Central location, clean and modern rooms. Japanese toilets.
Rooms are a bit too small.
And only 1 access card given per room. Without the access card, everything switches off in the room. And you can't use the lifts without the access card. That was all very inconvenient.

The service is sub par. No one answers telephones. I actually wrote 4 emails to them to make a reservation and not a single reply - then even tried calling numerous times with no answer.

Beautiful rooms, ocean view & bath! Really nice decor & a fun rooftop too. Great facilities- gym and spa. The cleaner is also great - Tuan!!
The food unfortunately wasn’t good, both the Japanese restaurant and room service was unfortunate. Also there’s no closet available.

Communication was very poor. We tried to contact the hotel propri to our arrival to ask a few questions we needed answers to before checking in but we had no response despite trying on booking, via WhatsApp, via email…
There can often be a wait to get on the lift and the lift doors close very quickly and don’t seem to stop even if a person is getting through the doors. This was concerning for us as we travel with two young children.

The facilities were amazing! The pool over seeing the pool was our favourite.
There were 4 elevators at the property but only one was ever working at one time and there are long waits for the elevator.

Comfortable clean room with good views over the city. Breakfast was nice
Upon arrival we had to pay for our room immediately (in contrast to our stays at other hotels in Sri Lanka). Despite arriving at 5pm, way after check in opened, we waited around half an hour for our room to be ready. During this time we had half hearted apologies and no offer of complimentary drinks, we were just expected to wait - very frustrating after a long journey and it being our last evening of what had been an amazing holiday. Customer service and communication was poor. Staff also didn't know whether breakfast was included in our room or not.

Alles war sauber, und roch gut. Es gab wasser und tee auf dem Zimmer. Die klimaanlage war super. Wer auf hightech steht wird sich über die toilette freuen. In laufweite gibt es einen kleinen einkaufsladen
Das zimmer mit meerblick hat auch direkt einen bahnhof vor der tür. Die züge hupen jedes mal wenn sie ankommen und wecken einen auf. Ebenso empfand ich das ett als wirklich hart.

Clean, modern hotel with a fab rooftop pool and bar. Our balcony had a lovely view looking out onto the sea and over the small train station. Room was spacious and we liked the bath.
Staff could have been a little more helpful and the price they offered for airport transfer was very high, so we got a tuktuk instead.

Great spot, with fabulous rooftop pool and bar. Rooms were clean, comfortable and very well equipped.
The food overall was average. Some dishes were really tasty (the spicy mushrooms) others were not great (the chicken tikka wrap).

The room was comfortable. The location and view was good.
We had to wait about 40 minutes to be checked in. When we finally got our key we went up to find another guest just checked in to the same room. It was a very awkward experience. Even though the hotel was busy this is not an excuse. It also made us question our safety if anyone can use a key and walk into a room that is already occupied. The staff didn’t seem remorseful but we appreciate the upgrade we got for the inconvenience caused.
The food was also overpriced - it wasn’t the best quality of food.

Zwembad was heerlijk, personeel super vriendelijk en de kamer echt fantastisch. Heel tof ingedeeld en schitterend uitzicht.
De sauna is aan de man-kant van de spa en daardoor helaas niet toegankelijk voor vrouwen. Jammer

Despite arriving after check-in time, it took the staff more than 45 min to check us in and even then we only received the key to one of our 3 rooms. The other 2 room keys were delivered another 45min later. We went to wait for them at the rooftop pool where there re no changing rooms so you have to show up in your swimsuit already. There are very few places to sit. This is a big hotel and the main attraction is the rooftop bar and pool but it is very small for the size of the hotel and the pool gets crowded fast and it is difficult to find a place to put your towel and bag much less to sit and enjoy the views

The view is fantastic, staff were prompt to help out especially when the hotel wifi was down. The automatic toilet and shower and tub were good. There was an ice machine as well which was great for having ice cold drinks

Потрясающе удобная кровать подушки и одеяло как облачки))) вкуснейший завтрак. Персонал отзывчивый. Отмечали здесь годовщину, было очень рамонтично)
В ценах за отелььи в ресторанах не указывают налоги и сборы. В итоге получается +30-35% к цене (обычно наа Шри плюсом идёт только сервисный в 10%). Неприятно. Выглядит как заведомое введение в заблуждение

Unreal view from the pool top. Really made our stay in Colombo so much better!
Maybe just the transport they offer you is expensive but you just get Ubers and it’s half the price.

Hotel was close from the train station, very new and spotlessly clean. The rooms were very large and super nice, with a great sea view. The rooftop pool is amazing !!!
Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of choices, and pretty good.
The dinner buffet took us by surprise because it was astonishingly super spicy.
You can hear the train passing under the hotel all the time but it was not the most disturbing for us !

Несмотря на комментарии, мне повезло при заезде очень быстро оформили. Правда при этом денег взяли больше, чем написано было в Букинге ( расчёт в долларах) На мой вопрос почему? Стали объяснять про повышение курса доллара, хотя расчёт был в долларах! В общем неприятное враньё. На заметку, везде расчёт внутри отеля (ресторан/бар) прибавляйте 30% к указанной сумме! На завтраке жуткая толкотня в небольшом помещении, со столов тарелки не убирают, пришлось самой все сдвигать, что бы хоть куда то присесть. Номер, бассейн как на фото - супер! Правда в номере такого класса не было ни тапочек, ни халата. Банные принадлежности все это было.

The hotel is truly beautiful. Definitely get the sea view, you won't regret. All the staff are extremely welcoming and the Christmas buffet was not only delicious, but full of variety. The wifi is super strong too.
The massage rooms are gorgeous and the gym is very well equipped with separate weight & cardio rooms. The rooftop bar is breezy with beautiful sunset views and great music - though there are no loungers for sunbathing.
It's really thoughtful to have ceiling fans in the room because I personally find airconditioning too dry. The area is quiet with many convenient shops around.
The 'all day' dining place is not actually open all day and when it is, it opens 30+ mins late and takes 30+ mins to bring the food. The staff are nice but don't show any initiative E.g. they don't tell you when a dish meal comes with fries, they let you order extra fries (I was a table for 1). The Japanese food was great quality but I had to ask multiple times for simple things like water or ginger.
The staff aren't great at communicating. I had to call multiple times to ask for slippers and a robe. It's like people take your request and forget. They will collect your laundry and not tell you anything about how to pick it up, nobody responds to the hotel WhatsApp for massage/restaurant booking, generally confusion with every conversation or request.
While great, the gym is not cleaned often enough and my room had thousands of ants. Every direction I look, there was an ant. They were walking to the air vents so they must have a good source in a place that cannot be reached by housekeeping. The towel on the massage table smelled old and oily, was definitely not changed and the masseuse was older and not strong enough to do deep tissue - she also waited in the room while I was trying to change instead of collecting her tip outside - quite uncomfortable.

- an der Rezeption stehen immer Leute an, sodass es zu langen Wartezeiten kommen kann
- Das Essen auf der Dachterrasse konnte geschmacklich nicht überzeugen, der Service hier ist sogar katastrophal
