Nestled in Alto, this charming house for $194 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to Blue Mountain Hideaway, the perfect escape for family and friends! Located just off of Ski Run Road, this would be the perfect place to stay for a vacation of skiing or snow fun at Winter Park. This three level cabin boasts incredible views and provides three bedrooms and two baths. It is adorned with antique furniture and beautiful touches throughout, making you feel right at home during your stay! The large deck provides comfortable seating and a large propane grill for outdoor relaxing or dining. It has an open living room and dining area, perfect for getting together. The upper level of the home is a large sleeping area with three beds and a sliding glass door leading out to its own balcony. The lower level has an office with a sitting area, full second bathroom and garage available for guest use. This home also has easy exterior access entry with ramps leading up to each entrance. Blue Mountain Hideaway is also one of the few DOG FRIENDLY properties available, allowing 1-2 dogs to join you on your vacation (with an additional fee)! This home does not have cable TV, however there is internet and smart televisions for your streaming services. Home has a regular drip coffee maker. Blue Mountain does have central AC for the summer months. Bedding: 1 King, 3 Queen, 1 Daybed (twin) This home is K9 friendly and we do require a $50.00 (plus tax) pet fee per pet. Please contact us if you are bringing your K-9 so that it can be coordinated correctly. Please note: Hummingbird Cabins, LLC is the host and who will provide customer service after you've booked your rental home through VRBO. Therefore, be advised that our cancellation policy as well as our inhouse policies and procedures may differ from VRBO. All guests will receive our Guest License Agreement that outlines our policies and procedures and are asked to initial and e-sign before receiving their rental information (address and access code). We ask that you please read our policies as we will adhere to them once you've booked your reservation with us (even when booking through a 3rd party entity). Ruidoso, Alto, and surrounding areas: Submerse yourself within the towering pines of Lincoln County and watch local wildlife such as elk, deer, wild horses, turkey, birds and more in their natural habitats. Plan a day basking in the stillness of our national forest while hiking, biking or fishing, golfing at one of our multiple golf courses or spend a fun night out on the town at one of the area's local attractions! You'll be happy you took a respite from the concrete jungle. Please read! Our cabins include basic cable or satellite television, basic cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer (if applicable- please look at the amenities), towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. *Linens and bath towels *Extra blankets and bedding *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs. While our kitchens are fully equipped with glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, etc. this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, or condiments. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available. If not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only are: *One (1) travel sized each of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, and facial bar soap, *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on holder and two (2) stored in bathroom. Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable) are: *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on holder and two (2) stored in bathroom, *one (1) travel sized bar soap and/or facial soap, *one (1) hairdryer in the home. Basic supplies in the home: *five (5) All-Clear laundry pods, *dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited) and three (3) Lemi Shine rinse agent in single use cups (for homes with dishwashers), *liquid dish soap in (at minimum) a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers- check amenities to ensure the home you booked has a dishwasher), *two to three (2-3) rolls of paper towels, *two (2) trash liners in each waste basket; one (1) prepared in basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under sink. We encourage guests to please be mindful of the supplies we provide and always bring extras as housekeeping does not deliver more than what is required to be left in the homes. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood burning fireplaces.

The property is in a quiet neighborhood. We saw wild horses and deer roam around, which was amazing! All the essentials were present in the rental home. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for a family of 5.The door lock with key pad was a bit tricky to open. The couch and cushions need a proper cleaning, so do the spiral stairs. All in all, we enjoyed our vacation at the Blue Mountain Hideaway very much.

Great stay…nice and quiet…beautiful views. Enjoyed the morning sunrises. Even got to see the deer and elk while sitting out on the deck..cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Would come again, maybe next time with our whole family. 100% recommend.

We love our stay at the Blue Mountain cabin, the area was surrounded by nature and we saw a lot of deer nearby. This cabin is very close to the Winter park for tubing which was very fun (5 minutes) and near the road to the Apache ski resort (30 minutes). The cabin was well equipped and it had a nice homey feeling.

This was a great cabin for our week away. It was one of the best cabins we have stayed at in our 20+ years of coming to Ruidoso. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed how quite the neighborhood was and away from most traffic/noise. The cabin is pet friendly and the top deck has a gate which made it nice for our dogs. The only (slight) negative was the spiral stairway to the upper bedroom. Glad all the younger ones stayed upstairs and had to use the stairs! Would definitely stay here on our next family vacation!!

The cabin was wonderful! Even in the off season, there was plenty to do and lots of beautiful scenery. It was clean and comfortable. We were far enough out to feel like we were in an adventure but also close enough to Ruidoso that it was convenient to go do things. We will definitely return to Hummingbird cabins the next time we are in the area
