too! The property was MUCH larger than what we anticipated. There were some minor findings that the host quickly resolved. We wish we had more time to hang out in the backyard rec area. Quite a bit of work went into it! No issues with the showers - water and pressure were perfect. We definately would stay again. Communication with host was exceptional and friendly.

My family and I fled Florida as Hurricane Ian was bearing down upon the Tampa Bay Area. We are grateful that the hurricane turned inward south of us.
The host was quick in communicating with us and graciously allowed us to extend our stay when the storm slowed down.

Our group had an amazing stay at Hawthorne! The house was clean, spacious and the backyard was a big hit for us and our dogs that were also able to join us on our trip. Our host, Kantroy, was always available with quick responses and provided great hospitality. We will absolutely book again when we return to Atlanta.

Quiet, safe, community for a family stay
My main concern when visiting Atlanta was finding a comfortable and safe place to rest and spread out between excursions. The Hawthorne was perfect for our group. It is located across the street from a newly updated public park with a playground in a community that is quiet with well maintained homes.
The home has a downstairs bedroom with ensuite as well as two bedrooms upstairs ( two twins and one and a queen in the other) with a large hallway bathroom. Either bedroom is big enough for the included air mattress if the bed arrangement doesn't work for your party. There were plenty of drawers, storage bins and space to move around. The whole house was furnished with comfortable useful furniture but free of clutter, which helped the clean open feeling.
We only watched TV downstairs (log into your accounts on their ROKU) but both queen bedrooms had a TV as well. Plenty of bowls to enjoy ice cream snack and a toaster and Keurig for our breakfast needs.
The turf backyard and putting area was a hit with our group and in cooler weather we would have spent more time outdoors on the patio set.
It was less than 15 minutes from the aquarium and airport with side/back road alternates as well as the freeway. Food and shopping was also 10+ minutes away which suited our needs just fine.
The host was communicative and very responsive and I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Overall our experience was great! Very small hiccup but it was dealt with very quickly and professionally. We really enjoyed the home and would highly recommend this home. The home is way better than the pictures. We would definitely stay again!

Great Homebase to See Atlanta
Beautiful house. Loved the decor. Very functional. Quick drive to MARTA station for an easy ride into the city. This house was not as "stocked" with helpful items as some (cleaning supplies or kitchen items) so make sure you bring everything you need. Overall it worked great for our trip to Atlanta.
