About this house rental
COMPLETELY UPDATED house on a quiet, deep water cove! This completely remodeled home is on spacious lot with plenty of room to relax and play. The private pier in deep water that can accommodate a boat or wave runner. Bring your own boat and launch from one of three nearby public boat ramps or boat rentals are available nearby at Lake Effects and Lake Norman Boat Rental. There is also covered seating on the pier to hang out and relax. The kitchen and living room are an open living space with plenty of seating. The house has a full size washer and dryer. Have fun kayaking on one of three single adult kayaks, a children's kayak or a tandem kayak. You can also spend quite time on the stand up paddle board. There is a clean gas grill for a cook out after a day of relaxing on the lake. You can roast marshmallows or have a fire around the fire pit! The water is a gradual slope to around 11' at the floating end of the dock.

Stayed here for a week in February to visit my brother and family in Sherrils Ford. We travelled from Seattle and couldn’t have picked a better place. Greg is a great host and reached out to ensure we had all we needed. The place is newly remodeled/updated, super clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The view from the deck and the dock is wonderful to wake up and drink coffee with the lake front and center. The house and property is clean clean clean and tidy inside and out.
We will definitely return hopefully in the summer when we can take advantage of the lake and use Kayaks.

We stayed over Thanksgiving to be near our Grandson, it worked out perfectly and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the property!

We had a wonderful time at this home on Lake Norman. It was just as pictured. It was clean and the communication with Greg was great!! We relaxed and recharged. We look forward to coming back in the summer so we can take more advantage of the lake.

My family enjoyed our stay very much! The house was super clean and full of everything we needed for our stay. We used the kayaks on the very quiet and peaceful lake a couple times, we had a fire and made s’mores, we played corn hole, we watched movies and sat on the deck with the retractable awning. It was really nice and we plan to return next fall.

We celebrated our 2 grandsons turning 13 here - they love to fish and swim. The home & location were just perfect on beautiful Lake Norman. The home is very clean and decor is beautiful with LVP flooring throughout. Kitchen was stocked very well (better than most rentals we have been in). Quiet neighborhood and private setting with trees surrounding. Owners were helpful without being intrusive and provided many amenities. Thank you.

The house was updated, clean, and included everything you need for a terrific stay on Lake Norman. We were two families visiting our college daughters, and we had plenty of space and amenities. The private dock was perfect for our boat rental. Great communication from the host. We would definitely come back!

Greg was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. I booked the wrong dates and he was very accommodating in adjusting our stay dates. He gave us a great recommendation to rent a boat! The house is very modern and beautifully updated. Great Lake access and the channel is very peaceful.

Our week was AMAZING!! The home is super clean and well-kept. It had all the amenities anyone would need - from kitchen supplies to a gorgeous deck and lake "extras." We spent a lot of time at the dock and enjoyed the quiet cove, used the kayaks, stand up paddle board, floating mat and fishing. We also splurged and rented a pontoon boat from Lake Effects Boat Rentals and would do it again - super easy process and loved being out on the water for a couple days! Our family truly had the best time in this rental on Lake Norman, and we hope we can make it back again some day!

We had a relaxing time at this clean and well-furnished home. The features were exactly as described in the listing. The cove is quiet and deep enough for boating, with a good sunset view. We took advantage of the kayaks, stand-up paddle board, swimming area off the dock, everything. Enjoyed a fire in the fire pit one evening and enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the owner-provided long forks. We had such a good time, we’ve booked it to return next year.

We were a group of 5 ladies in our late 50’s who wanted a nice getaway on Lake Norman. We were so pleased with everything this home had to offer. We kayaked, paddle boarded and floated in the lake. The house was clean and very well appointed. Greg was very nice and easy to get in contact with. We all would recommend staying here!

This home is so cozy and clean with a beautiful view of the lake. Kayaks and paddle boards kept us busy and everything we needed was at our fingertips. Good restaurants and activities close by as well!

Aside from this house being very clean he is very quick in responding to you. ( just needed to apologize for my alarm going off at night as I felt terrible for the neighbors) thr house is equipped with everything you need! Not to mention the price. I highly recommend giving them a chance ! We hope to stay here next year when we return !!

We loved the lake house! It was my husband, me, and 6 and 8 year old grandsons. They live in Davidson, and we live in Texas, so it was an opportunity for some grandparents time (without mom and dad).
The boys especially loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit . Uncle Gaelen (lives in Mooresville) so he had just a short drive to spend his days off with us, and he built a great fire. We also really enjoyed Mountain Creek Park. We're a family of foodies, so the convenient Publix was great for groceries. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and serving.
The house was spotless, and the beds were super comfortable. All in all, it was a perfect 3 day stay!

Sparkling clean. I am a clean freak, so I get picky about where we stay. This place was immaculate. Perfect decor, perfect space, I can't say enough good things! Greg was easily accessible and answered any questions quickly through text. We will be back! Perfect get away for our family. 2 teens, mom, dad, grandma and grandpa... Plenty of room. Lots of stuff close by (food, grocery, coffee, etc).

My husband and I stayed at this property along with my daughter and mother-in-law. The property had everything we could have wanted! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking at home. We enjoyed the dock and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The property was very clean and newly renovated. It was beautiful! Greg offered to let us check in as soon as the property was cleaned and ready and approved a last-minute request for us to stay an extra day, although, we ended up having to go on home as originally planned. Everything about our stay was perfect! Thank you!

We spent one glorious week at Greg and Melanie's place. I had wet hair for the whole week since I spent the majority of my time in the lake. We had everything we could need. Greg is a super host and very easy to communicate with. The weather was perfect for the week we were there and I felt totally blessed. Thank You :)
