Door de schilderwerkzaamheden matig verblijf

Goede kamer, sfeervol ingericht , goed bed

Er werd volop geschilderd. Vooral aan de buitenkant maar het was een continu in en uitlopen van schilders. Enige mate van privacy aan t kleine zwembad was er niet!!

Très bon séjour.

Très bien situé à proximité de la mer et dans la ville blanche, l'établissement est bien décoré, agréable, avec une terrasse sur laquelle sont pris les petits déjeuners. Quand nous y sommes allés, la piscine était en réparation. Les chambres sont spacieuses.

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré avec du vrai café plutot que du café en poudre, et une forme de buffet où l'on voit ce qui est offert. Cela serait plus en rapport avec la qualité de l'hostelerie.

Overall it was a excellent trip along with my family.

Excellent Location, close to most of the beaches and best restaurants. Polite staff, respond to all queries very quickly and provide all information.

Breakfast Quality could be improved and there are very limited items. There is no facility for making coffee (Kettle, Milk, Coffee/Tea and Sugar could have been provided). In rest rooms, as there are no exhaust fans, deodorants should have been kept. No door mats provided Infront of rest rooms.

Beautiful family run heritage hotel

The decor, the plunge pool, the staff and the owner all very welcoming and helpful. The place is very tastefully done. The rooms are spacious. Good recommendations from staff for local places to visit and eat.

Not going to stay again not a great experience

Location of the property

Food , cleanliness , room was too small and the height of entrance was very small and it gave feeling of being claustrophobic. No good parking for vehicle.

Everything, dont know where to begin with but there was a horrible sweet orange cheap essence that made the entire room unbreathable and claustrophobic and nauseating, staff was not helpful, room was not enough for 4 people, bed linen felt uncleaned and uncomfortable

A beautifully restored old building in a quieter little pocket away from the hussle and bussle of the main town but close enough to walk to everything. The staff were even nicer :) 😄

Disappointing experience despite it being recommended to us by friends

La Closerie is well located in the White Town. Roshan was nice and helpful to organise our trip.

Despite being highly priced, the overall stay was average. The place was being renovated during our stay (noisy and messy), no proper check-in/check-out, not enough table for breakfast, etc…

Not a very great experience!

The location of this property is just amazing. The property ambience was superb. Staffs and hostesses are very hostile and provided warm welcome. They provided most of the requirements for my family in no time.

1. Quadruple rooms are not very comfy as the upper beds didn't get any air through the fan or AC. 2. They provide exactly the same breakfast everyday so if anyone is planning to stay longer then ready to have breakfast from outside to change your taste buds. 3. The streets are very dirty. 4. This property is good for a couple but not good for a family having senior citizens or kids due to having limited power back which is inverter/ battery i.e. not enough for the whole property.

Clean rooms, but run down property.

While the room was clean, the whole property looked run down and not maintained well.

The property was not maintained well, with dirty white walls, tiles falling from rooftops, old flower pots or flowers just put in a bed in their grow bags. Lots of small details felt off and not cared for.

Best Staycation at Pondy

Recommend this one for its unique style and architecture!! you will love every part of this villa.. rooms are very clean and well maintained.. Sudhakar was a very friendly and helpful guy and also helped us suggesting great cafe n places nearby..

Don't be misled by the positive reviews alone.

What I liked was the location and the place was okayish. Can surely be better for the price they're listed.

I didn't like the price at which this place is listed. I didn't like that reviews about this place, honestly misguiding. No car parking. This has to be noted. After we reach there, we were told we will have to park somewhere else. I didn't like the breakfast. I understand its just a bed and breakfast spot, but I expected a lot better reading the reviews. Just some bread toast, oamlett and fruit bowl doesn't qualify to be a good breakfast. Especially at the price for which I stayed. I didn't like the AC in the room. Two fans and ac and still we were sweating. No entertainment unit in room. I don't understand how come there is not even a single TV in that room? Slow responsive staff. Truth be told, I'm really disappointed about this place apart from the location. I really have no idea how come this place has this kind of positive review.

Boutique hotel, comfortable stay in the heart of white town.

location, pool, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Breakfast was not as expected. for vegetarian breakfast we only got croissants, bread butter and fruits. bathroom fixtures could be serviced as shower wasn’t working properly.
