Located in central St. Simons Island and just a few miles from the beach, you can easily hop on the bike path and ride to historical landmarks, shops and restaurants. We had a good stay. I was most impressed with how well the property management company, Hodnett Copper, handled any issues we had. They were very good to work with and I'd use them again in the future.

Home, location, accommodations were great. However, there was a serious roach infestation problem which made use of the kitchen an unpleasant experience. If our wives had been with us on this golfing trip they would have left! It would have spoiled their whole vacation and frankly it was not too pleasant to deal with for the 3 men on their 3 night golfing stay there. We must have killed at least 20 or 30 roaches and that was only half of what we saw. There were even roaches in the freezer!

Easy in and out; could use a few more cooking utensils and kitchen amenities. Ice maker pump needs repair; and, had to fix frig alarm ourselves. Light switches need labeling! Overall, good property, it would be great with a few changes.

Absolutely perfect in every way
We stayed for 8 days, and usually when renting for that long, some issue will occur, but not at this property! Check-in was a breeze, and everything about the house was perfect for us. Cleanliness was immaculate on day one! The house is decorated beautifully, with all the amenities you can think of. They have done a top notch job of making sure your stay will be hassle free. The back deck was a favorite place of ours in the evening, and the open space living/kitchen area is huge! We had 7 people and never once did we feel cramped. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation
We stayed the week with family for a beach vacation. Overall the property was a great choice for us. Loved the open concept floor plan and updated decor. There was plenty of space to spread out; the screened back porch was nice in the morning to drink coffee. The kitchen could use additional pots and pans as well as cooking utensils. There is a charcoal grill but no grilling utensils.

Beautiful clean property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in great working order and beautifully decorated in a modern motif. Very comfortable. The screened-in porch is amazing. Highly recommended.

Sea Island Golf Trip
This house was perfect for what I needed. The rest of my group stayed at "The Inn" which was about 1 mile from the house - and also close to the Grocery Store and a great little Pizza / Sandwich restaurant. When headed back to Sea Island, I hope that I will have an opportunity to stay there again.

This house is very beautiful and tastefully decorated, however the cleaning service is severely lacking. Upon entrance the house smelled of wet dog and sea water. The floors were incredibly dirty, my one year olds feet were covered in dust from walking on the floor less than an hour after our arrival. The floors clearly hadn’t been swept or mopped in weeks. The smell was clearly from previous tenants coming back in from the beach. The tv remotes were sticky and dirty. There were dirty shot glasses and wine stoppers in the kitchen drawer. When I opened the drawer under the wine glasses the smell of alcohol rushed through my nose. The cleaners also failed to ensure we had working remotes in the bedrooms and when I called property manager it took them two days to come fix the remote (we needed a new one). There was hair in the bathtub and an old dirty bath mat from previous tenants in the bathroom. The dishes and silverware had also not been properly cleaned.
Overall this is truly a beautiful home but for the sake of everyone’s health, more time should be taken to clean the home properly between tenant stays. They seem to be rushing people in and out to make more money with no concern for sanitation.

Nicely updated
The house is very attractive with a small, private backyard. Kitchen is very large. Could use an actual coffee pot as the Keurig doesn’t make strong enough coffee for some. ;) Lots of seating at a large dining table. House is very nice. We would stay here again.

This property was well appointed and had a great layout. The main living area was roomy and the screened in porch was delightful. Quiet residential mid-island location, easily accessible to the bike path and shops / restaurants. Fenced in yard was private and well maintained.
