We stayed for 1 week in the Thyme 2 apartment and we enjoyed it. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and a very nice yard/terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast. We had everything we needed: washing machine, hair dryer, iron, clean towels, detergent etc. The area is quiet, close to Chania (10-15 min by car), and there are some stores nearby. The beach is 10 min walking distance.

Everything was perfect.

Location was perfect to our needs, short walk from the beach and local cafes, short drive from shops and cafés in Souda and about 10 min drive from Chania.

There was no dishwasher but this was not a problem for us. This was also a workcation for us, so at times a desk would have been nice to have. However, just for a vacation stay nothing was lacking.

Nothing not to like

I called the host while looking for the property and it's told me that the house is full and they cancel my reservation. They gave me back my money but not the full amount (maybe because of booking fee, maybe because of the difference of EUR value - I don't know). I lost a lot of time being tired (it was late in the evening, after a full day of traveling, flights etc) and some money.

Great in all aspects!

We only booked this fantastic property for two days at the end of a three week tour of Crete, simply because it was cheaper to stay on than to fly home. But I'm so glad we did! The apartment is very spacious and modern, tastefully decorated, clean and incredibly comfortable, and the welcome gifts were amazing, including fruit, Raki, water, fruit juice, olive oil, red and white wine vinegar, salt and pepper, coffee pods, biscuits, and various cleaning products and toiletries. The hosts were definitely the most generous we stayed with, and were also incredibly kind--they really helped me out after I injured my knee and even offered to take us shopping! The beach is just a short walk away and has the calmest water we saw during our stay, making it perfect for young children and swimmers lacking confidence. I'd definitely return and hope to do so next year, even if only for a few days before or after visiting other areas.

I loved everything so no complaints at all, but an outside shower on the terrace would make it even better!

Pictures mirrors exactly the apartment. Everything was modern and well furnished. 2 bathrooms with wide showers and a fully equipped kitchen. Very good value for money. Having breakfast on the balcony with a view on the Souda port was very nice. Definitely recommended!

Nearly nothing we didn’t like. Just the slope to the house was a bit steep but all Crete is ups and downs.
