Living room has 55 inch high def wide screen TV, surrounded by elegant entertainment center with CD, DVD, VCR and surround sound. Kitchen boasts all new granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. Master Bedroom has beautiful brand new dark wood 4 piece bedroom set. New 20-inch tile and upgraded flooring through out. On the rear patio enjoy the views while cooking on the stainless barbecue. The entrance patio has been beautifully landscaped with desert theme. Monterey amenities include 36 pools and spas, 19 tennis courts, clubhouse with restaurant, and 27 seven holes of Golf. Entrance to Monterey is through one of the two security guard gates. Wireless high speed internet access and unlimited long distance phone calls to US and Canada. 'The River' shopping Mall is minutes away to fine dining such as Flemmings, P.F. Chang's, Cheesecake Factory, The Yard House and casual dining as well. Sit and enjoy coffee at Starbucks at The River early morning or grab a quick meal after golf at Baja Fresh. Overall this was a perfect choice for us and our puppy to spend the last two weeks of our six week California holiday. Communication with host was excellent...very attentive. Pool and hot tub were well used and the location near all of the Palm Desert shops and attractions was excellent.

Very easy to make arrangements. Owner was great. No problems. One comment. A lot of large artificial plants in every room. Very dusty. Hard to keep clean. Caused a bit of a musty smell and lots of sneezing. Property is great but would be perfect without the dusty plants.

Great location, beautiful views. Well stocked home every thing you could possibly need is available. Excellent communication with the owner. It is a home on the older side but we feel that is reflected in the price when compared to similar properties in palm desert. We brought friends with us that had never visited the desert before they were very impressed with the property. A good time had by all.

A perfect place for our week long escape from Northwest cold. Located on a fairway of Monterey Country Club golf course. Had everything we needed inthe kitchen to eat at home. Minutes from the main shopping and restaurant area .Owner was very responsive and helpful with good recommendations for activities. Couldnt ask for a better place and very fairly priced

Wonderful stay. Please note the second bedroom has two TWIN beds not FULL size as stated in the description! Very well stocked and great location. Glenn is easy to contact & an attentive owner.

Condo was great, clean and neat. Location excellent, close to restaurants on El Paseo, Agua Caliente and Sherman's deli 2 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again.

Well appointed condo in a good location, just a few steps from a pool

We had an awesome stay at Glenn and Mary’s! Everything was exactly as listed in the write up for it. It was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. It was super hot while we were there and so having the pool just steps away, and to ourselves almost the whole time was an added bonus.
Glenn kept in touch to see how our stay was going, but not so much that it felt intrusive at all - just a great host wanting their guests to be enjoying themselves, which we certainly did!
We’d love to come back again . . . hopefully next year.

My son and I enjoyed staying in this property while we were in town for a week long tournament. It was clean, well cared for and the communication was great. The kitchen was well supplied. At one point I needed a pair of pliers and there they were! My only advice for other renters is that when it says to touch the side of the thermostat to adjust the temperature that literally means the side/plastic casing (we kept trying to touch the side of the face plate 😆). If we return to the area we will stay here again.

Nice Place, Nicer Owner
Very nice, well equipped , comfortable condo in a great and quiet location very near a pool. Good views to mountains from living room and patio. Condo has everything you need, even including pool toys. Glenn could not have been a better, more responsive owner. We had a great stay and will return.

We stayed at 235 Las Polas in Monterey County Club. Disappointed in patio, as it was so dirty when we arrived we could not use table or chairs. Felt unit inside could have been cleaned better. We never wear shoes in our home and did not there either. Our feet were dirty from walking on floors. Unit was nice, but to be honest we have stayed at several other properties and felt units were cleaner and just overall nicer furnishings. We would not stay here again. We took pictures when we left to show no damage by us. We are charged $150.00 for cleaning which is outrageous considering it was not that clean when we arrived. We paid nearly $1,000.00 for three days..... We will not return.....Sue and Rusty Miller

We wanted a quiet desert getaway for a few days and this property was perfect. The condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool was steps away and never crowded. The host was very attentive and thoughtful. We loved having a garage so our car wouldn't get too hot outside. We brought our small dog and that worked out great too. We definitely want to come back for a longer stay next time!
