This condo is the sister condo to Sweet Carolina KDH (VRBO # 1932495). The owners are seasoned hosts that maintain a 5 Star rating on their properties. This condo is close to many places. Movies, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping areas, mini golf, outlet mall, fishing pier, Jockey's Ridge, Wright National Memorial and Air Museum and so much more! You can also explore the surrounding areas to visit the aquarium, marinas and lighthouses. Lucky Break is a spacious condo that is less expensive than an oceanfront hotel room half its size. It has panoramic views of the ocean throughout the unit. Any closer to the ocean and you would be in the water. Lucky Break is a first floor end unit in a quiet oceanfront community. There are 2 private bedrooms each with their own king sized bed and linens provided at an additional cost. The condo has 3 flat screen TVs for your viewing pleasure. There is a balcony with high top chairs overlooking the ocean to enjoy your morning coffee and a beautiful sunrise. There is a large community pool on site. Lucky Break was remodeled in 2022 with beautiful luxury flooring, new furniture throughout, a new kitchen with gorgeous granite counter tops and a coffee bar. Great location. Comfortable home. Only issue was we didn’t ask for linens and was charged . We brought our linen,let the owner know,but we still got charged.

The location is on the water and able to see water as advertised. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to make Thanksgiving dinner. The property manager was very responsive and pleasant to work with.

Condo was beautiful, renovations to the place made it feel top notch. Very cozy place with a beautiful view. I will definitely be staying here again. Not to mention the owner was very responsive and very nice. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars!!!!

We stayed for 3 nights in J1 unit. End unit, beach front, quite, listened to the sound of the surf all night 😀. Place was very clean and nicely decorated. Beach chairs, coffee and coffee maker, beach toys for kids and games. Elevator was an awesome surprise! Pool and i do believe a hot tub, we did not use due to being at beach. Golf courses close by, wild horse tours, plenty of restaurants, and things to do. Grocery store was also close by. Goombays resturaunt was a block away, great food and fun.

We had the best weekend staying at the Luck Break, I loved the surf theme. Everything was very clean and the kitchen well stocked with pots etc. The owner was very quick to answer any questions during our stay. The keyless entry made our stay easier without the worry of a key.
The location is perfect for touring the OBX, heading south to the Cape and then north to Corolla. Loved the Publix near the property. Great area lots to do.

The condo was great! It was decorated well. Everything was clean and everything you needed was provided. The kitchen was well stocked. There were games and movies for all. The beds were restful and the sunrise from the balcony was spectacular. Do know, the dune is close to the property and tall. You can see the ocean but can’t see the waves crash in the beach. That is minor! Great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucky Break! The pictures are a great representation of the unit. It was nice to be so close to the beach, be in an end unit, and also have a pool to use. There is free onsite laundry, which was a nice surprise. The kitchen is very well stocked with all sorts of dishes, silverware, cutlery, pots/pans, small appliances, cutting boards, measuring cups, etc. We enjoyed all of the thoughtful extras like laundry baskets, hair dryers, board games, books, movies, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys. The freezer has an ice maker, which was great for taking ice water to the beach. Would recommend this unit for sure!

We loved our stay! The unit was easy to get to, super clean and so so cozy! The weather wasn’t in our favor so being here made staying inside and on the patio, amazing! Will certainly return! Thanks for allowing us to visit!! Great hostess!!!

Lucky Break was the perfect place for our week on the Outer Banks. We loved the living spaces and the location. Had wonderful meals and saw all the sights. Would definitely go back.

We had a great visit at Lucky Break for long weekend visit over spring break. The weather didn't allow for a lot of beach time but the house had everything that we needed and was a great location. We will definitely consider coming back.

We enjoyed our stay. This condo had all the amenities anyone would need. The location within the Outer Banks was convenient to many sights, restaurants, and shops. Being right on the beach was great for morning walks and great sunrises.

My wife and I had a great time. Kill Devil Hills is very centrally located so it made it easier to see all the Outer Banks. When in the Condo, we were right on the ocean so the sound of the waves were relaxing.
The place was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Centrally located to everything OBX has to offer. Front row seats to one of the best views. By far one of my favorite VRBO experiences and Jocelyn’s communication was superb. Thanks again! Will be back!

Beautiful condo with ocean views from kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. The place was cozy and inviting with comfy beds and sofas. Kitchen had everything you would need including basic spices. Stocked coffee bar was a nice touch. We had one minor issue and I messaged the owner. She got back to me right away, had the issue resolved and call later that night to make sure everything was okay. Very responsive. We would stay here again.

Renting property was easy, check-in was easy, though agent responded by getting exterminator promptly, seeing big black roach crawl across floor on first day was somewhat unsettling.. Also, we were not aware of elevator until we were packed and ready to leave. Definitely not a 5.0 in my estimation.

Jocelyn was the most responsive VRBO host I have ever corresponded with. She answered all of my questions very quickly and provided excellent recommendations on restaurants and shopping.
The location of the condo is perfect. You have an ocean view from your bedroom & living/dining/kitchen area. You can hear the ocean while you sleep and the walk to the beach is steps away.
There are restaurants and grocery stores very close by. We walked to a restaurant twice.
I cannot adequately describe how beautiful the condo is. It is so welcoming. I felt like I was staying at a friend's place! The decor is stunning and the kitchen has absolutely everything you could need. Everything is new and top quality.
I have already recommended this property to several friends.
We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Lucky Break! Everything about this place was first rate. New, clean, beautifully decorated. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, games, dvds, nice TV. Just steps to the beach. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony while watching the waves roll in every morning. Cocktail hour in the afternoon. Bed is super comfy. Great beach chairs provided. Close to grocery stores and in walking distance to a great bar/restaurant - Goombay's. Took a day trip to Duck. Checked out Fishheads in Nags Head a few days. We had a great week. So happy this was available.

The entire process was so easy from booking, to checking in, and communicating with the owner. This oceanfront condo is conveniently located to everything you need in Kill Devil Hills. Clean, great view, and on the first level so your not lugging all your belongings up and down numerous steps. Would recommend to small families and couples staying in OBX.

We had a wonderful time at Lucky Break!
The owner, Jocely, communicated throughout the reservation to arrival process and answered all of our questions promptly.
The unit itself is well equipped, beautifully decorated, and right on the beach. The sunrises are incredible and worth getting up at 5:30/ 5:45am for. Best thing is you just need to go on your back porch to watch them! When you do want to go to the beach, it is right there so no worry about packing up the car to drive to public access (where parking can be limited).
The condo is centrally located near EVERYTHING- grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, movie theater (in case of inclement weather), and the Wright Brothers National Memorial.

Wonderful Host
We unfortunately had to cancel our trip at the last minute due to a medical issue, so some of the rate your stay questions didn't apply to us, but Jocely was so kind and gracious when we informed her of the news. She was very helpful throughout the booking process and was a joy to work. We look forward to booking with her again and being able to make the trip to enjoy their beautiful condo. She is a 5 star host all-around!
