This is a 2 bed 1 bath, in unit laundry condo with great proximity to the beach with everything you need to cook from home! Just One Block Back from beautiful Long Sands Beach, sits this adorable condo. Long Sands Beach has long been a destination for summer vacations. The water is clear and the beach is clean. Family friendly, this beach offers miles of sand and oftentimes, great waves for boogie boarding and body surfing! There are adorable small restaurants, ice cream shops, tee shirt shacks and penny candy. Yes, it is a bit throw back, but just what your family will love and long remember. The cottage itself is newly renovated with bamboo flooring throughout, all new furniture, new wall mounted flat screen TV with cable, wifi, new bathroom with 4 foot shower, new range and so much more! This house is perfect for solo adventures, couples, and families! Great views are just 400 steps from your front door where you can literally see for miles over pristine blue ocean water! We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, a bath mat, trash bags, basic cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in a shower pump, light weight summer quilts, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and 1 roll of paper towel. All 3 of the mattresses and all of the pillows are covered with pillow and mattress protectors. Enhanced covid-19 cleaning protocols in place! After renovating the entire interior, in 2021 we added new exterior siding and some new outdoor furniture. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic things you should need during your stay like a toaster, two kinds of coffee machines (see photos for types) pots and pans if you feel like cooking, plates and cups, and naturally...wine glasses! If there is something that you think should be there, or that you are looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will make our best attempt to accommodate your needs within 24 hours of the request (within reason). Enhanced covid-19 cleaning protocols are in place. Please ask for our full cleaning check list. There is a Window AC in each bedroom, a fan in the main living area. There is parking for 2 cars, free Wi-Fi and YouTube TV via Roku, but no cable. There is also heat available throughout for those chilly spring or fall nights. This duplex is great for 2 families if you'd like to go on vacation together but have your own space rent both sides! Both sides are 2 bed room 1 bath and sleep 6 people. We also rent this property for a 6-9 month term in the winter months feel free to inquire about that as well! What an amazing experience we had. Everything was so clean and they had everything we needed. I could have probably packed less. The property manager was receptive to all texts. I would absolutely come back. Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay.

We had a nice stay here, house is smaller than I expected which was tough with husband and 2 growing boys. You need to bring your own linens, which I knew but just FYI. There is a washer/dryer in this unit which was super helpful. The beach accessories was basically non existent- there was 1 chair, a broken chair and another one too large to bring to the beach, a broken beach cart and one boogie board. I had to call my husband to bring our own beach chairs and umbrella. The beds are very uncomfortable and really need to be updated, I couldn’t sleep in the “master” bed it was so bad. The bathroom floor is uneven and has soft spots. Overall, we had a good trip, but this wasn’t my favorite place to stay. Checkin process easy and communication with property management was easy.

It had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great - the whole house stayed cool. Quick walk to the beach and quite area was a plus. The only downside was the musty basment. No place to put close, and if they fell on the floor - you'd want to wash them again because the floor was damp.

Communication was easy. Place was clean and well stocked. Very clean. A little smaller than expected. Walk to beach close enough. Beach itself isn’t the sandy area and town has really spotty Wi-Fi as a general heads up.

This was a great little rental an easy walk to Long Sands beach and Sun and Surf Restaurant. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The cottage is adorable, I particularly loved the skylight bathing the main living area in natural light. All amenities were working fine and it was nice to have a washer and dryer available as well as an assortment of beach chairs and a beach cart. Cozy and quaint - we loved it! Thanks for the super fast communication during our stay, too!

My family stayed here for a week. Weather was excellent. House is very close to the beach which is nice with little kids. The beds probably need to be updated soon but other than that we had a wonderful time!

I was hoping we would be okay with this rental. It was unfortunately too small for our liking. The beds weren't comfortable. The basement was creepy and very wet, it was raining our whole stay though. The kitchen sink smelled pretty bad. Thankfully we only stayed two nights.

Walking distance to beach great. The grandchildren enjoyed Maine. The property was nice and suited our needs. Ordered linen/towels prior and they were in the condo when we arrived. would have liked air conditioning in the other bedroom. We enjoyed downtown and going over to NH. Walking the beach was nice (my favorite). We all actually went in the water and the kids got floats to ride the waves. Got to see a wedding by the lighthouse. Now missing the lobsta and clams!

Great beach cottage one street off of the beach. Cottage has everything you would need, we stayed for 9 days and it was just like being at home. Comfy rooms and living area and very clean bathroom. 2 minute walk to the beach and easy access to stores nearby for anything you need. Will definitely likely be staying again.

Celebrated my parents’ anniversary with a week at the property. Fully stocked with anything you could hope for, clean, and just a 3 minute walk to the beach! Convenient and comfortable, and very easy to work with!

Renee made the trip very easy for my family. The binder full of where to go and what to see in York Beach was very considerate and was right on the kitchen table when we got there. York beach is a lovely place. Arcades and lovely general stores and ice cream stands. We were surprised to learn that Long Sands (where the house is) is all rocks by early afternoon. The sand completely dissapears and one is required to open his beach chair upon the stones. Before early afternoon the beach is lovely but the sand is wet and packed save the few yards the town tills nightly. The house has absolutely everything (save linens) a family could need for a beach vacation. The bathroom was large and clean with a low clearance tub. We like to stay active and York is very jogger friendly. All in all our week at the Beach was super enjoyable. Many thanks to Renee for being such a wonderful host:)

The rental was immaculately clean and well equipped for our stay. Beds were comfortable and air conditioner in living area and one bedroom worked fine. Other bedroom had two windows to open to get a cross breeze with a fan provided to give a little more circulation. Neighborhood was quiet. Long Sands beach is a relatively short walk away. Owner were very helpful with tips for the area. Would certainly make a return trip to this rental home.

The cottage has a great location just a short walk to the beach and a beach side restaurant. The air conditioners made the hot weather not an issue when sleeping at night. Although half of the house had another unit it was well insulated and we could not hear the other guests. Well appointed with everything you would need to dine in. Thank you for the book with the hikes and things to do in the area! We enjoyed a few walks.

House was clean and perfect for 3-4 people. It had great parking and was close to the beach. The grill and kitchen amenities made cooking throughout the week easy as well!

We got everything we needed to enjoy our short stay in York. The location is fantastic, we can walk easily to the beach. Renee was very helpful and got back to me quickly everytime I wrote her. I recommend this place!

We had a great stay at the cottage, just a short walk to Long Sands Beach. The cottage is as described and well-appointed. The neighborhood is quiet, mixed with summer residents and other rentals. We will rent this property again, we miss the beach and Nubble Lighthouse!

This was our first family vacation in many years. We had never stayed anywhere other than a hotel. I found the HomeAway site easy to use, and communication with Troy and Renee very open! The house is on a quiet street, less than 1/2 mile from the beach! Everything was exactly as pictured on the site. We were close to everything we wanted, but found the beach to be our favorite place to hang out! The house was really clean, very well maintained, and had everything we needed. We would stay here again!
