Overall, our stay was amazing. There was plenty of space for our 16 family members. Being beachfront and having a pool were huge for having young kids.
Our biggest complaint was the toilet in the jack-and-jill bathroom not working properly the entire time. The management company communicated with us that they were doing their best to get it fixed, but they were at the mercy of a third party.

Excellent location and property size. Beach beautiful and not crowded. The outdoor grill , pool and sitting area with hot tub were well used. It was nice to have balconies on both sides of the house to appreciate sunrise and sunset. The large common area was great for our group for meals and a rainy day.. The home hasc an ample kitchen but could use a few more serving dishes for such a large home. A few minor repairs and a bedroom door that wouldn't close were responded to immediately by this management company. Very clean except one bedroom rug that was sandy and management sent someone right away.. One of the king beds had a broken support board makiing it uncomfortable, but hopefully this will be corrected for future rentals. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was great and so close to the ocean. The upper bunks beds were not made which was a little inconvenient and the number of baths in the lower level was a little sparse for that number of people to share and heads were bumped a lot on the bunks because the space between them was so short. Otherwise it was a beautiful place and when we had a problem the management company was very quick in responding and fixing it. I really appreciated that. Overall a great place and a great vacation

This was our first time on SGI for Spring Break. We loved there weren’t crowds and traffic! We usually stay around Santa Rosa Beach (30A).
Great house and great layout! We were given the wrong code to unlock the door, and it was resolved quickly. We had a major air conditioning issue our last day. Two different calls with two different maintenance men finally resolved the issue. Cape & Coast was very responsive.
Other issues / feedback:
The house has been remodeled and looks great. Towels and amenities match the description. Great proximity to the beach!!
Bedding was nice, however all the top bunks (5 of them) were not fully made - the blankets and pillows were in place but the sheets (fitted too!) were laying on top of each bed. We didn’t discover this until putting very tired kiddos in bed.
Speaking of tired, the pool and hot tub are very tired. They’ve lived their life and need a replacement / revive. The pool heat worked well and multiple tiles were off around the trim. The pool chairs are all broken one way or another (except one), but usable. The hot tub never got above 94 (and it was serviced twice).
The internet needs a bandwidth boost. If more than one tv was streaming they all buffered. We never got the Direct TV to work, but it wasn’t a big deal to us.
The grill needs refreshed as well.
I would probably stay here again given the capacity of the house and proximity to the beach. It fit our group size well. Everyone had a great time and the kids really enjoyed shelling and playing in the sand.

The property was absolutely perfect! Very well renovated, functional and tasteful. The location cannot be better: wonderful for walks on the beach, kayaking & water fun, and only a short bicycle ride away from the center of the island. The property managers are very responsive and helpful.

Two days before we were supposed to check in, I was informed that the house we had rented (for a very elevated price) was under renovation, and would not be ready for us. The good news was that there was another house available – higher end, in the Plantation, much more space. Its renovation also was just being completed, and we would be the first people to occupy it.
When we arrived, the guard at the gate did not have our names. No problem, they let us in anyway. But it took two days for our names to be added to the list.
The house, indeed, was spectacular. So open and bright! Nearly Everything brand new. The property manager told us they had literally been finishing things up as we drove in, so she knew there would be some things missing or not working quite right. For instance, the new icemaker was not functional at all. They left us a cooler full of ice, which they replenished for several days until they could supply countertop icemakers for us. The propane tank for the grill showed up a couple of days After we arrived.
We had no WiFi. The TVs weren’t set up to use. There was a lot of construction detritus around-nails and screws, dust, plaster chips, styrofoam pieces were everywhere, including in the pool and continuously blowing into the pool. The outdoor shower didn’t work for several days, and when they did get it running it was only cold water, and no hook to keep the door closed. The garbage disposal backed up and the pressure blew the pipes apart, spewing water and spinach all over under the sink and the kitchen floor. The lights in the fans on one side of the house all seemed to be on the same frequency for their remote controls this meant that when someone turned their bedroom light or fan off or on it turned the other rooms lights and fans off or on. This was a little bit disconcerting in the late hours of the night. The lights in a couple of the bathrooms flickered, as did any lights that had dimmers on them. The curtains on the front sliding glass doors were not great… Not very attractive, seemed rather “cheap“, and were difficult to open and close. The screens on those doors obviously had not been replaced. There were lots of holes and tears in them, and they were difficult to slide, making lots of noise. We bought our own broom and dust pan.
On The plus side, The property manager and her team were outstanding and very responsive to all our needs, tho they could not resolve them all.
