Situated in Show Low, this attractive cabin for $560 per night is a great choice for your next break. This pet friendly (check pet fee box), cosy, fully equipped cabin rental on Shaggy Bark Road resides in the exclusive community of Torreon in the White Mountains, AZ. The gated, luxury resort community is nestled in the pines, next to the National Sitgraves Forest and a 5 minute drive into Show Low. Also a 45 mile drive to the second ski resort in AZ: Sunrise Park Resort for winter skiing, sledding and many more activities in the snow. Renter-friendly check in at 1 pm, check out at 1 pm! 24 hours between guests. I manage 6 other rentals in Torreon and what I love this particula cabin for its open floor plan, high ceilings, with a wall of bright windows onto the creek and pines views. A large portion of the wrap around deck is covered for seating, with an oversized hammock on the side of the cabin for extra quiet time in nature. There are pet gates in front of the stairs to keep your 4 legged family member on the deck. A swing, corn hole, new BBQ and large teak table complete the outdoor entertainment and enjoyment for everyone. Come sit or lounge, listening to the Ponderosa Pines and relax. Walk through the front door to a vaulted ceiling and THREE rows of windows that bring the outside in and make the whole living space bright and cheery. Comfortable living room seating with an extra, extra large TV with cable channels over the gas fireplace (switched), soft throws and pillows allow you to curl up and cherish the evenings inside. Most of the cabin space is in this open main floor, the ceiling over the kitchen (for recessed lights) adds a loft space open to downstairs. A game table with Chess, Backgammon, Checkers and a closet full of family games add to the entertainment options inside. A fully stocked kitchen with new pots and pans, wineglasses, Keurig and drip coffee machines, waffle maker, crock pot, gas cook top and all the gadgets you need to prepare lovely meals. Microwave, dish washer, pantry, washer and dryer, soaps and paper products are all provided to make this THE ideal mountain home vacation. There are upgraded features throughout the cabin, like the real wood dining room table, wood branch stools and chairs, painted pinecone sink and wooden floors in the living space; all contributing to the cabin feel. The Master is on the main floor with easy access to the deck and the hall that leads to the outside through the laundry room or the garage. The ensuite Master bathroom has double sinks, a jetted tub and separate shower/toilet area, and a fully tiled shower. A comfortable arm chair has been added in the corner for late night reading or putting your socks on! Bathroom 2 downstairs is a full bathroom with shower that can be used as a half bath for guests or an extra shower for overflow from upstairs. Take the stairs to a loft area that is positionned over the kitchen ceiling and overlooks the living and dining space.There is sofa seating and a large TV to watch cable or for gaming and watching videos. Books, cards and puzzles are in the cabinet. The Queen bedroom upstairs has black out curtains over blinds as well as a mounted cable TV. The Cowboy bedroom has twin beds over twin trundles and a King bed. The shared bathroom in the hallway has a tub/shower and cabinet storage. This cabin's light, open living space and large deck are unusual features in Torreon. It is the perfect get away for a family in the summer when the temperatures are in the low 80's due to the 6,500 elevation and in the winter for skiing at Sunrise Ski Park, only 45 miles away. Come enjoy all four seasons in the White Moutnains and check this place out! It will not disappoint.

We enjoyed our stay. House was just the right size. House was well furnished with amenities. House was always cold downstairs and very hot upstairs. Would be nice to have access to playground and pickleball courts.

Loved the setup of the house. The wall of windows made it seem like you were always outside - which I loved. Plenty of space for the whole family with lots of games. Would stay again! Good location within Torreon, close to park.

One of the best houses I’ve stayed at in Torreón. It was clean, had a lot of kitchen necessities including spices, and even had 6+ matching wine glasses… a rare find at VRBO’s. Nice back porch with swing and hammock, perfect spot for the rainy days. Close to the Kids Club, pickleball courts, Club House.

Our family had a fun-filled vacation while staying in this very clean and well equipped home in the pines of Torreon. The three bedrooms were very comfortable and fit our family perfectly. Having the two twin beds, with the king bed, in one of the bedrooms was perfect for my daughter, her husband and their two young daughters. The other guest bedroom with the rocking chair was perfect for our son, his wife and their baby. The large back deck with the hammock and hanging swing was where we all spent time relaxing, having meals and enjoying the summer afternoon rain showers. Stacey, the property manager is very communicative and gave helpful information regarding the property. Me and four of my sisters went up for the weekend. The cabin and neighborhood were beautiful. The cabin is very well-kept and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and typically the pots and pans leave much to be desired, but in this cabin they were high quality. The beds were comfortable and a little touches the details around the cabin made for an amazing stay. We would definitely recommend this cabin.
