Such a wonderful mountain house…especially for a group of long-time friends celebrating 75 years!! It was very comfortable and cozy and had everything you would need for a family…down to a great book selection! I would definitely come back to this property. We loved Black Mtn. and enjoyed shopping and eating our way through the town!

This house felt like we were at our own home. We were very comfortable and the neighborhood was excellent. Everything is newer and updated. I would recommend staying here and we lol forward to being back.

This home was modern with good WiFi. We had grandkids so the trundle beds, toys and the fenced in backyard was wonderful There was even a little table out back for the kids. The great room was spacious and the outdoor seating was nice. The house is at the end of a quiet road and the kids spotted a bear. We enjoyed our time here!

Good property for a large group. Needed to be cleaned better, many ants in living area, and the central A/C was inoperable and replacement portable units were inadequate on hot days.

Enjoyed our stay at the property. The AC situation is not real good. During stay the temps only got to around 80 so wasn’t too bad. I would not stay here in summer as the home has an odd AC setup (individual room units). We never really could get to work and I suspect even if they do it doesn’t cool all that well. There are several window units scattered throughout the home. If I had been here in summer heat and had to use the portable units would probably just have checked out. Home is nice and neighborhood is great.

Everything was clean and nice on arrival. We couldn't get the air to work (mini-split system). We thought it just needed more trouble-shooting. After spending two hours trying to get it work we opened the windows. Called the next morning at 7:30 am, no response by 12:00, so I texted, they acknowlegded my text at 12:22. But had not heard about any resolution at 2:26 so I called. Jackie said they would call me. Nothing by 3:44 so I texted again. They acknowledged my text at 3:51. Then at 3:58 they texted they would call me. I received a call at 5:00 saying they were bringing portable a/c units. We left for the evening and they were there when we returned. But they were poorly installed and kept popping out of the unit. We finally tired of dealing with them and opened the windows. Additionally, the dishwasher was broken. Which I know they knew about ahead of time. I am not sure if they knew about the a/c but one of the people I talked to mentioned that a part was on order so I suspect they were aware of this issue ahead of time. I am not happy about having to spend so much time with maintenance and trouble shooting while on vacation. We will not be staying here again or at any property managed by Vacasa. Which is too bad because it is a really nice house and location.
