a convenient spot to spend a night for the early morning flight next day

location close to quayaquil airport, we could've walked but were advised not to. good for a night before the next morning flight to santa cruz. we paid $5 for a taxi ride from the airport, i guess it was grossly overpriced. the host lady was very nice and friendly, she speaks spanish only, with google translate we were able to exchange a few sentences the host lady drove us to the airport the next morning at 6am. very nice of her doing it for us.

didn't have enough time to find out if there was anything we didn't like. we arrived at midnight and left at 6am the next morning.

Very good

The staff is very kind and helpful. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Shower water is hot, and airconditioning works well enough. Walking distance from shopping mall (15minutes) and airport, but would not recommend walking after sundown .

A power socket next to the bed would have been nice, as well as a light on the bedstand instead of the very bright light on the ceiling.

Booked the Hotel due to proximity to the airport and not to discover the city. For that it was a great place to stay. The owner was very helpful, drove me to a nearby restaurant for dinner and organized an early taxi the next day to catch my flight. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Be aware that everyone I asked recommended me not to walk from and to the airport, even though it is very close. Take a taxi instead. Also, it is not a large commercial hotel with 24/7 reception. Better contact them before to communicate your arrival time.

Convenient for airport connection. Safe. QUIET. Clean. Friendly staff.

Very quiet street and built like a fortress. We felt very safe and mothered in a good way by the hostess.

Was led to believe they communicated in both Spanish and English but the lady did NOT speak English.

Location was mediocre. Low at street level and loud music playing on the street below a lot!

pricy but good

We were staying one night before catching a flight and it was very close to the airport. Esperanza picked us up even though our flight was delayed by almost an hour. She was a little overwhelmed because strikes were causing employees to be late yet did her best to accommodate us.

For Guayaquil the price was a bit steep even though it included transit and breakfast. We had to change our plans and originally had a two-night stay with breakfast and transit for only $45; this place was $60 and she changed extra for water and for our transit back to the airport.

Comfortable bed and good breakfast. The staff were nice, with limited English skills.

No signage outside so a little scary walking up to a door. We took a cab to the hotel which was inexpensive.

The owner is quite helpful, even though she speaks little English. Our flight was very late, and she stored our luggages

The room is big , clean , and comfortable. The bathroom is a full size bathroom. The breakfast is quite good, it offers ham, egg, bread, fruit, juice, and coffee

I had an absolutely amazing stay here!!! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I felt perfectly safe as a female solo traveler. I had to get a COVID test for my flight and the owner drove me to the hospital herself. We even went to a lovely dinner afterward when I said I was hungry. She went above and beyond to help me. She is such a kind, warm person!!! I wish I would have stayed more time. The homemade breakfast is delicious as well. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

The hotel doesn’t have any identifying markings which made it difficult to identify the correct location . The hotel is accessed through a locked gate with a doorbell. If the staff isn’t attentive you think it’s a private home and want to drive away.

- Perfectly located, clean, quiet hotel, close to the airport and main bus terminal. - Esperanza was the perfect host. Very helpful, attentive, kind and accommodating. - Huge bed and very comfortable mattress. I had a great night's sleep. - A/C and hot water working well. - Strong and reliable wifi 25Mbps down and up - Good selection of restaurants just a few blocks away and also close to Mall del Sol.

Nice hotel for the price I paid.

The property is beautiful. The woman who runs it is very effusive. The young man who works there is less talkative but will do anything you ask. Free WiFi and free secure parking. They offer free breakfast on an upper floor deck but I didn’t take advantage of it. My room and bath were old but very clean.

I had a reservation so they knew I was coming but I drove around the same couple of blocks for 45 minutes trying to find it. It was a beautiful, old multistory home in a residential neighborhood with no sign, no exterior light and a locked gate … just like all of the homes around it. I finally just had to start knocking on locked gates, which felt rude and was a little frightening. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes! In all fairness, my room was the only one on the ground floor and the door wasn’t airtight. They leave the large front doors open at night for the breeze and my room was a straight shot for them. I doubt guests on the upper floors had the same problem.

Exceptional, clean, and friendly!

The breakfast was standard for this location. The hotel was definitely one of the nicest I've seen for this price range, and the manager was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I have stayed in several of these original architecture hotels near the airport, but this is by far my favorite. It was successfully modernized without losing all of the charachter. The rooftop kitchen/dining room was very plesant and comfortable. The room was very clean and beds extremely comofortable.

We had a little trouble with our room's deadbolt lock and had to leave it unbolted for breakfast. If we were staying several days, I wouldn't have felt safe leaving my things. Since it was just a few minutes, we had no real issue with it.
