From the moment you arrive and smell the island fragrance or feel the gentle ocean breeze you will not want to leave. This Maui Ocean Front two-bedroom condo is just steps from the beach and has A/C units in each room to keep you cool on those warm Maui afternoons. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and eating out on your own private lanai. The open living area offers a queen sofa bed for additional sleeping with plenty of space to relax after a long day at the pool and beach. Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean in the master bedroom that features a king bed with a full ocean view and private access to the lanai. The attached master bathroom has a large mirror, vanity, walk-in shower, and a full size stackable washer and dryer. The second bedroom has a queen bed with large closet offering beach and ocean necessities. The second bathroom has a vanity with a large mirror, nice lighting, and a walk-in shower. All this just a few steps from the ocean. The property offers a solar heated pool with two BBQ areas for outdoor grilling located on beautifully landscaped tropical oceanfront grounds. The rooftop BBQ and dining area provides stunning views of the Ocean, Haleakala, the West Maui Mountains, Molokini, Kahoolawe, and Lanai. It is an ideal place to watch for whales in the winter and relax and enjoy Maui's breathtaking sunsets. Onsite is the authentic Indian restaurant - Monsoon India - with a full bar and spectacular views. Settled right next to the restaurant is the heated pool and another set of BBQ grills, all oceanside and behind the pool on the perfectly manicured grounds are the shuffleboard courts. Just steps away is Kalepolepo Beach Park home of the Historic 16th century Royal Fish Pond of Kalepolepo. The fish pond is the perfect place to play and snorkel, or sit and relax on the beach observing outriggers canoes and paddlers entering the sea. The pond is the home to many sea turtles who like to relax in the sun on the beach. On the other side of the complex is Keaka Beach with just a 5 minute beach walk to public tennis courts and the other beaches of Kihei. The complex is a 15 minute drive from the Airport and major shopping including Costco, Walmart and Target. And is just minutes away from the local shopping and dining areas of Kihei. We first visited Kihei on the island of Maui 20 years ago and fell in love with the stunning sunset ocean views, variety of restaurants, shops and the close proximity to the most amazing beaches on the island. We loved staying at Jenn's condo in Menehune shores. The condo was the perfect size for my husband, myself and our adult daughter. It was clean, well stocked and a great location to jump off from to do activities. And only 20 minutes from the airport.
There was great communication with Jenn. We loved the rooftop grill area. We used it twice during the week to watch the sunset and cut down on our expenses. We were shocked at how many others of like mind there were. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful! And then we were treated by the welcoming of a new day ceremony and the blowing of the horns. We watched the whales from both the balcony and the roof, my personal favorite thing to do!
We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jenn’s unit on our first trip to Maui. The apartment is located on the top floor of a 6 floor building with a balcony facing south west overlooking the ocean. The apartment is well equipped with pretty much everything you could need to make the place feel like home. The kitchen has all you need to make meals at home and the communal bbq on the rooftop adds additional cooking and dining options if you want to eat your meal outside. We found both beach chairs, beach towels and some beach toys that we could use while there which was a big bonus!
The small beach right below the apartment complex was perfect for both our kids (aged 6 and 9) as well as the grannies that came with us on the trip. It was enclosed by a rock wall and the water was shallow enough for all of them to wade into without risk of being toppled over by any waves. It is also a resting ground for local sea turtles which allowed us all to watch them up close!
Additionally the unit is only a 20 min drive from the Kahului airport, close to restaurants in Kihei and not a far drive from Wailea where the fancy resorts and restaurants are located. We would often drive to a new beach every day to try out different spots for snorkeling and would be close enough that we could still return home after lunch and spend the afternoon down at the beach below the unit if we wanted more beach time.
All in all we had a wonderful stay and would love to return one day!

What a view!
The unit was clean and well stocked.
This was a great jumping-off point for exploring the island.
I was surprised by how loud S Kihei Rd is. We could hear traffic from balcony and open windows, and it was as loud as the ocean waves.
We were able see the Grand Wailea New Year’s Eve fireworks from the back bedroom windows. The view was partially obscured, but better than I’d expect given the distance.
I’d stay here again. Mahalo for sharing the property with us.

We have the most wonderful time on Maui and staying at this location. It was just the perfect spot and convenient to grocery and restaurants. But also not too far from other activities as well. The condo was just perfect for our family as well.

We had not been to Maui in 4 years so had some familiarity with the island and wanted to be in a good location. This unit was really good, clean, updated and well stocked with essentials. The location is great being on the water side of S Kihei Road and having a really nice beach, huge lawn and pool area. The complex is very well maintained and the staff was friendly. The view from the balcony and the main bedroom windows is awesome. It exceeded expectations.
The unit owners Jenn & Steve went above and beyond with communication, helpful hints and follow up to ensure everything was perfect. They responded right away to any question we had. We would definately recommend this unit for a vacation and would stay there again. Maui is wonderful and when the place you stay at is this good it makes for very memorable vacation.

The house was perfect. You can walk to the beach which is perfect for kids. Super shallow mellow water. The home was clean and has everything you would need including beach toys and a wagon to pull to the beach. Quiet area. Highly recommend. Would stay there again!

We absolutely loved this condo and almost cried the day we left. The place was stocked with absolutely everything we could need, and things that other people left behind, like sunscreen, saved our first day since we got into Maui at midnight the night before (due to delays) and just wanted to enjoy the beach before heading to the store. The condo was super clean, the view from the lanai was magical, and the beds were comfortable. The building isn't on the greatest beach, but we decided we even liked that about it, because it was the beautiful view without the crowds and noise of the more popular beaches. And the turtles that visited every night and morning made it absolute perfection. It isn't within walking distance to any restaurants or shopping, so you will have to drive everywhere, but there are
great restaurants and shops just a couple of miles away. The positive of that is that it is MUCH quieter than the other condos on Kihei Road. This is our 3rd time visiting Maui. We stayed on Kaanapali and in Wailea, and we much prefer Kihei because of its central location to everything and less expensive restaurants. Make sure you go to Coconut's Fish Cafe and Nalu's. We went to each of them twice. Fantastic food and reasonable prices! Thank you for a great vacation! We were so sad to leave!

Trip Date: 3/12-3/23......This was our first time to Maui and this condo did not disappoint. Ya it might be a little dated with items, but the location on the beach with a pool is perfect. We did a lot if driving to different adventures and this condo was pretty much within 45 minutes to everywhere we went. Except for our hiking adventure in the Halakaena National Park, that was about 2 hours away. But definitely worth the drive if you are a hiker. The airport is a 20 minute drive is all. Our trip to Pearl Harbor was worth the long day, but Hawaiian Airlines was spot on with there flights that day.
The communication with Jenn on the VRBO rental was awesome. And getting into the condo with the door access code is easy, no keys to hang onto while on the trip and the elevators were a big plus. Also, the place has three A/C units, a must if going when it is warm. If your looking at a place without A/C I would take a second look. It is muggy. Please book this place if you get a chance. It could hold a family of 5 pretty easy. They had everything in the condo, towels, beach items for kids and adults, nice kitchen with all the accessories you could need. The two bedrooms with A/C was perfect for us. Thanks to Jenn and the owner for a great trip!!

We love staying at menehune shores and this condo was a perfect fit for our family of 6! All of the extras were provided and it made going to the beach that much easier. Not to add being able to see sea turtles every day at the fish pond.

We’ve stayed at Menehune Shores numerous times, and we always try different units. This unit is by far the best one so far! Nicely updated, Hawaiian interior, fantastic kitchen, fully stocked toiletries, great beds, great linens; fridge was left stocked with basic condiments which is so helpful! Plenty of laundry soap and detergent; lots of paper towels and toilet paper. Awesome beach equipment. Fantastic views and sunsets. Great functioning AC. This unit is a total winner!

Well located on the beach with nice pool and rooftop terrace. Unit was well equipped tho could have been cleaner. Great views of whales and sunsets from lanai. Lanai was crowded w furniture and hard to use on a hot day with AC unit blowing hot air. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed with our kids (6, 4, & 2), and it was a perfect place for them! They loved the cove, and we saw sea turtles every day. My husband and son also enjoyed fishing off shore. The whales were very active as well. The view off of the patio was excellent for sunsets every night. The only thing that wasn’t “perfect” was that it’s located in a more residential area, so you have to walk 1+ miles to get to shops/coffee. No big deal if you have a car!
Kihei is a great location for exploring the island, I would definitely stay again.

Apartment was very clean, well-maintained, and up-to-date appliances. Also very well furnished and stocked with kitchen & cooking utensils and equipment. View from the Lanai was great - we saw whales almost every day and had a beautiful view of sunsets. The apartment complex was also very well-maintained. Employees were constantly cleaning.

It was a great location with great access to all of Maui! The town of Kihei is my favorite! The condo was well stocked with all the basics (coffee/coffee filters/paper towels/TP/beach towels/beach toys/beach chairs/small cooler/dish soap/ice packs/ice maker/soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotion). Very clean! Can easily hear the waves from the condo!

Very easy checking in and out. Condo had everything we needed with us having a 17 month old child. Location is quiet but close to all the shops and restaurants in Kihei. We enjoyed breakfast and sometimes dinner on the balcony looking out on the ocean. We loved that we could just walk to the beach plus there is a pool if you prefer. The complex had a good Indian restaurant beside the pool area…very convenient. Jenn was very helpful and kind.

The check in process is a bit cumbersome. We were told check in was at 4pm but we were provided the entry code prior. We arrived at about 2:15 and I guess someone was still inside maybe cleaning. The person just said "Not till 4pm" without any further explanation. The property manager sent a message later and explained the situation which was fine. Its also odd that you have to get the parking pass from the office but they close at 2pm. Would be nice if host had a temporary one in the home. The home is as it appears and is very spacious and does offer a good ocean view. We appreciated that the home was well stocked with everything you would need including most basic food items for cooking. We also appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella and beach towels. The AC worked well. We would have liked to have more bath towels besides the one set in the master. There is also quiet time starting at 10pm but this didn't seem to be an issue. Close to food so all in all it was a good stay.

This place is amazing. Clean and stocked well. We packed way to much and the condo had everything we needed. Definitely listen to your wife and stop here before hitting the grocery store. The sunset views are amazing. The condo is clean and gorgeous. The location is awesome. I feel like you are basically in the middle of everything. If this place is available and you were like me and looked at hundreds of Vrbo places stop now and book this one. We loved everything about it. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

The lanai was so relaxing at night with the ocean so close! The rooftop views were stunning! Jenn was very quick to respond prior to the trip and was quick to let us know the pool code changed the day we arrived.

We had a wonderful time with our family in this beautiful Maui apartment. The host was very accommodating. They let us check in early and gave us great recommendations. The place had a beautiful view and was clean. It had coffee, snacks and toiletry needs which was a plus!

Property is right on the shores. Very short walk to the small beach, pool, and bbq area. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need, extra pillows and blankets, extra towels. There was some sand toys available for my toddler. We had one person that is in a wheelchair and he was able to use one of the bathrooms. Shower was a little tight for him, but made it work by sitting side ways. Fridge had an ice machine. Washer and dryer in one of the bathrooms. AC both worked well in the bedrooms but less so in the living room. I assume it's from the doors opening and shutting and the area is bigger, but it cooled it good enough. We did not hear much of the neighbors at all. Overall it was a pleasant stay and will definitely book this unit again when we return.

This unit was so beautiful, clean, and well stocked! The beach on site is absolutely perfect for littles! We were bummed that the pool was closed for annual maintenance but other than that we had an absolutely perfect stay here. Highly recommend!
